thx for the info. when I do that, I only get options to go into rsd, fastboot or nvd or something? hmmm...
Flash the recovery again. Once you have verification on your device that this has been flashed, reboot your device by holding volume up + power.
Then 3 seconds after you see the Motorola logo, hit volume down. You should now see "Android Recovery" in the top left corner. Hit volume up to boot into recovery.

CWM Recovery Installation Verification

Hello all,
How can I confirm that CWM is installed in my phone? I just ran the CWM installation and I'm not quite sure if it installed succesfully. Thanks for any help!
Go into hboot and select recovery and see if it let's you in.

Just boot into the recovery and see if it loads up CWM.
Download Rom manager, and click reboot into recovery. Then it will reboot to CWM
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
- Go to Settings>Power, and uncheck "Fast boot". Then power off the phone.
- Once powered off fully, hold the volume down button, and press and release the power button. Keep the vol down button depressed until a white screen comes up with Android mascots along the bottom. This is hboot.
- From there, use the volume rocker to navigate up and down, and power to select. Select "Recovery".
If a black screen with blue text menus appears, you have CWM.
If you don't have CMW, a black screen with a symbol with a green circle will appear, and after a few seconds be replaced with a red exclamation mark.
thanks guys! got it!

Don't Worry,
Download ADB toolkit
go to shell
and run command by on debugging on in developer option..
developer option can be on 'About Phone'---> Software Information---->Build Number (Click 10 times)
command: adb reboot recovery
If you have custom recovery, use only kitkat method.
1. Power off device
2. Hold volume down and power button at the same time
3. When lg logo appears release for second and now hold volume up and volume down at the same time
It is a little tricky and you maybe need to restart device multiple times
4. You will get "Factory data reset" screen
Now, if you have custom recovery you can select "Yes" and enter recovery, this will not format your data. But if you have stock recovery it will format.

Need some help upgrading to KK6

I am currently running KK 5. something on my TF101 with TW 2.8. I have downloaded all the KK 6 files but can't get into recovery. I have tried to power down and boot into recovery, TW app boot into recovery, three button method and nothing seems to work. With the three button method I hold power and vol down until the screen with text pops up, then press the vol up key. After about 5 sec the screen flashes and goes black....then nothing. any thoughts?
