I will only guarantee the nexus 5 ROM and its abilities.

Important Message
When @KreAch3R showed me this rom, I really wanted it for grouper because of the close to stock implementation.
It runs very well on the aging tablet and is a good way of experiencing Marshmallow like it should be from Google.
I want to thank @KreAch3R for the help and support he gave me.

This will be the post where I am going to write any new updates for my ROM. First of all, welcome!
For XDA, this is a new ROM. But for Google+, it isn't. I been testing it and releasing some builds in this private community, so be sure to ask to join for the latest info! I created this thread to let more people try my ROM, now that I feel it is in an almost perfect condition.
As as I said, my idea is to create a better stock ROM, and this is my target goal.
Another of my target goals is to make the release of a new build almost automated. Right now, the compilation of the 6 devices build list is finishing, and is uploaded to basketbuild, with clever smart scripts. This also updates the changelog in my site, so I don't have to write a new post everytime a new build is released. Everything should work!
Speaking of releases, the ROM comes with an updater, so you don't even have to check the community or this thread for new links. But follow the pushbullet channel if you want!
I've been copy/pasting information for the past half hour, so this new thread is bound to have mistakes and inconsistencies. Let me know and I'll fix it!
Some other important points:
You have to flash SuperSU and GApps.
If you have a question, you should check out google+, in case it's there.
For the Devs: check my vendor folder, I have been developing some automation scripts which I think, you will like!
I am an one man team, sorry for any slow responses.
Yes, this ROM is released for 6 devices, not hammerhead only. You can grab the zips from Basketbuild. I haven't created XDA thread for them (yet) because I don't own them.
I hope you like the ROM!!!

Hello grouper users! @GtrCraft has done an amazing job with grouper, and I am glad he helped to port his ROM on it. I hope you enjoy it, for any problem let me or @GtrCraft know!

GtrCraft,
Which Grouper ROM do you use: This Krexus, your CM13, your Minimal OS for Nexus7, or your Pure Nexus Project?
Or something else?
Thanks for all of them!
Enable attribute inspection in developer option it will enhance performance a lot

ROM is working well so far! Love the small size, but with all the essential tweaks (hoping for a few more in the future..). Have set it up using your suggested performance tweaks, so will see how it goes over time.
Thanks for your great work!

I couldn't get this to load on my grouper. Stuck on Google screen.
Coming from your CM13 ROM. Using TWRP 2.8.7.0
I tried wiping System - no go.
Any trick to this?
EDIT: Is this the issue where one needs to revert from CM to be able to flash non-CM roms? Seems I had this problem with other devices and earlier OSes.

Not just Banks gapps, open gapps pico/nano none of them are working. Even tried without flashing the gapps. My guess something is wrong with the ROM zip.

Hi shreps,
if you don't mind: do you see any chance to post some instructions on how to merge/use your hardware branch for the building process of CM? I've tried to get more info on that, but just got lost in documentation.
Many thanks in advance for any hint/tip
best regards
m
Been playing with this ROM for a few hours now, working great so far!
A new build is online,
Just some CM minors changelog
NICE Rom!
Works like charm!
Fast and responsive, just how I like it!
Tried Games ( Sonic, Monopoly, Dead Slinger ), TomTom Europe and watching some videos - works perfect!
But where can I choose a CPU governeur? Or is that impossible on CM? Does it manage these things by itself?
Shreps you're awesome man
I too like another poster said would like to know where we can learn to make our own builds.

You can follow the Instruction Build for A700 : http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Build_for_a700
When you are at "Prepare the device-specific code "
"breakfast a510" will not work because you will have to add the a510 device tree manually
you will need all the configuration files in device/acer/a510
I made my own a510 device tree based on a700, t30-common and a510 device tree by AOKP

Glad to read that
There is no Governor settings in CM by default, if you're interested with this feature, check my other ROM : 7comp
The ROM works great but sadly I'm gonna stick to AOKP MR1 B5 because I can't manage to run Viper4Android App on this ROM. And the app is nearly essential for the A510. :crying:
maybe a silly questions, but to upgrade from the first to second version, can i just reflash the second one over top? i assume ill have to reflash gapps as well? i dont really want to have to reinstall all my apps again.

