[Completed] Does someone Know a way to unbrick my captiva pad 9.7 - XDA Assist

Hi,
I got a Captiva Pad 9.7 Super Full HD.
It has the Rk3188 Quadcore Processor.
Well, the Stock Rom was too slow, so i decided to install a custom Rom.
I found a cyanogenmod version which was rewritten for captiva pads.
I installed it but since then there is just a Black Screen with backgroundlightening, which means the Tablet
Is still alive.
Is there a way to bring it into original Form with stock Rom, because i dont find a Stock rom for my Device.
Thanks for Your help

Hi,
Thanks for using XDA assist.
I couldn't find any information on how to bring back stock ROM for your device. However, I would recommend posting in the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum as there is no dedicated forum for your device. Please note that in order to post, you will need to create a XDA account. However, based on XDA search, there is no known method to restore stock ROM.
Good Luck! - gsstudios

[Completed] [Q] ClicKonica Exclusive Mini Tab

Hi All
I have aquired a ClicKonica Mini Tab Exclusive which has become so unstable, I want to flash a new rom/firmware etc. to see if it helps. The problem is that I have no idea as to the firmware required, despite several searches etc.
The tablet in running Android 6.4v JB + Upgrade Ready, Firmware is Unknown, Kernel is 3.3.0 and Build No. is
Mini Tab_s785_dblgt2005_v1.0.12_20130627
I have opened the tablet and discovered an A20 All Winner Dual core chip, and I beleive this to be some sort of Chinese import.
I hope that there maybe a solution, as at present it is locking up contstantly.
I have to then factory reset through the 3 button process.
Thanks
Jason

[Completed] [Q] restore stock firmware to lenovo s6000H tablet

Lenovo s6000H tablet
I rooted my tablet for the first time yesterday and deleted some system files using titanium backup which did some serious damage. I could not use the calendar app, neither the system update works :crying:
To get everything back to normal, I did a factory reset and thought everything will be fine. But matters are worse now. My tablet now is worse, older software and it can't be updated.
How do I flash the stock firmware into my tablet?
My current build no is S6000_a422_101_022_131101_ww_sms
And software version is S600_130519
I have downloaded S6000_A422_101_016_130906_WW_SMS and the latest version of SP flash tool v5.something
But I have no idea what to do with these
I seek help.

[Completed] New user, need help with rooting and some other things.

Hello, I'm BloodDrunk, and newly registered user on this forum. Came here in hopes you can help me.
Ok so, I posses 2 android devices (one kindle, other samsung phone), and I need both of them rooted.
My first device is: Samsung Galaxy Core LTE SM-G386F. It has an android version which is: 4.2.2, and Kernel version which is: 3.4.5-2703877.
I have tried various tools to root my phone, but with NO sucess whatsoever. Every tool threw something like: The rooting was unsucessful.
If you could aid me in trying to root my phone, I'd be very grateful.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The second device is Kindle Fire tablet. It's serial number is D01E 0A0A 2235 00B9, and currently running version 6.3.4_user_4120720.
What I want to do to this device is, root it (which I am also unable to do whatsoever), and wipe it completely out, and load an Android ROM KitKat 4.4.2 onto it. I also tried various tutorials on the internet, and none have helped me in achieving my goal. I do not have original cable that comes with this tablet. I have already downloaded KitKat 4.4.2. android ROM, and Kindle Fire Utility, but I am simply unable to do anything with that utility since it gets stuck on that waiting for device thing.
I am really eager to root my first device, and second, and load android ROM onto that tablet because I need an android tablet.
Could you guys help me out?
Thank you for your time.

[Completed] Android 6 ROM for Asus Pegasus 2 plus

Hello, I have a new Asus_X550 (the Pegasus 2 Plus), running Android 5.1.1.
Since I bought it in China, there are pieces of it in Chinese, which I don't want. Therefore, I'd like help with *one* of the following, in order of preference (the best being #1)
1. Can I flash Android 6.* onto it? How?
2. Can I flash some other custom ROM? How? I checked, and it doesn't seem to be supported, at least not by CM. I've seen the one article all over the place claiming to do it, but I'm unsure of the legitimacy of the ROM given, esp since the download requires surveys and such.
3. How can I replace the Chinese app drawer and UI?
Thanks in advance for your help.

[Completed] How to upgrade my own roms android version?

Hi,
some time ago i bought a 50€ chinese tablet to mess with. It has android v4.0.4 on it and is very slow/ has a lot of useless stuff. In my attempt to educate myself on Android OS, I'm trying to build my own custom rom for it using this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801690
I'm at the point where I could repack my work and flash it to this tablet, but all i've achieved so far is simplified version (less random apps) of existing rom.
I want to update this tablet's android version but I'm completely unsure how I'm supposed to do that and google isn't being of any help as the search results are just bunch of those irritating blog posts that in nutshell just explain how to plug your usb cable into your pc.
No updates are provided by the manufacturer himself (duh).
Do I have to get desired android version's source code and integrate it with existing files or something?
Any help is appreciated.
