I am using miui 7 on my mi4i. The camera app suddenly stops showing the live filters gallery and most of the manual mode settings viz manual focus, exposure control, etc. I have lots of settings and data in my phone and so avoiding wiping cache and data. Is there a workaround so that i can get back those options without wiping data or cache or such?

My cousin fiddled around with my mi4i (miui7, global stable) and now my camera stopped showing live filters gallery and manual controls. Can something be fine to turn it on from settings or any other workaround other than wiping dalvik cache and clear data.

I have a problem with my Idol 3 Camera. For 2 days, I can't take any photo or video with the stock Camera app. I tried with others apps like Open Camera but same problem, the app crashes or either says me that the camera is currently used by an other application, which isn't the case. Btw, it's working with Messenger and Snapchat, but the quality is very low. And I can take selfies, but when I switch to the front camera, the app is crashing.
My Idol 3 is running the stock ROM and is rooted, do you have any idea to fix this problem ?

You can try clearing cache in twrp or in settings/storage press on cached data

I tried another ROM but same problem
The camera app always worked well, but since I updated it to Nougat, every time I take a picture with the wide aperture feature the phone freezes and the photo is not saved. I have to reboot it in order to use the phone again. I've tried deleting the cache and data of the camera app, making a factory reset, nothing worked. Huawei support says that it might be a 2nd camera hardware problem, it was working until i received the update. Anyone know how to fix this? Also, in case i wont be able to fix it, which camera app do you suggest that has a nice portrait mode?

- Clearing cache of the phone
- Resetting the camera app settings
- Factory reset

Update: Problem solved after leaving the BETA 3 (DRL7) and going to (DSD3). All seems to be working fine after forcing an update using odin.
My fronr cameea isbt focusing. Selfy wirks also it doea focus when those 3 small trees on camera are selected biut its from far .Also cannot zoom.I tried running on safe mode tun another external camera app cleared data chache resetting camera reset app peeferences. Nothing..my work depends ob the camera. Please help me
