Hi everyone. Recently I bought a Xperia Z5 and installed latest updates (32.0.A.6.200). My phone CDA is 1298-7744 correspondind to T Mobile Austria.
The thing is that de camera application "Creative Effects" is very laggy. Is that normal? I notice some lag in whatsapp and snapchat camera too. Any ideas if this could be software problem or related to hardware? I did a full wipe after upgrading. Thanks in advance.

Hi, since CM10.1 I am unable to play any video smoothly even YouTube and those recorded by the cell camera. The image quality is horrible, looks like there is no bilinear filtering applied just a horrible "nearest neighbor" algorithm, and any video player aren't able to play with hardware acceleration since with it enabled or not the performance and image quality is the same. I would post some pics, but I can't because of less than 10 posts rule .
How to troubleshot this? Any idea of a possible cause? Any help/tip will be appreciated

Can you try some non-CM ROM and verify if this isn't a hardware issue?

Thanks, tried the stock rom and it worked there, then I installed CM10.0 to see if it would work again and it is!

I try to clear everything... Clean flash, flash stock rom, everything clean, but Google Camera is very, very slowly launched...
AOSP Camera is normal launching, but Google Camera is slow... When launched (about 9 sec) then is working normal, but launching is very, very, slow...
I try with older version Google Camera 2.1.037, and with this version is everything is ok, but with latest happened this slow launching... Hm, anybody have idea what to do?
This happened only on 4.4.4 android... With 4.4.3 and 4.4.2 everything is ok...
Anybody have some solution?

It happened to me when I was on 4.4.3 ... also solved when uninstalled google+ app. After I upgraded to 4.4.4 everything is back to normal.
Back to full scratch stock, and then all over again back to SlimKat... Now Google Camera working normal

Just take 3-4 photos with the updated camera app. Don't delete these photos (Let them stay in your phones storage). Voilà!! Your Google camera won't lag on next start up!
I mostly use tiktok app I got very good guilty frm front camera in tiktok app but suddenly before 1day ago I faced this issue when I making tiktok vdo camera quilty too much poor and pixel also poor quilty it's looks like VGA camera how and why I don't know but any suggestion? Help
I suggest you to update your device to latest MIUI , but before that delete Tiktok . After updating install back the latest version of Tiktok and you should be fine . Also check your settings , maybe your settings got changed.

Thax for suggestion but I am already on latest version of miui 2.8.0 which we got before some day ago back camera working perfect but it's creating prblm in front camera maybe I think flash stock rom by fastboot

Very glad to announce that the Android Pie 9.0 Update is now rolling out to Razer Phone 1 devices right now!
I personally want to thank you all for being so patient, I know this was a long time coming but thank you for holding on and sticking with the team.

PSA: Game Booster is broken.
I'll get this passed on asap but for now just reset game booster
(System settings>game booster> tap the reset icon on the top right hand corner) and don't change any settings for now.
EDIT 2: The update has been temporarily pulled due to the Game Booster issue.
I'll let you all know when the rollout starts again.
EDIT 3: Update is live again folks! However there's an issue with the do not disturb function if you have it on its making the camera force close.
It's been reported and hopefully we'll see a fix soon.
When I try launch game there is black screen, I can hear the sounds and play but the screen is black....

I just got the update. not happy at all. Don't like the new UI but even worse games don't work. Black screen and also the camera app crashes every time i try to open it. Doing a factory reset hasn't helped either.

Mine updated first thing this morning. Dont mind the new UI and not had issues with the camera (Google Apk or the Razer camera) but like you no games.
I did as some mentioned above and reset Game Booster and didnt touch the settings on it also put Cortex on as well. All my games work now but theyre all set to what ever Booster defaults are.
The only other thing ive noticed is i now get 4G+ which i didnt before.

Everything was working apart from games when i first did the update. Thought something might have messed up so i did a master reset on my phone. Everything still works even games with the booster reset tweak. Put the google camera apk on as well as better options than the stock Razer camere app and thats fine too.
(Update - just resetting Booster worked for a while then the games stopped displaying again so ive disabled Booster now and everything is working as it should be)
Don't suppose anyone has the update backed up for us poor people who missed it

Most things seem to work, do not have a simcard in it to test with.
Only problem so far:
Razer Camera app & Gcam FC.
Open Camera works with back lens, FC when switching to front lens.
Clearing app data does not help.
Reinstalling Gcam does not help.
Razer Camera cannot be uninstalled.

I hope some enlightened dev can pull the useful bits from this update (if it is working) and use that to fix the quirks on phh's Pie treble build. I never got the camera working with it (I can live with the BT bug)

this build of camera work fine for me MGC_6.1.021_RP1_V1.3.2-BSG. it is in the forum (don't know the exact address). The only con I have with the pie is that the battery drains fast (6% in 8 hours standby) or it might be my phone which needs a battery change.

Hi guys,
I have a problem, i just received my find X2 pro and it's perfect. Almost perfect.
I don't understand why but my camera is lagging when i use Snapchat or TikTok for exemple (15fps). It really works with the default app camera but not with the other apps.
When i use TikTok, i think the app use the preview of the photo mode and not camera i guess
Do you have a solution for this problem ?

Well Android 11 / ColorOS 11 is already being rolled out but depending on where you live it might take a few weeks until you'll be able to download. There's also a guide on how to change region code which will let you download it right away if you don't feel like waiting. Anyhow maybe the update will solve your problem.
Ok i see. I just look some articles for Android 11. I'm from France, i think i'm gonna wait a stable version of this ROM.

I just discovered something, when i'm outside, the camera works perfectly with every apps but not when i'm inside m'y house. I think it's maybe the lighting

Unfortunately the Find X2 Pro doesn't play nicely with social media applications, apps such as Snapchat & WhatsApp struggle with microphone volume as well as the issues you're experiencing, unless it's brought up to Oppo directly I can't see it being fixed anytime soon as it's still just as bad on ColorOS 11
