[PATCHED] Rooting Bluestacks 1 & 2 (0.10.x / 2.x.x) with Kingroot app - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Kingroot 4.x and 5.x DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE! The Bluestacks team patched root exploit in their kernel to make Pokemon GO work with Bluestacks but Pokemon GO no longer work after 2 days. They really wasted their time.
Since version 0.9.0, I discovered an exploit to root Bluestacks (we can call it a semi-root) which allow you to grant root access without Kingroot and SuperSU, but the /system partition is Write-protected (R/O) and Kingroot wasn't able to root Bluestacks.
You can access /data without any problem. In following releases, the write-protection in /system partition has been removed, which means Bluestacks is pre-rooted (Exploit).
Without Superuser, some apps which requires Root permissions may not work thinking your device is unrooted.
Forget the BS-Multi-Tool and BSeasy, and the modded offline installer which have crappy Galaxy S4 settings app, and bloatwares. Rooting the Bluestacks now takes only 10 seconds to root and it doesn't need any external PC softwares!
If you don't like Kingroot, simply don't root to keep semi-root, or switch to SuperSU.
PLEASE READ!!! DO NOT TRY TO ROOT BLUESTACKS WITH SUPERSU APP. YOU WILL LOSE ROOT PERMISSIONS, INCLUDING LOSS OF SEMI-ROOT EXPLOIT.

1. Launch Bluestacks

}
2. Download Kingroot app for Android from here: http://www.kingroot.net/?myLocale=en_US
(NOTE: Some browsers blocks Kingroot from downloading. Add it to the whitelist, to prevent any issues)
3. Double-click on the APK file to install the app into the Bluestacks
4. You'll see the Kingroot app in the app drawer, open it.
5. Tap on "Root status failed" to begin the rooting process
6. Rooting will take 5-10 SECONDS! After rooting, you will see a message like this:
7. That's it. Bluestacks is now rooted.
IMPORTANT. Do not open any app which asks you to restart the device. Pressing restart will UNROOT Bluestacks and the good hidden semi-root exploit will be GONE FOREVER until you reinstall Bluestacks.
8. Test root access on any apps to see if it works.
9. Close the Bluestacks, and reboot your computer to take effect.
Now enjoy your 100% full root access on Bluestacks. You can finally use GameGuardian on Bluestacks to hack any offline games without the use Cheat Engine or similar external softwares!

Yeah, and i noticed that Kingroot have permission to use camera, pair with Bluetooth, etc... KingRoot isn't replying to my email after 2015 so i think they are doing something illegal

The APK has 8MB, unpacked it has 12MB, that is a huge app IMO for something so simple as rooting,
Also it requests every single Android's permissions, I don't see the point for that.

I actually used this method to root bluestacks on my PC. Worked perfectly. Was able to use gameguardian to modify some games.

Thank you for a brief description as to Ruth

Root InFocus M330 (And Some Other InFocus Devices) With SuperSU

Hello everyone, today I'll teach you how to root your InFocus M330 and maybe other devices too in this tutorial. I know that there are many threads about rooting devices but rooting this kind of device which has a locked Bootloader is very difficult. Although, the Chinese rooting tool iRoot works on almost any device but still, people prefer SuperSU more

Disclaimer
I won't be responsible if you brick your device. Although this happens very rarely but still, proceed on your own risk.
Note
Doing this will void your warranty.
------
So, saying this, let's get started.
Step 1
Go to the Kingo Root official website and download KingoRoot.apk (I know that this tutorial is about installing SuperSU but this step is very important to get that) and install it.
Step 2
Click on One Click Root and then it'll get your device rooted with the Kingo SuperUser app. Now, reboot your device.
Step 3
Go to this page and download the Replace_Kingroot_With_SuperSU.zip new version.
Step 4
Extract the mrw folder in your phone storage's root and then go download Terminal Emulator.
Step 5
Now, open Terminal Emulator and then type su then the Kingo SuperUser will prompt you to either allow or disallow the root access, select Allow. Then, type in the terminal sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh. Now, the script will do it's stuff and then it'll launch SuperSU.
Step 5
After it launches SuperSU, it'll ask you to Update the SU Binary. Update it using the Normal mode and then reboot your device.
Step 6
Voilà! Now SuperSU is fully functional in your device. But, the problem is that there's Kingo SuperUser still installed. To remove it, open Kingo SuperUser and then click on the three dots in the top-right corner. It'll open the Settings. From there, choose Remove Root (Don't worry, this will only remove the Kingo SuperUser, SuperSU will still be functional and won't get removed).
Step 7
After removing Kingo SuperUser, reboot your device.
Step 8
After rebooting, open SuperSU, now it'll again prompt you to Update the SU Binary. Just do it and then reboot the device again.
Step 9 (Optional)
Open SuperSU and then in the Settings tab, scroll down until you see Install SuperSU into /system. Confirm the action and then reboot your device again.
Conclusion
So, after a tremendous amount of reboots and following all the steps, this will root your InFocus M330 with SuperSU and then you can enjoy all the benefits of this awesome root-handler
So, that's all for today people, Peace!

