Lock Screen Clock Position. - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guys & Girls. I have a quick question. Now we have finally paid themes available here in Germany, have noticed many themes have the lock screen clock centered..... but for the life of me I cant figure it out. When I install a new theme the clock always ends up on the left hand side... have looked everywhere, xposed modes, googled and of course searched here on xda.
Am I totally stupid and missing something so simply, any answers to put me on the right track would be appreciated.
Many thx's & happy holidays

Hi,
had the same issue with that, cause i tried to center the clock on my s6 too. As far as i know, it is still not possible to center the clock by tweaking the stock tw ui and the only modules on xposed which would eventually center the clock just work on vanilla android only. However samsung has centered the clock in the beta version of mm by default... so if you want to use stock tw and no additional launcher, then you should go for the beta marshmallow.

[ROM] This is iQ22's iDroid Rom with just some added widgets!! 8-07-2009

Hey guys, I downloaded the new iDroid ROM from iQ22.
I like the Rom!!!
I also like the widgets from the newest JACxROM.
So what I did is:
I put the widgets from the JACxROM into the new Rom from iQ22 called iDroid
I then added a couple of games, ringtones, and notifications.
Nothing fancy here, I just thought the widgets alone would improve iQ22's new rom. Tell me what you think
Of course I deserve no credit at all.
I just cherish the opportunity to be able to post a rom on XDA Developers.
I added:
1. AutoRotate onOff
2. AutoSync onOff
3. Bluetooth Toggle Widget
4. Brightness Toggle Widget
5. GPS Toggle Widget
6. Lock Pattern onOff
7. Ringer Toggle Widget
8. Weather & Flip Clock
9. Weather Large
10. Weather Small
11. Weather Tiny
12. Wifi Toggle Widget
All credit goes to the "Pro's" JAC and iQ22
I plan on, in the future, doing a lot more work of my own.

This is the updated ROM with the camera, and camcorder apps working.

For those of you who like the Maxisma v2 ROM I added the same widgets to that ROM. Somehow it's probably the fastest rom I have run to this day.

Why is it the people think by changing the color, fonts or adding widgets and apps they can label it a new "ROM"
This should be in themes, wallpapers AND APPS
How should I label it? Honestly I dont know!!! I just thought the widgets alone would make the rom better. I will re-label it!!!

Hey its just my opion, leave it as it is and IF the MODS think it belongs somewhere else they will take care of it.
Its just one mans opion (mine) thats all.

good job. also i think this is the right section. most of the "new" roms on here are just regular roms modified with new themes, widgets, ect. no point in reinventing the wheel.
will look forward to the next rom you customize

I'm not sure how this can be labeled a theme.....
A ROM is a ROM, even if it's just modded.

Yeah I would not be offended if it was removed, or moved to a different area. I just got excited, my life in the last 2 months has revolved heavily around the android.
You guys are awesome
I just want to say that all the roms comming out just keep getting better. I thought I would be set with just iq22, so I flashed, and not even 24 hours later we get an even better version.
Thanks to all devs who make this possible

launcher pro is the best launcher ever, it can be exactly like vanillia android but is 1000x more customizable and powerful and free
.... did I mention it is free?
I guess I did
Though it's free there's a paid version (launcher pro plus) with more features. The most useful feature in the paid version must be resizing widgets ;-)
Regards Dousan...
I am also looking for this, I have tried Launcher Pro/ADW and lots of Gingerbread themes etc but I am always left with SE icons and not stock.
Anyone know the best way to get stock icons? (rooted and bootloader unlocked)

ohhhh.... yea nothing is going to help you with that except custom roms or some serious surgury of the apk's in /system and you don't want to mess with that I promise you.
there are some apps to change the icon link on your home screen, but in the app drawer it will still show the old icon. Not sure anyone is going to help you with that less a custom rom be involved

Widget Secure Lockscreen Customization

Hello!
First I'd like to say that I am new to the forums, even though I spent a good amount of time lurking around and reading all of the awesome articles of root customization!
Anyways, I tried to research this on my own before I made a thread to avoid clutter and repeats but I can't seem to find a good answer, so I thought I'd ask!
(If I posted this in the wrong forum, sorry!)
So what I have is an AT&T Note 3 rooted with towelroot (I'm still new at this so I can't say if this is "complete root"...?) running on NOVA Launcher.
I've been trying to customize my lock screen while secure but I can't seem to find a simple app for that.... Now mind you, I've tried WidgetLocker Lockscreen by TeslaCoil Software and I just didn't like any of the options it had... I liked the fact that I could add my "iHeartRadio" and Shazam widget without having to unlock my phone but I didn't like how it also made my phone feel "cluttered" if that makes any sense to anyone. Bottom line is, I didn't like it. (even though I paid the $5 for it... ._." )
So anywhoooo, I was wondering if you guys/gals had any recommendations for me? i've tried googling and came up short... and I've also searched the forums coming up with nothing.... Please let me know!
Sorry again if I may come off as unclear.
Bump

Thank you! But it seems that that module is currently not working for the Note 3 according to the OP. I'll keep an eye on the thread to see when the module is updated to support the Note 3.

