SOC (System on a Chip)
Nowadays most of the Android tablet pc manufacturers are from small factories, Shenzhen, China. Before a tablet comes out, several steps need to be processed, during which the design of SOC is the key to decide the quality of a tablet. Here are some common SOC in the market.
1. VIA8650 is designed by VIA Technologies, Inc, who provides a stable and mature turekey solution. It has the hardware and software both debugged. Manufacturers can directly produce tablets based on the design without any change. Its highlight is its super cheap price, and so is the tablet produced.

2. AML8726 (Amlogic 8726) is one of the quite mature SOCs that can support Android 2.3 in China. It has Cortex A9, 65nm LP and 800MHz CPU Clock Speed. Mali400 GPU (Graphic Process Unit) is applied on it so large 3D games can run on it smoothly. Another advantage is that it supports HTML5, which can play online videos. Apple products only support HTML5 instead of FLASH, so AML8726 gives you iPad experience.

3. RK2918 (RockChip 2918)
RK2918 has updated to SDK 2.0 (Software Development Kit), which can copy the interface of Android 3.0. Cortex A8, 1GHz CPU contributes to better and stable performance on graphic processing than A9. There is no problem to play 1080P videos on it.

Other good SOCs: Samsung PV210 that has good performance and support many games but TF card ROM decreases its life and stability; Renesas EV2 uses Dual-core A9 which consumes less power but large games don’t run well on it.
RAM (Random Access Memory) and ROM (Read-Only Memory)
RAM is a form of computer data storage, which can be both read and written, the larger the faster. The smallest one is only 256MB, like VIA8650. Common Android tablet pcs have 512MB RAM, and at least DDR (Double Data Rate), usually DDR2 and DDR3.
ROM usually reaches 2GB, 4GB, 8GB or higher. Another element is the Extend Card. Maybe the ROM of a tablet is only 2GB, but it supports TF card that can extend to 32GB. It’s also great, is it?
Touch Screen
Next comes to the touch screens. Normally VIA8650 uses the resistive screen. But the resistive screen gives uncomfortable touch feelings. As a result, more and more tablets now use the capacitive screen instead of resistive screen, although the former is much more expensive than the latter. Besides, it comes to TFT screen. There are diverse sizes, 7 inch, 8 inch, 9.7 inch and 10.1 inch. You can choose the corresponding according to your purpose. More advanced screen is IPS screen which can give better experiences.

Because of the cheap price, it is powered by MTK6582 Quad core 1.3GHz processor, which runs faster than those dual core smartphones. MTK chipset is the mainstream for the manufacturers, therefore, this time, No.1 still uses MTK chipset to get the customers' attention. My experience is that when i play a mid-range games, it runs awesome.

When i got this smartphone, i also have guessed the internal storage. Because this smartphone has the price below $130, it can't be ROM 16GB. Although it sports RAM 1GB ROM 8GB, it can be expanded by ROM 32GB by a TF card. There is a gentle tip that don't download many apps, because it will be stuck.
Highlight 4: Android 4.4 kitkat OS
There are different kinds of customers who pursue the latest system. This smartphone has the latest android4.4 kitkat OS. Compared with Android4.2 Jelly bean OS, the overall performance has been greatly improved. It brings more convenience and simplicity compared with those android4.2 jelly bean system.

I have also checked the dual camera that it has 8mp rear camera and 5MP front camera. But the system shows 17MP rear and 8MP front camera. This smartphone has some unique features that i like much. For example, it supports gesture sensing, which i can wave my hands to open the pictures and accept the call or refuse the call from the strangers. And it can also support mulit language which let me set it in my mother tongue.
In conclusion, it has attracted my great attention that not only it 's of Oneplus one clone, but also the ultra-competitive price and performance compared with other Chinese smartphone. Therefore, i show it for your reference. And if you want to know more, just leave comments to discuss.

Is this phone reasonably easy to carry in a typical shirt pocket? Also, I will be using this phone to play music, can you advise how good the audio output through headphones is please? Are all phones using the MTK the same quality music? I don't need ultra high quality since most of my listening will be at work probably thru Panasonic clip overs, but I do want clean and clear, not bass heavy, output.

Basically if you’ve got a reason to mount a phone in a car and don’t care about device specific tailored car mounts, it’ll hold it.
Perfectly designed and strong structure.
The suction cup has a lever that makes it stick extremely well and releases fairly easily, and you can put your phone in using one hand if you’ve got the skills. They claim it’s the world’s strongest suction cup on their website; www.winnergear.com There’s also an adhesive pad if you want to dash mount it and it doesn’t stick well.
What’s the awsome thing about this mount to me, and I’ve tested many others a car mount now, is that it leaves the camera completely uncovered. This means should you want to take video of yourself driving, or the road, all the cameras are free and not obstructed by the car mount.
The Montar simply clamps down on your phone with some rubber grippy things. It uses enough force to press a button if you happen to place one in its path, but not enough force to really fight you if you attempt to remove it.
The claw grip can be rotated 360 degrees, and it tilts at least 90 degrees. After you get it where you want it there’s a ring you can tighten to make it stay. Basically you should be able to angle it like you want it in your car and have it hold your phone without dropping it.

If you have an old Garmin GPS mount the Samsung S5 mounts perfectly and securely in the cases side grooves.

would be cool if there was a mount which also had wireless charging.

My favourite's the Ram mount X-grip. Ram products are all modular so you pick your pieces (preferred suction base, length of arm, size of x-grip). I use it on both a car and motorcycle. I like the ability to choose the length of extension arm between the suction cup and grip, since I mount it on the bottom left of the windshield and the phone sits between the window pillar and the instrument panel. They have a rubber add on 'Texel' that wraps around the edges of your phone and secures it to the mount if it's on the bike, although then it kind of covers the camera.

HONOR has unveiled its first folding smartphone, the "HONOR Magic V," at a China presentation, joining the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Oppo Find N as foldable smartphones on the industry.
The inside folding screen on the Magic V extends 7.9 inches from edge to edge, has a resolution of 2272 x 1984, a refreshing rate of 90Hz, and a 10:9 aspect ratio, whereas the external screen has a resolution of 2560 x 1080, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a 21:9 aspect ratio. Both displays include HDR10+ certification and a 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G SoC powers the smartphone, making it the first foldable phone to feature the flagship processor. To keep the temperature of the phone within conscious control, there is also an intelligent cooling system that includes third-generation graphene as well as an AI intelligent thermal management system!
A 4,750mAh battery with 66W quick charging supports the device. It boasts a fingerprint scanner on the side, a USB 3.1 Type-C port on the bottom, an infrared sensor, gravity sensor, gyroscope, compass, and light sensor and dual stereo speakers.