Try installing SuperSU manually from Play Store.
Guys You can now root Infocus M530/with kingroot . And to make a backup of stock ROM , download 'Flashify ' app from play store.

[ROOT] One Click Root for Bluestacks 2

Hi there.
As you already know, Blustacks 2 has announced and it is amazing! Much better than first version! I know that many of you are already seeking to root it, so I'm going to tell you how to do it.
I tried Framaroot, Towelroot and KingRoot to root Bluestacks 2. Only KingRoot managed to root newest version of Bluestacks correctly.
All you have to do is just to download KingRoot apk from official XDA thread, install it on Bluestacks and run it. KingRoot will do the rest automatically.

Hey there! Thanks for the tutorial. I like using older versions of KingRoot because you're able to use various methods to change KingUser into SuperSU, however, newest version of KingRoot (which is the only one that works to root BS2, doesn't install KingUser in the same fashion that the older versions did. Any idea if there is still a way to get SuperSU up and running with the newer version of KingRoot? Thanks!

Bluestacks 2 Root
I tried to install SuperSU, tried several things, failed several times but it doesn’t work. There is only one option left to install SuperSU and that is through SuperSume app (Read Here). Just install it, open it, run it, wait for it (It will take some time). It will automatically uninstall KingRoot and install SuperSU after that. Once it’s done you are good to go.
Well, I've done all that to a T, but, whenever Super-Sume finishes, it DOES put Super Su on my Bluestacks. And, after I do the reboot for Super Su, it tells me the binary is out of date...
I haven't found an answer for this yet so hopefully someone can help.
I rooted Bluestacks 2 with KingRoot then removed removed KingRoot with SuperSuMe and kept root with SuperSu. After a couple reboots both Bluestacks and windows, I somehow lost Root in Bluestacks. Ok, no biggie. I'll just reroot using KingRoot again and replace it with SuperSu. Again, after a couple reboots, I lost root again.
Has anyone been able to keep root in BlueStacks and remove KingRoot?
i installed kingroot and rooted bluestacks but when i try to run xmod for games a message pop ups saying root your divice.

Root
With Bluestack easy it can be rooted
You should only change the files with the SuperSU 2.70 and use the su.pie
\Bluestacks Easy\input\Add\Root
inside I put
busybox 1.24.1
su (x86 su.pie)
Superuser.apk
Bluestacks Easy\input\Root
change su3 and Superuser3.apk
Bluestacks Easy\input\Add
libsupol.x86
supolicy.x86
I do not know if this is necessary or just the file in input\Root
Bluestack version 2..1.7.5658
other versions of SuperSU gave me trouble to update the binaries
I apologize if my English is not good
I have Bluestacks version 2.2.19.6015 . KingRoot works ,but every time i restart Bluestacks the root dissapears.I tried changed KingRoot to SuperSu with Supersume but the root still dissapeared when i restarted Bluestacks.
I would like to try to root Demicro's way ,but i don't understand everything he says. Maybe he can detail a little about where to get those files and with what to change.
how to root bluestack v 2.2.???
i m unable to root bluestack v2.2 by bluestack easy v3.5, as the filesystem of bluestack has changed from root.fs to root.vdi ( virtual disk image).
plz anyone help us to root bluestack v2.2
Somehow I tried that too in Bluestacks original and it did the same thing, I think because the system is virtual and that affects the rooted process, I rooted the bluestacks and it went successful but after I rebooted to use xposed framwork, after it reboots, it losted its root access, weird thing that kingroot detected it as a Samsung device. Peace

Even the kingroot app doesnt work. It is identifying my device as my phone which is Asus-T00J which i sold it away a few months ago. Do i have to logout from my google account for the kingroot to access the bluestacks?? because it always says "your phone is on the queue for rooting" or something...

