I'm on CM 13 nightlies ... Does anyone else not have the option to train Google Now to only recognize your voice? In CM 12.1 it was in Google Now > Settings > Voice > Train, but now there is no Train option.

Click to collapse
Google Now > Settings > Voice > "Ok Google" detection > Retrain voice model, does such option exist to you?
Not since cm13
Same issue here. The menu to train "Ok Google" is gone while the cards are working fine.
Also not possible to select the "Google Now" launcher.
Cheers,

Hi, I would like to know why I didn't have the personal voice recognition on my Nexus S in the setting to check (I had a Nexus one and the option was there)
Settings -> Voice input & output -> Voice recognizer settings -> Personalized recognition
I can't see it why?
How can I get Google Now/Search to work offline? I've got Google voice typing to work offline through settings > language & input methods but I'm unable to use it with Google Now. Anyone have any ideas?
ex: I'd like to just say "Open Settings" to be able open the settings app without being online...
I'm struggling with this issue as well. Sometimes when I'm traveling, I'll be in an area with no data connection or WiFi. I can say "OK Google" to activate the voice search...however, any command I give it (i.e. Play 'artist') is met with "Can't reach Google at the moment. You can still use the mic to place calls. Say "Call" and a name or number." I know the offline voice recognition works, because I can turn off my WiFi and data and use the voice input to write text. I have Xposed installed and I tried the "GoogleOfflineVoice" module, but I'm still met with the same message.
Does anyone have any ideas of a work around for this? This is particularly frustrating because I used the Google Search API and Tasker to automate a lot of my phone usage while I'm in the car. However, if I don't have a data connection, it no longer functions.
If you don't have a data connection it's never going to work. It has to go to Google servers where the database is and all the heavy lifting takes place
Sent from my Nexus 5
I have done the following steps:
Go to “Language and Input” in the Setting
Tap on "Download offline speech recognition" under the "Voice Search"
Choose the language pack you want your Android device to recognize
Download the pack and enjoy the offline voice typing
Then Reboot
Then opened Google Now
Turned off Wifi and Mobile Data
Then Spoke Set alarm for 20 minutes
It showed Didn't Catch that please try again (I spoke 10 different Commands at the clearest voice but failed)

Hello All
Recently moved from iPhone to Samsung S6. Like anything new, it's been a bit frustrating. I'm now beginning to see the light! My main issue is with some voice. It's certainly no Siri. Can I get some assistance on how to use Google voice as my default voice to text. I drive all day and use Bluetooth. S voice is not doing the job for me.
Thx
Use Google now.It works really good.
Maybe you need siri[emoji12]
To disable S voice: Settings --> Applications --> Application manager --> S-Voice --> Press 'Disable'
