Try powering off the tab. Then, plug into the PC for 24 hours. This should recharge it. If the battery is low enough, it may not charge properly on the Acer 12VDC, 1.5A charger. The USB will charge it. But, only around 3% per hour... and NOT while the tab is on.
If you are not using the Acer charger, that may be your problem. The connector is slightly different. and provides a 12VDC charging pin in addidtion the the rest.

I have unplug and then replug with caution, every thing is fine now.may be just a bad connection.

[Q] Defect Battery?

I am not sure what the problem is, so maybe someone can help me.
I have a tf101 whit docking not rooted or anything.
The battery is drained 1% I can start the tabled and it shuts down, exactly what you would expec. When i plug in the adapter directly in the docking or tablet alone. it does not say charching. When i leave the charger in the tablet it is actualy charching(over night it is 30%), but it is not saying that it is charging. When the battry is 30% and i leave the charger in and start up the tablet the battery drains to zero.
I have tried multiple cables and chargers and all simulair.
Anyone?
I just found out that it is charching whit the original charger again. Maybe the charger has been the issue over all.
For now the tablet is charging again and problem looks OK again I still think it is a combo of battey getting bad and bad charger.

[Q] Charging issues

My tablet is completely drained of its battery after I plugged it in for an hour or so and it didn't even trickle charge, now I can't turn it on.
My OEM cable was torn up, and had to be replaced with a 3rd party cable I bought from Amazon.
This cable worked fine for about a week, then today it stopped charging it completely.
I can't exactly identify if the problem is with the tablet or with the USB cable. The device doesn't even heat up even if it's plugged into the charger, every once in awhile the battery charging animation would go on screen, which means there is some juice to turn the device on, then it would go off presumably because it stopped charging.
TL;DR: I can't identify if the problem is with my 3rd party USB cable, or if it's the tablet's fault.
Thanks, guys.

[Q] A510 doesn't boot after battery charger burned off

Hey guys
I've a really big problem with my A510. Last week I charged my tab as usual. After a while I've checked my mails and felt that the tab was unusually hot, definitely hotter than on normal charges. I therefore disconnected the charger and the USB connector was terribly hot. I've checked the charger and noticed that the cablewas broken. I took a closer look and saw, that both wires have been ripped open and probably connected each other. I think it has created a short circuit, caused the USB connector to even melt in the inside.
Funny thing is, that it was possible to charge the tablet to around 60% and I've used it to order a new charger which arrived today, the battery is completely empty and the tablet can't be turned on. So I've connected the new (original Acer charger, no cheap copy). The orange LED on the power button appeared as usual, but I didn't turned it on as I wanted it to charge a bit before trying to booting it up. After an hour or so I checked the tablet and it was again unusually hot and the orange LED turned off. I've disconnected the charger and tried to power the tablet up, put nothing happened. Also pushing the reset button will not boot up the device. I've connected the charger again and the orange LED also appeared again, but after around 10 seconds it turned off again and the tablet got already hot within 30 seconds (around the area where Iconia Tab is written on the front side).
Does anyone have any ideas what could have happened? I'm thinking that the battery might have been damaged by the short circuit, but on the other hand I was able to use the tablet a day or so before the battery went down to 0% which would mean the battery might be ok.
I'm clueless right now and would be very happy for every idea.
Thanks!
Yesterday I've opened my tablet to check for any thing obvious. After opening the device I could already smell burned electronics. I further disassembled the device and found one IC on the mainboard which had some brownish powder on it, the IC type was no more readable. After plugging in the power charger this IC went extremely hot, so I assume that it burned while the broken charger was charging up the battery. I checked the internet for a replacement mainboard and found some on Alibaba. As the price is too high for me and I can't define if there are any more broken parts I decided to buy me a new tablet. As I was very satisfied with the product from Acer I've stayed with them and bought myself a Iconia Tab 10 FHD A3-A20.

Galaxy A3: Screen turning on and off constantly while cable plugged in

Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) which is acting strange with one of my chargers:
When I plug in the cable into the phone while the charger is not connected to the electricity the screen is turning on and off constantly while the phone is at the lock screen. The battery symbol doesnt tell it is charging so I am a bit confused why this is happening. When I did the same (plugged in but charger not attached to electricity) with under 10% I got a popup warning me that I shouldnt charge another device while my battery is low.
When the charger is connected to electricity everything is working fine
Every other charger doesnt trigger that behavior
Should I worry about this and maybe get another charger?
Thanks a lot!