How to move Magisk from a system app to a user app?

I'm trying this LG Spirit Resurrection Remix ROM and it has Magisk as system app which is bad apparently.
How to fully delete Magisk as a system app, so I can reinstall it later? I'm guessing I'll have to install a different root solution, but... which, and how?
Any help appreciated.
Remark: Android is rooted as soon as the SU-binary ( ~ 100 KB ) is present in Android's /system partition.
As long as Android is rooted you can try to convert Magisk app into an user-app by means of Link2SD app, what means it will get moved from /system to /data - where the other stuff Magisk installs is already located. Take note that system apps are granted the ability to request certain system-only permissions that are never available to user apps. This is not the same as su permissions
IMO the easiest way to get Magisk completely off your Android device is to simply uninstall it from within the Magisk manager app:
{

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",

}
for the record: what I needed to remove was Magisk Manager, not Magisk, and the only way was to uninstall/disable it then manually delete the .apk in system/app after rooting with SuperSU.
Thanks for helping jwoegerbauer

One have to distinguish between apps located in /system/apps and those located in /system-priv-apps:
Apps located in /system/apps are essential apps to make Android work: they basically are not granted system privileges.
Apps located in /system/priv-apps are 3rd-party apps typically installed by OEM ( e.g. launcher ) what are granted system privileges.
Knowing this it's obvious that uninstalling apps what are located in /system/apps at 99% will brick Android whereas uninstalling apps located in /system/priv-apps mostly will not harm Android.
Long story short: You can directly uninstall apps located in /system/priv-apps, they must NOT be converted into user-app before.

Do you start getting ads after rooting??

So i rooted a phone long time ago and i don't remmeber that after rooting you start getting ads on android, (i read this online ) mainly by apps like kingo root, king root ,etc, is it true?? So actually i want to root my phone again but i am not sure that will i get ads or not
On the homescreen or in certain apps only?
I read somewhere that
1. One-Click-Root
installs a proprietary superuser exploit. What does that mean? It means root control supplied by this app doesn’t work the same way as if you do your own custom root. The OneClickRoot app installs software that maintains a continuous connection to their servers, means
once rooted, the phone will stream you a continuous display of advertisements.
The ads are downloaded from that root-level server connection, and you cannot turn it off. If you had a standard superuser exploit, you would be able to fix the problem. But, with the OneClickRoot superuser, you can never remove the ads.
2. Kingo Root
like the app mentioned previously, nstalls a proprietary superuser exploit, too. Once again, this allows the app to maintain control over your device after rooting is complete, and that control is used to display ads.
It’s important to understand how invasive root-level ads are. They can disrupt any and every action you take on the phone.
Whenever the software chooses to hit you with another ad, it will, no matter what you’re doing. Because Kingo Root has ultimate control over the superuser exploit, you cannot remove it or the adware included in the package.
3. iRoot
like its competitors listed above, also installs a proprietary superuser exploit. Once again, this is a free app with a hidden cost. The root exploit designed by iRoot is used to bombard you with ads for the remainder of the phone’s life (unless you flash it). You cannot turn these ads off, and they are invasive.

Thanks for answering,
I also knew about the apps you mentioned but never knew that they really show ads or not , and i haven't tried dns menthod you told after rooting, i rooted my device some years ago, with kingo root but i don't remmeber it displayed ads (maybe it did, or maybe i fixed it) that's why i wasn't sure, but is there any proper way i can root my phone , jwoegerbauer already answered my previous question and so you might remmeber , i dont have oem options and fastboot isnt working (tried all possible ways mentioned in that query)
To root a phone's Android it's NOT required to unlock its bootloader before.
@jwoegerbauer
Ya i answered it in my previous question too, that to install root without kingo root (and such apps) and with a genuine method i guess you have to install twrp and abd then super su right , or is there any other way?
Also booting into and/or flashing TWRP to root Android is NOT necessary. Rooting Android is to add SU binary to Android's filesystem ( preferredly to get stored in directory /data/local/tmp ), nothing else.
This can be achieved by means of ADB.
Doing so doesn't tangent any of Android's safety features as AVB, SElinux, etc.pp
