[Q] Z3 or Z3 Compact?

HI all,
Just wondering if there is any major advantage to getting a full size Z3 over the Z3 Compact apart from the screen size?
I'm currently on a Nexus 5, but looking for a change, going for a Z3 or Compact due to PS4 Remote play and expandable storage.
How does a compact compare in size to a Nexus 5, is it much smaller?
Any thoughts/personal expierience would be welcomed
The Z3C is a little smaller than the Nexus 4

I don't think you'll really notice the 2GB vs 3GB of RAM either. Sony did the compact right.

Best Smartphone

Im debating between those 4
1) Huawei Nexus 6P 64GB 900$
2) LG V10 64GB 950$
3) Sony Xperia Z5 Premium 32GB 1000$
4) Samsung Galaxy Note 5 64GB 1200$
I KNOW THE PRICES ARE CRAZY AF (WELCOME TO ISRAEL) BUT WHICH OF THOSE (OR FEEL FREE TO GIVE ME OTHER IDEAS) IS THE BEST OF THE BEST?
important things:
performance
display
battery
camera
so.... what should i buy?
somone???
im a nexus fan boy..
that gives you the idea on what i will choose

SD card access much slower than internal storage?

I currently have a 64 GB S6, and I'm thinking of upgrading to a 32 GB S7 with an 128 GB SD card. (I can upgrade through work and sell my S6, so I'll even come out ahead.)
I know that access to the 128 GB SD card is slower than to internal storage, but how much exactly? Would that affect my user experience at all? Would I notice if files are read from, or written to, the SD card on the S7 compared to the internal storage on my current S6?
Any recommendations for specific SD card to put in the S7?
Thanks!

Fastest card you can get would be the Samsung Pro Plus.
And they're priced accordingly, too: $150 for 95 Mb/x, 128 GB on Amazon. Would an 80 Mb/s EVO+ (at about $60 less than half) make a lot of difference in user experience?
(By the way, I'm not a gamer at all, so I doubt I'll have games or other very large apps on the SD card, just media such as photos, music, etc.)

I paid $93 for the 128GB Pro Plus direct from Samsung. I'd say at that price its better to skip the Evo altogether. As for speed the Evo will probably do what you want. I was using a Toshiba class 10 for the past year and a half and had zero speed issues but wanted to jump to the Pro Plus for the extra capacity and to have the speed for HD recording.
I use the Sandisk 128GB 80MB/s without any problem at all, came from S6 64GB, have not noticed any major difference, it works good enough.

@[email protected], since you already did what I'm considering doing, how's the upgrade from S6 to S7 been for you? Are you liking it? Something you'd recommend? How's the S7 camera holding up compared to the S6? (I know the reviews are generally very favorable, but it's always good to get the opinion of someone who's actually made the jump.)

hmm, for me I really wanted IP68 and microSD, so it was worth the upgrade, bu also the better battery life and better camera, I love the instant focus... so I would say it was worth the jump, but bare in mind I do get my phone through work so I don't pay for them.
Paid 39$ at best buy on a price match for a 64gb pro plus Samsung
More than read speed for specs on a card.

[Q] Phone choice: Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge vs Huawei Mate 10 lite

Dear Community,
I have been using a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge for the past two years without any significant issues, apart from a defective screen which got replaced and is now pink-ish near the bottom, and a noisy camera when focusing. Generally I like the device quite a bit, despite it being not officially supported under Android 8 Oreo. The only relatively significant drawback for me is the lack of a microSD card slot - my version is the 32GB one and is almost always out of enough (3-5GB) free space (this, of course, is largely my fault ).
I got a new Huawei Mate 10 lite as a present past week. The 64GB version with 4GB of RAM.
I am now in doubt whether I should upgrade to the newer (but cheaper and bigger) phone or stick with the SGS6 Edge I already like and feel as enough for my current and future (1-3 year) needs. Unfortunately I am afraid that I would have to choose only one of those devices, so any opinions, questions and advice are welcome.
This is the GSMarena comparison of the phones, and the photo quality comparison.
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Nikolay

Need a new flagship android phone - please recommend ❓️❓️❓️❓️

Hi all, i currently have a Samsung Note 10 Plus 5G.
I wod like to get a new flag ship with the following criteria
1. i hate curved screens
2. above 8gb ram
3. generally new good phones are 120ghz refresh rate
4. 256gb and above, plus a micro sd slot (i current ha ve 256gb and using an extra 400gb sandisk micro sd card)
5. a headphone slot is nice (but optional)
6. obviously a nice screen, fast chipset and good cameras are important also
7. i am not a gamer so keep that in mind pls.
what are my current options?
i really hate curved screens. need to mention that again. thats what i dislike about my current note 10 plus 5g. (and i really like this phone)