Yes, you can flash the new build over the old one, flash Gapps and make wipe cache + wipe dalvick cache
How to change ui to tablet UI?
P.s works good, but some display troubles, its blinking, and 2 times play store fc

Thanks a lot for your ROM, I just install it to replace the stock ROM, and waohh, fluidity, responsive, excelent !!
For upgrading the build April 18 to April 20, you said before :
"flash the new build over the old one, flash Gapps and make wipe cache + wipe dalvick cache"
After this we need to reinstall all the app or a510 just being updating (same as OTA cyanogen on others devices)
Thanks for supporting this device !!!
How to change ui to tablet UI?
There is not tablet ui in cm10.1, just like on stock.
Everything works great so far. I have noticed one bug though. When I want to change the soft button arrangement, the settings-app gets stuck in landscape orientation.
Thanks for building CM for us !!! :good:

The UI of CM is different to that of the stock firmware. Take a look at the UI of the Nexus 10, it looks the same. But in my opinion, the Acer UI had some advantages.

Thanks for reporting, but this might be some CyanogenMod "common" issues on nightlies
I don't have time to make some CM patches
But I will try (if I found the time) to build a new build every week in order to benefits CM changes made
And you (all of you guys) will be able to compare builds and indicates wich build is the most stable

Clean flashed earlier today and seems to be running great. Haven't found anything that doesn't work yet, camera, video, phone calls, GPS all seem to be working fine. Might be the best first nightly for any CM release on this device.

So installed Stock Gapps and the 1st nightly. So far so good, though I didn't get any of the stock CM software like messaging and the browser.
The default google camera gave me the typical "camera has failed" error that I got non stop on 12.1. My solution was always going with Open Camera. Never had issues but in a blue moon.
Any clue why?
So if we are on 12.1, do we need to use the nuke it wiper that was mentioned in the unofficial nightlies?

Hmmm... I've had this before but not on the last 4 builds or so. Dirty flashed originally over the 12/10 unofficial, and have been going on - now on 12/14. If you flash from 12.1 it seems you'd have to use the nuke_it.zip. I tried it on the other MM ROM out there without success, too. Started from scratch here, as baaaaaaaaaad as I hate to clean flash.

Yeah, I hate to clean flash, too. It's almost never actually necessary.
However this time it doesn't seem to matter if I clean or dirty flash, or whether I use the nuke_it.zip or not. I've tried the 12/13 and 12/14 builds with no luck. I've not tried any others.
I doubt it's possible, but I wonder if it has to do with either the fact that I've encrypted my storage or if it matters that I'm using f2fs on my cache and data partitions. Neither of those obviously mattered for 12.1 and neither *should* have anything to do with reading from the SIM...

Don't use nuke-it.zip if you're clean flashing. They changed the database files for the phone, etc , from @Stealth111's thread "nuking your old telephony and settings databases." on 11/21 cm13 or so. Everything after that is the new ones.
This has been a strange gremlin popping up - I'm surprised to see it still rear it's ugly head. You could use one of the last unofficial builds and then update on that - that's what I've done just out of laziness. Got Xposed and Gravity Box running.
Front facing camera will lock the app when clicked. Logcat to come.

Thanks for the reply. I do understand what the nuke_it.zip was for and why it's unnecessary on a clean flash. I didn't articulate that.
I think I will try your suggestion of trying out an unofficial build and see if that works. Do you have any suggestions for which build to try? I'm wondering if I should try one before 11/21, then run the nuke_it.zip on upgrade, or if I should try one after the database change over.
I'll probably end up doing both strategies because neither will work...

