If you needs wipe user data, open recovery and select WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET
Superuser.apk (SuperSU)
Now you are free to choose what kind of modem and location you prefer to use it because the firmware is divided into three parts

and I want indian csv bootloader etc can I extract that from indian stock firmware merge with your files and flash it will it be ok as I don't want to kill my Baby

You can take my preroot PDA, make your CSC packing cache.img, hidden.img into .tar and flash
BOOTLOADER and MODEM possible unused

I have a question...the SM-N900 device must have the same firmware region code (XXU) as the uploaded files or it doesn't matter? I'am a little bit confused.

First of all Thanks A.S._id.
I flash, because I need two thing : french and root.
My phone come from Thailand and I flash only PDA, no region change.
I have french language now :good:
For root, it did write something about blocking SU (or something like that) on first boot, I did clean the message too quiclky.
But so far no root and SU fail
(I'm going to try the recovery there : [RECOVERY]CWM Based Recovery 6.0.3.7 for N900 N900S N9005 N9006 N900T
EDIT : Finaly, with CWM and SU update, My device is rooted !

The device is NOT fully rooted, actually, well, even after applying
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2460720 , I get crashes and instabilities among the installed apps.
Deleted all the KNOX apps using Titanium backup and applying http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2463116&nocache=1 but it did not seem to help. I even did a full wipe, cache wipe, and Dalvik wipe.
Is everybody happy or is it me?

Could anyone teach me how to know the correct firmware or corresponding files for our bootloader, CSC, modem & PDA version? I only know there are Build Number, Baseband & Kernel version in the "About Device" section but i don't quite understand here.

Flashed it succesfully but CSC is still BTU , so i cant recieve OTA that way ..

I managed to have marshmallow !!
Must flash the rom 5.1.1 XEF via Odin, then i change the lfaut CCS XEF is by default BTU

Then with phone info in secret code you are looking for

You change the csc in XEF, the phone reboot in recovery, you reboot to verify if csc have changed, you reboot in recovery, wipe cache, factory reset, and reflash 5.1.1 XEF via Odin, after reboot you can upgrade to marshamllow !

I had also a lot of problems to change the csc code. But now it works. First I flashed the G920FXXU3COI9_G920FOXA3COI9_G920FXXU3COI9_HOME.tarmd5 with odin I reset the phone in recovery Vol +, Home and power. Factory reset.
Then I booted the phone and choose factory reset in settings. Then afterwards I restart the phone in recovery and whoop it was changed into XEF.
Now I'm flashing G920FXXS3COK5_G920FOXA3COK5_G920FXXS3COK5_HOME.tar.md5 and then I hope that the MM update will come popup for download fingers crossed

With in Odin (i provided a working one also on Drive) you have the tab: Log, next to that: option and next to that you see PIT. Ingnore the message you get, and then flash.
After that reboot in Download mode and load the ROM on AP> Flash and voila.:fingers-crossed:

Flash to a CSC that is not included in the XEF multi-CSC.. PHN(The Netherlands) did the trick for me, factory reset, then it should be switched to PHN, and then flash the latest XEF firmware(which is 6.0.1 on samfirm now). France always gets updates first so if you wanna stick with official firmware you need to have XEF as active CSC to get updates for the france ROM

Use team mt multi tool and tick on emui 8 and use unbrick option and extract file from oreo package because nougat files gives error after successfully flashing try to debrand section

Check all file some files are missing or try to extract all file and try once again ' ramdisk_recovery_a' it should be ramdisk_recovery

When I plug in the phone it stops

Try this:
With MT flash stock recovery and eRecovery (both same version 1xx) then flash the rool-back package by pressing Vol+, Vol- and Power at the same time!

I need some help,
Last time i updated my phone to 5.09 cn rom after that when i got bugs i tried to downgrade to 3.34 and i bricked my phone , then i use unbrick tool and get back to asia version but now my phone doesnot have the charging animation in power off mode and also fastboot device is can't get the device in win7/win 10. I also tried 2-3 times by reflash the cn rom and again back to asian version.
Need help any guide please.

I forgot to mention that adb is working, bootloader is unlocked, i can access bootloader by using keys and adb reboot-bootloader command, but can't get device in device manager in fastboot mode , i can also access 9008 mode and recovery mode. Already done, still fastboot not fixed. Thnx for your kindness and reply on my issue.

Wifi not even turn on in custom roms(android 9)

After completing flashing linage os 16 android 9 wifi wont even turn on. At setup screen it said attempting to find wifi but no result even i am 2cm away from my router.
Get to home screen , i swiped down to action center and clicked the wifi button. After closing the action center,then reopen, wifi still greyed out (did not turn off)
Then i head over to wifi setting and turn it on, however even the button is switched to on, it still say off. Then system ui crash.
So i think this rom did not work, i flash other android 9 rom, mokee os. And result are same. The biggest difference is instead of crashing systemui, it actually attempted to turn on wifi, but after 10s it turned off.
I dont want to flash any rom again.
I rooted the machine alrrady and have a 72byte bin file in prelist folder thing but still not work

ok i got some trouble. The twrp 3.0.0 is unable to boot on my r7sf. It just hang on logo and shut down
However, I have a backed known working 3.1.1 so i reflashed (seems only this one work)
Now i have more trouble. MTP is not working, so i have to use my a50 to transfer zip. But it has error 7.(couldn't find device model)
However, i know the strategy for this by edit the zip file (like i flashed the project spectrum) but this is the ONLY file that says invalid zip file (i have edited twice but same errors) agg now i don't have OS on my phone

and btw if u still have transfer error try different USB port, i had the same issue once. I plugged it onto the motherboard USB instead of front usb hub and it worked.
Also i think 3.1.1 should work with that rom, but if issues arise during flashing let me know

My phone not even boot anymore LoL. I flashed 2 times but it just shut itself down. I will make another post for that
