Couldn't find replacement battery and back cover - Nexus 9 Accessories

It seem like there is no way to buy a replacement battery for nexus 9 or the back cover. Is there any source for the purchasing?

http://bfy.tw/3RGR
http://www.etradesupply.com/htc/tablet/htc-google-nexus-9.html
https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Parts/HTC-Nexus-9

At both sites the replacement battery is out of stock. My battery has started acting very strange (tablet totally turns off around 20%, then when i plug it in battery is 100% dead, needs 15 minutes charging just to start up again).
I did quite a bit of googling but didn't find anything.

I have, it's not the charger. I'd simply like to buy a replacement battery but can't seem to find it for sale anywhere. Does anyone have any idea about where to buy one?

Bumping this thread. My aging Nexus 9 is in need of a new battery, but all the sites posted above show them as out of stock. Has anyone been able to purchase a replacement battery recently?

If anybody is still searching (or has given up already): I just got a new battery from here: http://bigupgadgets.com/battery-35h00218-00m-b0p82100-for-htc-flounder.html. You may find it from other vendors if you search for "35H00218-00M".
The printing on the back looks different from my old battery - looks like this is indeed a new part, rather than a refurbished/replacement HTC battery. It fit perfectly, and charged fine. I just installed it yesterday, so I can't yet say how well it performs long term.

Many thanks! I was able to order a replacement battery and replace mine. After about a week of use, I have not seen any issues. :good: Only complaint I would have is the slow shipping.

You're welcome! Yeah, I'm also quite happy with mine so far - it keeps the charge pretty well.

So how did it turn out? My Nexus 9 is going to become sort of a lab rat for full-scale linux development on the device so I'm considering replacing the dying battery as well. I could get the aforementioned battery for around 30€. If the battery works without blowing up and is the advertised capacity, that is.

It worked well, fewer slowdowns and crashes. That may be in part also because I fixed the location of the copper plate/heat sink that had been placed under the original battery (leading the heat into the device) to where it was supposed to be. Some problems that may be more related to the chip/RAM/64bit choice persisted (browser is still super slow with just a few tabs open). Not using it much these days except for ebooks, Hoopla, etc. When I don't use it for a while, I turn of the Wifi and the charge holds for many days. Good luck with your Linux endeavors.

Well all the other malfunctions are definitely NOT related to the battery, except if the old one maybe started to lack in persistent current delivery (which would cause the sudden shutoff - my Nextbit Robin had it as well and it would behave as if the battery wasn't designed to power the chipset, crashing at 70% charge). If something in the power delivery goes wonky then maybe that also messed up some memory addresses and CPU calculations.
But enough being a smartass - if the battery does hold up without life-threatening malfunctions then it might be a good option?

What I was trying to share is that the new battery (and its proper placement) fixed a couple of things for me that I hadn't expected to be related to the battery. So I got actually way more than just increased battery life. With some non-original batteries (e.g. for cameras) you see that the copies are definitely inferior to the original. This one was as good or better.
Of course that was two years ago - production standards may have changed, or you may get a battery that's been sitting around for the last two years (what would that do to a battery? - I have no idea). Mine's still working well after this time. I would definitely go for it, but I'd try to find a vendor where I can send it back if for some reason it's not working as advertised. I haven't heard of any of these batteries exploding, and really would not worry about it. Hope that helps.

[Q] Replace battery?