I haven't tried it while driving, but I've used it while walking, biking, and hiking. I have no idea what the difference is, but GPS is flawless on MM whereas I couldn't get a lock since KK. I usually get GPS fix in ~30-40s to ~5m accuracy. [[EDIT: That's actually in GPS only mode.]] My experience is that Mapquest is better for handling navigation purposes than Maps. Idk. Personal preference.
I follow in the footsteps of those before me, and hail the mighty invisiblek!

From what i noticed when just quickly messing with it..

With that in mind, I have to say that the google+ community has been flashing bullhead builds for a looong time and hasn't come up with anything, so I thought I'd share it here, too.
That said, welcome aboard!

Nice. Sounds like my kind of ROM.
Any particular Gapps recommended?
OpenGapps are recommended.
Also don't forget to check FAQs before asking stuff

Google Docs won't open on work computer. Can't access G+. Or anything good.
At least once a month they block XDA.

Oh, Wow, that's the first time I hear this. Ok, I'm quoting:
Q: Which GApps should I flash?
A: Open-GApps are fully supported and recommended, if you want configurability. Just don't exclude GoogleTTS. Otherwise, flash BaNks.
Q: Is this ROM rooted?
A: NO. It is supposed to be as clean and modular as it gets.
Q: So, which is the correct flash sequence for me, the beginner?
A: Read beginner guides in XDA
Wipe system, data, dalvik, cache in TWRP
Clean flash the latest build for your device
Flash a custom kernel (optional)
Flash SuperSU 2.52/2.X-latest (optional, if you want root)
Flash Open-GApps (whichever you want, I use a custom setup for the stock)
Flash vendor img (if necessary, check below)
Boot

There's more to it, so make sure to read it later if you have any more questions.
The company I work for blocks all kinds of sites/stuff from being used. It sucks.
Up and running. So far so good.
For anyone that uses it.
AP works with Systemless root and if you install Google Dialer.
Finally on XDA Nexus 5X forum. Been using this ROM since the last two updates. Great ROM.
My favourite ROM on N5X. Have it in use since a few days now.
Simple, clean, runs very smoothly. No unnecessary stuff. Stock experience.
I realy want to try this rom ;D
You really should I promise it's awesome!
This ROM is excellent. Very simple stock experience with layers & minor customizations that I like. Very clean ?

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
This thread is for Unofficial LineageOS 14.1 builds for ph2n. The following will not be supported here:
Custom kernels
Mods
Xposed
Magisks
I don't support Xposed/Magisks and any logcat which includes a Xposed/Magisks module will be ignored. You're kindly invited to not report bugs if you:
Flashed a custom kernel
Installed or did mods from untrusted sources
Modified system files
First time flashing LineageOS 14.1 on your device, or coming from another ROM?
Download the zip(s)
Install a compatible Recovery
Perform a nandroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Wipe data/factory reset
Flash LineageOS
Install the Google Apps addon package (Optional)

Volte is broken (It will probably never work)
Flac Decoding is broken
Device always reports as the metro variant (Doesn't actually affect anything just visual)
Other issues?
Before posting in this thread, make sure of a few things:
You used the search function of the forums.
If you are the only one having a problem. Boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.
Make sure your post is relevant to this thread.
Logs! You can use this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog
Changes compared to Messi's builds:
Volte has been disabled and hidden (It didn't work anyways and it gone improves the battery)
Battery life is vastly improved
No lags or stutters
The fingerprint sensor is disabled when the screen is off like stock
Brand new kernel designed by me
LTE comes up on boot no need to reset the apn anymore
Data speed, in general is faster
Lots of minor under the hood tweaking
Nice job! I've been using this the past few days. Battery life is excellent.
Just wanted to jump in and say thanks. This ROM is much faster and smoother than the messi one.
Also is there any way to turn the always active fingerprint scanner back on? Maybe an easy way lol I'm not good at editing etc

From what I know there is a Magisks or an Xposed plugin that does it but I don't support those so I can't recommend it. But it's your device so you can do what you think is best.

