If the navigation bar seems to take up too much space and you would like a smaller one, I've made a couple of height options. One goes from the normal 48.0dip to 36.0dip and one goes all the way down to 28.0dip.

Enclosed is a separate zip in case you would like the actual navigation icons themselves smaller.
Also, I have some colored icons too.
any screenshot ???
Really thinking about flashing back to stock rooted to try this. Anyone on stock rooted willing to give this a try for the rest of us?
If this works then my need to run a custom ROM will be pretty much alleviated.

Never heard of that but you could try. This zip creates a restore file in a folder called ozog. If you have problems, flash the restore zip. Or, you could upload your framework-res apk and I'll make you one.

There is no reason this would work with CM.
EDIT: I suppose I should expound on this. This is a simple framework edit. The edit must be done to the framework-res.apk of the ROM it is to be used on. Since all of these are edits to the stock ROM they will not work on other ROMs such as CM.

Great point. Might hit up the OP for some pointers.
@sn0warmy @Tulsadiver Do either of you use linux? For ****s and giggles I built a linux script that pulls the framework-res.apk from your device, decompiles it, modifies the dimens.xml so you will have a 32dip navbar, recompiles it, copies the modified files to a vrthemer file, zips that file, and finally pushes that zip to your phone so you can flash it. It takes about 30 seconds to run through this. Its a one trick pony at the moment, and requires you to have adb and apktool located in/usr/local/bin/ so they can be accessed from anywhere (one should do this because anyway).

Hello. Currently, it hides the "AT&T" in both the unexpanded and expended statusbar. I can make it so it appears in just the expanded statusbar or put something else in the expanded statusbar (may take a bit, but should be fairly quick).
I have some testers, so if they say all is good, I'll put up the DL link straightaway...
I am working on working CWM port now, so I am just going to post, as it seems to work. Have fun, and use at your own risk!!! I'll also have an installer up soon.
Oh, THIS IS FOR THE 1.82 RUU, I haven't tested on 1.73, but I can make it for that version, as well, and 1.85 when it's rooted...also, you need to be Deodexed!

Thanks for all of your hard work! You seem to be running about 4 projects at a time.
Hey, sk ...that Logo is not rom based...it's actually carrier based, It will display whatever carrier you are on..
For example, I'm on 1.82 att rom but it displays rogers, since i'm using rogers..
so when you changed to another network it will be the name of other network.
just want everyone to know, so they will not be that annoyed to have it.

Thanks for pointing this out. I just find it annoying/redundant, and it's not in the carrier free One X, so I got rid of it. Like I said, I can add it back to the expanded status bar if people need to know what network they are on (and it's still on your lockscreen).

Process:
1) Rename Old SystemUI.apk to SystemUI.apk.old
2) Move new SystemUI.apk to /system/app/ with Root Explorer
3) Set Permissions to rw-rw-rw
Success on Magnolia X. (On 1.82)
Just to let everyone know it re-set my wallpaper to the default ROM one, but of course this is easy, just re-select the one you want!

The wallpaper change happens any time you replace the systemui because when I was doing some theming of the apk it happened every time even when putting the original back. Just need to go into settings and reset it no biggy.

A simple way would be to use a file manager that will let you access root files (such as ES Explorere) and look in the folder /system/app - if you see any files that say .odex and .apk then you are still odexed. If you only see files that say .apk then you are deodexed.

That would be cool, thanks! It seems that with the tab setup some of my notifications no longer display (i.e. K9 / Kaiten mail, etc) Also somehow some scren resolutions seem different now with a few launcher menus (folders) running off the screen now.
Stock N7 running 4.2.2, rooted.
[ EDIT ] Whatever the issue was with notifications went away once I switched to Apex launcher (which I was going to do anyway). Not quite sure what the issue was before the switch..

LG 4.4.2 Stock Rom - Massively debloated, only has a few apps left. All LG features should work. Requires custom recovery. Do not flash AOSP or 4.2.2 kernels.
This includes my new updater script for kitkat so it actually has a /system folder instead of the system.img.
You can find the standalone updater script here. I believe it is the first created, every KK rom I've seen is not editable using a system.img. It took a few hours to create.
The kernel is stock but I made some small adjustments and toolchain fixes.
I have a custom kernel for this up in this forum.
Instructions.
Full wipe besides for internal storage
Flash Kitkat modem here (If you aren't already using it)
Flash Rom here (mirror soon, but not yet since I need to reupload)
Flash SuperSu here
If you get a "symlinks failed" (happens right away if system doesn't mount properly) reboot back into recovery re-wipe and flash again.
You are the man!?!?? I should have never left your lg 4.4 build. Flaked another and paid for it.
Thanks again doc!!

