My cousin fiddled around with my mi4i (miui7, global stable) and now my camera stopped showing live filters gallery and manual controls. Can something be fine to turn it on from settings or any other workaround other than wiping dalvik cache and clear data.

EDIT: Well, I fixed it. I used Jishnu's Camera mod "return to stock" zip and it fixed things thankfully.

When attempting to use the standard camera app on my Nexus, I get this error. I've had a Nexus 5 since launch and had NO issues whatsoever with the camera until recently. No matter what I try to do, the camera app doesn't load. Not from the lockscreen, not from the app, etc.
What's odd is that I CAN use apps like camera zoom fx or the built in snapshot feature in the facebook app for example, and the camera works then. I can also use hangouts and I've verified the front facing camera works. Oddly though, using the camera within the Google+ app crashes the camera too.
I've tried clearing cache, dalvik cache, force stop camera, disabling and re-enabling and no dice. A friend of mine postulated that it could be the HDR mode messing up. I DID have HDR active the last time the camera worked. But with no way of resetting the application/toggling the HDR switch (because the camera won't load to that point), I'm SOL.
Here is a screen cap video I took demonstrating the issue. Don't mind the artifacting at the start of the video, I'm not sure what caused that.
My current phone build is in my sig, except I'm running the most up to date Franco Kernel (iirc r37).
I am using miui 7 on my mi4i. The camera app suddenly stops showing the live filters gallery and most of the manual mode settings viz manual focus, exposure control, etc. I have lots of settings and data in my phone and so avoiding wiping cache and data. Is there a workaround so that i can get back those options without wiping data or cache or such?

I have a problem with my Idol 3 Camera. For 2 days, I can't take any photo or video with the stock Camera app. I tried with others apps like Open Camera but same problem, the app crashes or either says me that the camera is currently used by an other application, which isn't the case. Btw, it's working with Messenger and Snapchat, but the quality is very low. And I can take selfies, but when I switch to the front camera, the app is crashing.
My Idol 3 is running the stock ROM and is rooted, do you have any idea to fix this problem ?

You can try clearing cache in twrp or in settings/storage press on cached data

I tried another ROM but same problem
The camera app always worked well, but since I updated it to Nougat, every time I take a picture with the wide aperture feature the phone freezes and the photo is not saved. I have to reboot it in order to use the phone again. I've tried deleting the cache and data of the camera app, making a factory reset, nothing worked. Huawei support says that it might be a 2nd camera hardware problem, it was working until i received the update. Anyone know how to fix this? Also, in case i wont be able to fix it, which camera app do you suggest that has a nice portrait mode?

I used poco x2 from last 3 months but now when i open stock camera app and select slow motion my camera app stuck and only show blurred image and any other features of stock camera app also not work After click on slow motion and then i have to close app and open it again . I don't wanna do restore my device but i did restore camera settings , clear data , clear cache , restart mobile but nothing work for me plz help me out