For 64 bit roms you must use the 64 bit TWRP located in the op here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/st...m-unofficial-lineageos-15-1-lg-stylo-t3785219
I'm sure it's located a few places on xda but I was just reading there and came here and it was a quick copy, paste. I'd boot your current twrp and flash the 64 bit via twrp then reboot recovery, wipe and flash rom or whatever and magisk zip at end of install. That's how I do it anyway. Hope that helps some. I'm itching to flash something tonight.
Edit added: I'm a Dork. I replied to a post from October!! Lmao. I'm going to sleep. Gn. Lol.
@deadman96385 Just noticed your icon any chance you could maybe make a liquid remix for us or am I dreaming too much? Hahahahahaha. I was looking at a video of gsi liquid remix and it looked super bad ass. Sorry for OT. Thanks for all you've done. Seems like I remember you from Galaxy nexus days. Cheers.
Wow! After using this for a minute I can really see the difference. The butta in this bad boy has it in and the ripped out stuff we don't need really stands out. Appreciate you! You are on telegram group nowadays yeah?

Resurrection Remix the ROM has been based on LineageOS, SlimRoms, Omni and original Remix ROM builds, this creates an awesome
combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your Device.
Many things that in previous versions were tweaked with mods, are now included by default in the ROM so, please enjoy!
Special thanks to, the LineageOS team, Omni team , SlimRoms and of course to all the supporters.
Make sure you have a custom recovery installed(TWRP is the preferred recovery)
Download the latest Resurrection Remix Rom & the latest GApps package

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.
There is also a donate version which you can purchase to show appreciation.
After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.
Nice... glad to see this one made it's way to MI A2.
I'll wait for some response, before flashing.
Main questions - What's up with the camera ? Is Gcam working correctly ? Is the stock one included ? If it has its own one - is it any good ?
Overall smoothness... how is it compared to PE ?
Update:
F*ck it... I'm flashing... xD
Update 2: First impression - blazing fast...
OTG works.
Customization level - basically GOD.
Included camera sucks.
MI A2 Camera - 60PFS recording is not working.
Gcam Works... testing...
Double Tap to Sleep/Wake is working.
Notification Light is not working properly.
Update 3:
Looks like I'm staying... at least for now - everything works for me. And it's faster than PE + more customizations.
Holy sh*t OP. This is what I have been waiting for. And you are the maintainer, what an awesome thing. Thanks for this. My favorite ROM of all time.

Only the kernel needs to be opensource as it follows GPL.
Why it's not safe ? Can somebody explain the risk to me here ? Cause I don't get it.
Aside from usual risk using any other custom rom.
One thing I can tell for sure - it's not safe for you to use that garbage stock PIE.
It can damage your nerve system.
Installed. Stable
2 issues.

Ok, I left for now. Simply because of looks.
It has outdated "naked stock look" to a lot of stuff that I don't like. (if that makes sense)
But that's just a personal preference.
Switched back to PE for looks.
Just because I don't have enough time to make this ROM look like I want to.
Used it for an evening - everything is fast and smooth AF. Trebuchet launcher sucks tho.
Otherwise - Great ROM! Thumbs Up from me.
i need help :s after flashing this rom, it booted but all my internal storage was corrupted, all folders and files were with names like "AxfThUKngFddS" and tried to go back to stock and now it does not boot and it says that my internal storage es corrupted... i need to recover all my data!!! i have no backup

Same here. Uninstalled after few hours of use. AOSP Extended is the best so far. Battery friendly and so smooth AF. PE for me drains battery so I will stick for AEX for now even if it is not official yet. Hope it will be official soon.
Can I do the installation?
using stock rom
I am using lineage 16. Battery is very well.
I think Mi a2 has encryption bug. So I disable encryption.
If you dont disable encryption Device emmc be slow.
This is my opinion.
