I was using my Alcatel idol 3 that I have had since September. I noticed today that there is a faint blue splotch in the middle of the screen. It is only really visible against dark screens. What is this in my screen and how can I fix it?
I offered the Alcatel OneTouch 3 (4.7") to my father (for Christmas). Less than 3 weeks later I noticed this problem on his screen. I will return the phone to Amazon (I send it tomorrow) and I have asked to be totally refund, no replacement model for this non reliable phone.
You should return it too. Use your warranty.
Here is the screen problem on my father's Idol 3. There is some wirred light points.
I put the picture in black/white and worked on it to make visible the default on the picture but it's really visible in reality.

I dropped my phone few days ago and screen is really messed up. I tried JScreenFix and Pixel Fixer, ran these apps overnight but still nothing from it!
Friend of mine said these dead pixels will go away in 2-4 weeks. I really don't think it will work.
Btw those blue pixels have become even more intense now!
Please Help!
Here are the photos of my XT720 with loads of stuck pixels :

THis is not a problem software/apps will fix. You will need to replace your screen, look for parts online.
I had the same problem, I just went over to the local service centre and they fixed my screen! took them 5 days though! mine was still under warranty. I believe you have a year warranty and you don't need the warranty card or anything!
I dropped my Huawei Ascend G300 in water a month ago and took it out the exact moment, removed the battery and let it dry out. An hour ago I decided to turn it on and the screen started to flicker until it shut down (nightmare). With a little hope i searched google what to do and have put my phone in dry rice for a day. Luckily the phone turned on afterwards and everything works just fine. But I noticed this unusual bright lines on display that do not look like stuck water, but don't look like backlight bleed to me either. Look at the pic and tell me what do you think?

Fly fs502 cirrus 1 version 5.0 my phone is logo hang but i flashed it 4.0 after flashing my phone touch not working
I replaced the digitizer on my sensation 4G a while ago and the entire screen stopped working after like a month. It was also overheating which makes me think it might be a software issue, but I have no way of knowing. So anyway, I was about to take apart the entire thing to try and find the problem and I noticed something while watching a tear-down video. Before the guy in the video put the digitizer in, he removed the sticker things from the digitizer, which you can see in the image below (the yellowish one with blue-green writing). I didn't take them off, and when I did there was a sticky residue left behind. Could this have caused the screen to stop working after a month? If yes, is there a way to get it to work again without getting another digitizer (and LCD probably)?

I've had my HTC One X since the day it came out and love it but I had a problem that turned out to be the motherboard for the phone. I fixed that by finding someone with a broken screen white version from AT&T and bought that since my screen was fine. I switched things around and gave it to my son so he could get away from a Windows phone was using. About a week ago there would be weird texture issues on the screen where the fonts looked to tear almost and then when playing games it would go to a screen of different colored pixels

. Anyway I have taken the phone apart and checked all the connections but I am at a loss and as a matter of fact the phone just sits there on the same screen all the time now so I made it worse.
Anyone with similar experience that has a better idea? Thanks.
Hello! I'm from Chile if my English is not very good. A family member traveled to the USA and I ordered the google Pixel 2 XL. The device is new, has less than a month of use and started with a problem on the right edge of the screen. At first I thought they were burned pixels, however it is worse when it is with low brightness and it disappears when I put the brightness to the maximum. To this is added that a horizontal line crosses it from the area where the problem is located.
Anyone else has happened? Do you know what it is? It has a solution? Being in Chile, it will be difficult to use the equipment warranty ...
I leave a gallery in google photos where the problem is observed.

Thank you!
That definitely looks like a defect. I just bought mine and nothing that looks like that...same for all of the Verizon demos I saw at the store. I'm not sure how you can arrange an exchange seeing as you aren't near where the phone was purchased.
