I am currently using an LG G3 (D855) and it has been working fine for the past couple months, but recently it has been crashing while trying to use apps like snapchat or facebook, it would crash about 3 - 4 times a day. But yesterday it got stuck in a boot loop even though im not rooted at all? it was in a boot loop for a couple hours so i decided to take out the battery and put it back in, when i put it in the charger it says i have 100% battery but when i try to power it on it almost boots, it shows the LG logo and sound, but it just goes straight back to the 100% battery screen. AND if i take it out of the charger it wont do anything at all. PLEASE HELP thank you.

Basically I've been running cm12 since the first nightly came out on my Moto G, it's been working fine until yesterday, where I was just going about my day when I look at my phone and it says 'service framework com.google.process.gapps has stopped' I then pressed ok and then my device just went to a gray screen, it sat there for about 10 minuetes before I got fed up with it and held volume down + power to put it into bootloader so I could restart it. Now I'm stuck in a bootloop. But the thing is when trying to do anything in recorvery it just sits there for ages doing nothing and when flashing in fastboot it says that it's successful but really it hasn't done anything either.

Good Luck!
I use a rooted Moto G 1st Gen XT1033 running android 5.0.2. I installed Better Battery Stats due to a recommendation from a friend for rooted phones. I was using it for about a month, but now I got low on space and uninstalled it using Link2SD. It said com.media.android has stopped working, com.lockscreen.android has stopped working and so on, until it said com.systemui.android has stopped working. I rebooted my phone, it booted fine, but, when the Motorola symbol disappeared, the whole screen became black. Can get it to fastboot after many tries. I love this phone but it just shows a blank screen and has stopped working. Is there any way to rescue it? If so, please tell me what it is.
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist There are 2 ways either you can reflash your rom with clean install or you can go back to Stock Firmware this may help you
[GUIDE] Moto G - Restore stock firmware
Good Luck!
I rooted my first phone today. I was freaking out for a while because my LG Volt would not respond to button presses, and stayed on the Firmware Update screen even when the battery was removed. Then I waited a few hours, pressed the power off button, and it suddenly booted fine! I'm pretty relieved. But why did my phone get stuck on the Firmware Update screen with the only sign of life being the port (it was recognized by my laptop)? I used the DP Tools root method because of its simplicity.
Hi there,
There is a good discussion about this phone's Root in New LG Volt LS-740
You may post there if you have further Questions.
Good luck
I flashed my LG G3 Because i felt that the sound was not working anymore and that it can be a software issue which it was a hard ware issue ( loud speaker wasnt connected because of screw) Anyways preformed the stock FW Flash following the guide that highonandroid provided to go completely back to a stock rom. After flashing i restart phone and the boot takes forever until it finally hangs on the tmobile screen. there was a point where i left it over night to see if it will turn on but it still hung for a good 8 hours. Ive done everything i can which can be that i preformed atleast hundreds of hard resets but nothing is working.. there was a point where i did manage to turn it on then i tried updating to lolipop and when it reboots the bootloop is back.. Please help!

Hello!
I recently flashed my Moto G with the unofficial LineageOS 16 rom by allstargaurav. Kudos to him for his work.
I unlocked my bootloader, got TWRP, flashed the rom, flashed Gapps,Magisk and started using it normally.
One night, after using it with the battery at 30%, I left it as it was and did not charge it.
The next day, I saw that it was not booting up at all. I plugged it in and the white led light started and did not go off.
The light was constantly on. I searched on google to no avail.
Nothing works and I have pressed the power button and power+volume down for more than 5 minutes.
I cant get to the fastboot menu or the TWRP, the phone doesnt power on at all so I cant do anything or get a logcat.
Please help!!!!
I also got the watchdogs boot animation. That is all I have modified.
Please tell me what is wrong and how to rectify it.
Please help quickly.
I am at wit's end and helpless. I should also mention that this was my first time flashing a rom on any device, but I followed the instructions very carefully. Before this the phone was on stock Lollipop rom, stock recovery and locked bootloader.
Thanking anyone who helps or even replies in advance.

Being unsure what the problem is, I also followed FabioSan's guide on unbricking the phone, but I got stuck on the part where we go to the device manager console as my PC would not recognise the phone no matter what I did.
Also, the warranty has expired long ago as the phone was bought in 2014 and it was only a 1year warranty.
Therefore, I am considering giving the phone to the moto support centre. I will also try replacing the battery as it may be a battery problem considering my symptom of the white light does not fit any hardbricked phone's symptoms. Will notify if it works.
Till then, please help and suggest what the problem might be.
