I have a Skypower bluetooth clip on headset and also a Sony Ericsson HBH-65 headset. Both work fine for pick up/cancel calls when using the xda2 with nothing installed. Because I have a Holux bluetooth gps, I needed to install the fantastic blutooth tools program which made the gps operate flawlessly, however if I now discover and pair either headset neither will work. They both bring up bluetooth tools, I have only one installed at any one time, I install as headset and everything seems fine but when making/receiving calls with headset mode activated, the headset does nothing, the calles arent routed to the headset, its as if the headset doesnt exist. Anybody have a suggestion please :?:
I have now reverted to pocket bluetooth tools 1005 and everything working normally again. If anybodt else has this problem please let me know if you managed to solve it as I prefer the latest bluetooth tools.
The only problem i found with the new bluetooth tools is that you have to click on the 'bluetooth headset is enabled' in the profile menu which you really need to keep on the today screen all the time, i found i just tap the bluetooth icon in the bluetooth tools menu, then tap on the enable in the profile menu and i can the make and end and answer calls using the button on the headset, when making calls you can only dial either the number you just typed in, or the last number dialled
Bluetooth tools e Qtek 2020
Where can I find 'bluetooth headset is enabled' ?
Thank you,
Click Start, Settings, Today, then the items tab. Put a tick in the "profile" box.
Cheers
Hey guys
I recently bought a Chatterbox XBi2 bluetooth headset that supports A2DP and Handsfree, and using MSVC the mic is activated on the phone, not the headset.
I am able to play music through it, and I can answer calls in the default configuration.
The default behaviour for the main button is to run redial.exe, and none of the remap posts I tried (reg keys/dll's/etc) worked, so I just copied voicecommand.exe over redial.exe, and this does work as it should. (MSVC voice launches and comes over the headset).
The problem is, the mic that is activated is the mic on the phone, not on the headset.
This is driving me nuts, as this headset is completely useless to me without MSVC.
Can anyone help???
thanks
Cory
EDIT: I have a touch diamond
I've been searching my ass off to no avail, someone must know something to point me in the right direction.
thanks
Hi,
I have Nokia NH301 bluetooth ear set, which is working well with N85. When I try to use with Fuze, I have the following problem:
1. Phone conversation works with bluetooth earphone, but ringtone comes from both bluetooth and speaker.
2. All other sounds e.g. music, video etc come from speaker.
WM6.1 bug???
more likely incompatibility as my bluetooth headset don't have that issue
i c, no patches? buggy WM system
Suddenly every sound go through bluetooth!!! but after I off and on power button, same problem happens. What on earth is the problem?
would suspect that having suspended the device which turn off bluetooth one would
have to reactive it as stereo headset in the bluetooth options
I use Bluetooth / wired headset. I want HTC Sensation to accept the incoming call automatically so that I don't have to press any button on my headset say when I am driving.
I have searched a lot, found partially working application called 'lazy car'. It does solve the problem partially because it only works when wired headset is connected. Does not answer calls when Bluetooth headset is connected.
The application's developer says it Bluetooth headset feature might not work on HTC, which is surely not working.
Can anyone please suggest a solution to automatically answer incoming calls please?
Thanks!

Hi,
When I was on my HD2 using WinMo,there was an option to auto-answer.
I have the same bluetooth hands-free system that you mention, but I am unable to do this on the Sensation.
Sorry.
is there any solution or we are left?

Hi,
I have not yet found a solution.
Sorry.
Is there any way to get my BT headset to permanently act as the microphone for the tablet? I've been searching for apps, but couldn't turn out anything in particular. It's a rooted one, and "use for phone sound" is checked in BT settings for the headset.
Any ideas? You'd think someone else would have a similar problem - or is it just a problem with the headset's capabilities?
My sennheisers work fine...