It will download if you go to the torrent file using a file explorer like estrongs. I don't know why it doesn't work the way it used to by just opening up after downloading the torrent file but at least your not totally screwed.

twrp 6.3 failed had to upgrade to 2.7 for it to flash.
i've tried every single Kitkat rom I have get my hands on, followed the instructions to the letter and if I turn this screen off and turn it back on, its just lines. White lines or colored lines. Every single f*cking kitkat stock rom. I don't get it. i'm ready to throw the thing into the river.
I know its not your rom, and it works flawlessly as long as I don't turn off the screen.

This is probably one of the most confusing issues to me since everyone here has the same device, downgrading to the same exact partitions yet some people have these line issues which makes no sense to me at all. I've been trying to figure it out but its a pretty confusing issue, its not like we have different variants. We can maybe try upgrading tz and rpm partitions since they will work with this bootloader
The only thing complete stock has that this don't is the new partitions and I'm really not sure why it's causing issues for some people

I will prolly work on one this weekend so if you want to play with this make your nandroid and give this a flash.
Hey bro,
Good work getting yours fully functional. How did you go about yours? I used dsi-xda kitchen, I know it's old so that could be why I had issues. Just want to find out where I went wrong haha, I'm all for learning
Thanks for the upload!

No, I actually only use DSI-XDA kitchen myself.
I did what I always do, grab the stock image from Google, break it down, add my own root and busybox (not the ones in the kitchen, they are older).
Then I use my updater-script that I hand built from prior releases along with matching binaries.
Pretty much that is it. I am going to look at yours in a minute and I will PM you what I find.
EDIT: Sorry, I didint mean to cut you off on your thread either.
Downloading now, thank you ?

Thanks @scrosler. Going to wait for your Clean Rom.
I just tried to flash it (deodex) in TWRP, and it failed. It says:
symlink: some symlinks failed.
E:Error executing updater binary in zip
EDIT: I redownloaded the file, and it worked on the 2nd try. Must have been a bad download.

Don't worry man haha, yours works better let's be honest so we might as well get people using it.
Interesting I did pretty much the exact same, added the updated superuser since there is a really old one in the kitchen like you said. I think my updater script was okay. I guess I had some weird binaries or something, I just grabbed them from a 4.4.2 rom, not entirely sure what there purpose is. Or how to view/edit them.
I'll probably have another blast at it tomorrow just for the fun of it, I want to try get it working so I know for the future
EDIT: though I had issue with root not working out the box, maybe I missed replacing something. What files did you replace?
If you want to look at mine it's here: http://d-h.st/rMs
Sorry for being curious

This is an error with TWRP. Just reboot into bootloader then back into recovery and you will be fine.
New boot loader included?

Since someone i trusted took a zip i made(dont know who) and uploaded it to the public figure i might as well post the original zip.
credits for the leak cant be given due to nda's, jobs, etc. just be grateful
apks need to be installed to system for google now page to work as well as wallpaper picker best bet is to just flash the zip as it is. or place the apks in the correct locations with correct permissions

So without root this can't work properly I take it?
Force closes for me, tried installing both as a normal APK and pushing to /system/priv-apps/NexusLauncherPrebuilt and setting permissions. (Galaxy S4 TouchWiz 5.0.1 Rooted, Xposed)
Any suggestions?

You just need a way to flash it or push it to /system/priv-app/NexusLauncherPrebuilt. You don't need to be rooted to actually use it.

The path should be /system/priv-app/NexusLauncherPrebuilt (don't know if that was just a typo here) but so far it has only been tested on Marshmallow and Nougat, it may just be incompatible with Lollipop. You may try flashing it if you have the ability to do so.

I checked the path, it is correct. I also tried flashing it with the same results. I know that the apk is lollipop-compatible as it does not throw a package parse error at install. Something else must be causing it to crash...
I was on the Google app beta stream, so I even tried opting out of that and installing the release version, that did not work either... so it's not an issue with the Google app.
Just installed on my LG G2 d800 and it running great! Looks amazing, sick wallpapers and pretty smooth. Awesome work!

What version of Android are you running? And is it AOSP based or stock based?

I thought so... it seems like the launcher will install on Lollipop but force closes.
@BeansTown106 do you know if this is an older version of the APK or if it is close to release or even the release version? Something tells me they haven't ported things back to Lollipop yet...
Anybody know why I'm getting this frosted dock? I don't want it..

Installed fine in DP5 using nexus 6 but I can't get the Google Now slide to work.

Interesting, I only get the frosting after I begin to pull up the app drawer.
Also force closes for me running DP5, Nexus 6p. I'm not having much luck on G+ getting answers to wether or not other preview users are having the same issue after flashing the zip.

Strange. I've tried a few times now, always with the same result. Flashes and installs fine but as soon as I try to access the home page I get constant force closes. I'll have to give up and troubleshoot in the morning.