It's working on my Note 3, just try it. Though you need to install Xposed Installer first. In case you miss it, I attach you the apk that I use
Thanks! Hella noob question but with no user interface, how can I customize the widgets I want in my lock screen? I have security to swype and have "multiple widgets" activated. I soft reboot my phone when I installed it.
Thanks for the help!

(Req) since xposed is now useless...

I figured the knowledgeable people here could point me to apps (that require root or not) that do things that xposed used to do but now can't:
•Slide on notification bar for brightness (not an actual slider just able to slide)
•lockscreen app targets
•edit quick toggles in any way shape or form
•edit nav bar height
•change recents button into a menu button and remove three dot menus
•advanced power menu options
any info is appreciated!
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app
I wouldn't say it's useless. The developer has stated if he can find a way to bring it to Lollipop, that he will. Rather it's just unusable for now.
Sent from my Nexus 5 on Lollipop 5.0
Lollipop just came out.
Its going to take time to get get custom roms and features rolling
Users need to stop with the [Request] threads. You want something bad enough, learn to dev and make it happen. MOD EDITED - BE RESPECTFUL!!!
Most of the things you mentioned have to be a system modification not an app. Check out the lollipop custom ROMs, some of them have a few of the features you desire. It might be a few months to get Xposed working if possible even. You could always revert to 4.4.4 too.

Perhaps you can share the apps you found so far? Im following your thread bro.
Xposed is just so good, it became a must in my phone. I want so many features from it and its modules too
I search for xposed at least 3 times per day and i didnt find any useful information but a reply of rov89 a month ago saying it was going to be hard to merge xposed to lollipop because of new ART runtime. So i find this post very useful as we can share temporary patches until xposed is released for lollipop.
* Intelli3G: Your internet is set to EDGE while phone is locked, but when you unlock it you get 3G/4G (until you lock)
* Lots of gravitybox features:
-change battery icon and clock position in the info bar ( percentage + circle battery!)
-flash activated when you pulse the lockscreen for 3secs (stupid ye but very useful for me)
* Burnt toast: that was so cool (show app icon in toast--> superSU permissions)
*App settings: so i can put safari in immersive mode
Cant remember more at the moment but if you know any app with similar features post them here please
For battery percent:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.kroegerama.android4batpercent
On Lollipop the percentage is visible even with full battery.
You know if Xposed doesn't come back I am kinda okay with it. Towards the end of Kitkat it seemed like any really useful app that came out needed Xposed to run. It was like as if app creators ran straight towards Xposed instead of using different methods. I know for some things you needed to be able to hack further than root allows but I would guess that a few Xposed modules could have achieved the same result through different means. I'm probably wrong though.
As well intentioned as this thread was, it still got almost completely derailed... Shame.
One feature I'm looking forward to is customizing the slides on Lock screen.
Dialer and camera shortcuts are great but I am so spoiled now.

This is a development site and as such keep this thread on topic
People are looking for alternate solutions while Xposed is being worked on to be ART compatible
So either contribute or don't post!

Is there any way to theme icons without a launcher? As far as I know, no launchers support Google Now (which I really like having as a screen), which is, unfortunately, my biggest deterrent. While devs adjust to the finer points of ART, I really, really miss my icons. ;_;

Are there themes yet that look like aosp?

I've looked around but couldn't find if there are any themes that make the phone look aosp. I'm on the fence right now between this and the G4. Google now launcher can take care of the home screen and app drawer, but want the menus and notification shade to look aosp as well. Possible? Last thing I need to know before pulling the trigger. Sorry thot, I should have specified a non root theme. Didn't Samsung open their theme store for user submitted themes? I'm going to be test driving the phone and I doubt they'd like if I returned the phone in 14 days rooted with the efuse tripped....
Oh no. Nothing like that. All samsungs themes are cartoon or hipster garbage or an outright advertizement.
