hello,
Phone Model: Wing M45
Specification: Android 4.2.2.
MT6572 1.3ghz
256mb RAM
The screen on my phone has sucked on manufacture logo and process can't go further every time i restart it.
The problem is that i can't even install custom ROM. Because phone is not in USB Dubbing mode and not in Developer option.
So when i install ROM manager like CWM it gives error like"partition 'recovery' not support flash".
Now the question is how to root the phone or enable USB Debugging from pc in fastboot mode.

Hello guys, i have a Tecno F8 mt6589 that got bricked in bootloop and continually reboot from the logo screen. I dont know what happened but i can access its recovery mode and the factory mode. i tried a lot of things to make it discoverable by my Windows 8.1 PC but this is what i see in the device manager: "unknown USB device (device descriptor request failed)", Trouble shooting doesn't work.
When i boot into factory mode and made an auto test, the test result is:
[ x ] eMMc
[ ] Wi-Fi
and when i select the clear eMMc option it will just show formatting eMMc and suddenly, within less than a second, the phone reboot with continues bootloop. I dont know what happened with the eMMC
While in the system recovery mode i can do anything but i cant use the apply update from sd card option.
Please i need your help
Also, there's no sign of detection when i switch off and connect the phone to the PC, even if i remove the battery and replace it back. The phone only start as if its going to start charging then continue to its bootloop upon the connection. It is only discoverable as "unknown USB device (device descriptor request failed)", when i boot into either the recovery or factory mode.

Hello,
First of all I'm French so sorry for my bad English.
I just purchased a Zenfone 2 Unlocked (Model ZE551ML), and for some reason i thought it was a good idea to root my system. After rooting I disabled USB debugging and yesterday I decided to update my system software to a newer version without knowing at the time that it wasn't a good idea with a rooted cellphone. Now the android phone is stuck in boot-loop and after factory reset/wipe cache it is still doing the same-thing. After searching the web, I concluded that flashing the software using adb software was the best solution but I soon after realized USB Debugging was disabled and after checking with adb I get this message when I try to use command ''adb sideload file.zip (where file.zip is the file name of the Asus firmware)''
Message :
C:/adb> adb sideload system.zip
loading: 'system.zip* deamon not running. starting it now on port 5037*
* deamon started successfully*
error: device not found
Just to make sure everyone knows, the zenfone was plugged via USB and I was in ''apply update from ADB'' in the recovery mode.
How do I proceed ? Is Flashing my zenfone 2 the best option for my situation? Is it possible without USB Debugging Enabled?

Hi,
I broke the screen of my phone, and it is not responsive. Still I can see things and the phone is working. So to access the phone, I bought an OTG cable and connected an USB mouse to it. But it is not working (the mouse is not powering up). As I can not access my phone to install any apps or even if I install an app from browser, I can not open it. So is there a way to install any package or something which can enable the OTG support? My phone is rooted and I can access recovery mode.
Details of my phone:
Name: Karbonn titanium s5
OS: Android 4.2.2

I have a zenfone C, it is bricked now. When I turn it on, it shows the Asus logo, then bootloops after a minute interval. When I connect it to pc, the charging icon appears. I cannot enter into recovery mode, and I cant flash a new rom because it cannot be detected by pc. I have intalled isoc, including usb drivers but still cannot detect. This fone has no warranty anymore.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Since you cannot get the device to recognize on a PC, I doubt this will work. From my standpoint, it is your last hope:
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Asus Zenfone C bootloop
If you run into problems, can reply in that thread as well (once you have an XDA account).
Hope this helps, and good luck!
Hi everyone,
I recently got the new UMI MAX and i would like to root the phone.
The problem is : when I plug my phone (switched off) in the usb port for flashing (TWRP Recovery) with SP Flash Tool in download mod, nothing happens but the phone start charghing (the battery is unremovable). Yet, all my my Mediatek drivers are installed correctly (I guess). Windows also tells that the USB device is not recognized.
-Device : UMI MAX
-OS : Windows 8 64bit
-Software : SP Flash Tool
I may have missed some important information so ask me for details if needed

Greetings and welcome to assist. Some models you have to press one of the volume buttons while connecting to USB but most of them don't need it and you mustn't press any of the buttons.
There is a guide here

if you are still having problems ask the experts there to see if they can help
Good Luck