I've had my Note 10.1 for about a year and a half and the battery no longer lasts nearly as long as it did when it was new. I'm now having to charge it just about every day, if I use it at all.
I called Samsung. Of course, the warranty is only 1 year and I'm past that, so they gave me the # to their service center (RSI - Repair Services Inc). I called them and they said it would be $159 to replace the battery. I can't see spending that much. I asked if I could buy a replacement battery and they said no.
Do any of you know where I can get a replacement battery? And instructions on how to disassemble/reassemble?
I've completely disassembled/reassembled numerous laptops and a Galaxy Note 2 phone - and they even worked afterwards and had no leftover parts! So, I'm pretty comfortable in thinking I can do it myself, with at least a little guidance on how to get it apart (and maybe even without that).
Or, I would consider paying a service to do it, if it's $100 or less, if you know of one. Especially if it's local to the northern VA/DC area.
TIA!
So, just FYI, there's a kit with a video on how to do it here:
http://www.newpower99.com/Samsung_G...eplacement_Kit_p/samsung galaxy note 10.1.htm
That kit is $50.
But, Newegg has just the OEM battery for $33 (w/free shipping).
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA0890RC4649
The "kit" only adds the plastic tool for prying open the casing, and maybe a jeweler's screwdriver. I have that stuff and couldn't see spending $17 plus whatever the shipping would be for it anyway, so I have the battery coming from Newegg.
Woohoo!!

Let us know how it works out for you and if it is as easy as the video makes it look.
This is really good to know. I used to be a tech whore and had to have the latest and greatest of whatever, so if a battery was heading south I didn't really care because I never had a device long enough for it to matter.
I'm a bit more pragmatic these days though, and hang on to my devices longer, most likely because I just haven't seen anything compelling enough to upgrade to. When I saw the S4 and 2014 10.1 I was just like meh... marginal upgrades in my opinion. Still waiting for something to really knock my socks off
I'm still really digging my Note and want to keep it around. Thanks a ton for the info!
I finally got around to replacing my battery. I put in a new OEM Samsung one from Newegg.
The procedure was pretty much just like it was shown in that video on the NewPower99 site. I did the whole thing just using a set of jeweler's screwdrivers. A flat head for helping get the trim off and then a Phillips for the screws.
A couple of points:
- getting that first piece of trim off was, ummm, interesting. But, it finally came off, just starting from one end, and without getting boogered up from prying it with the flat head screwdriver. However, I think I got lucky, so don't be surprised if you try it and do booger it up a little.
- Once the top and sides of the back are pried/popped loose, the bottom comes off by lifting the back up and pulling away, from the top.
- Similarly, to put the back on again, slip the bottom into place by inserting the little hooks at a roughly 45 degree angle. Get ALL the hooks on the bottom in place before you start popping the sides down. Then pop the top in last.
- the ribbon cable connectors were also ... interesting. Maybe I should have rewatched that video before I did this. A magnifying glass probably would have helped. There are little flip-up bars on each connector to release each cable. I didn't really figure that out and ended up just pulling each of the ribbon cables (except the smallest one) loose without properly releasing them. I didn't figure out how they're really supposed to work until I tried to put them back together. For each one, you just flip up a little black bar that goes all the way across each connector. Then insert the ribbon edge and flip the black bar back down.
- I removed/replaced the battery without undoing the smallest ribbon cable. I wasn't sure how to get it loose and I was afraid of breaking something.
- After I got it all back together, it was working fine for web browsing, and running SpeedTest, but my email wouldn't connect and Facebook didn't work. I finally realized that the system clock was set correctly, but the system date had reverted to something like January 1, 2012. I manually set the date and then everything worked fine.
The only thing I don't really know now is if it's actually lasting longer on a charge that it did before. Too soon to tell yet.
Quick update:
It seems that my "new" battery doesn't last any longer than my original battery. I use Battery Monitor Widget and the original battery showed to have 5900mAh of measured capacity. The new battery only has 5800! I am in the process of arranging to return it and get a replacement. I suspect that the one I got was of old manufacture and has lost capacity just from sitting on a shelf. I will update that thread once I have obtained some kind of resolution.

When you get a new battery make sure you know the date code of the battery. They go bad whether they are in use or setting on the shelf.

5900 original capacity? Isn't it suppose to be 7000. At least for me that app shows 7000. I have also used my Gnote10.1 for about 1,5 years now and the battery still lasts as good as before, which is awesome in my mind.

Important things to do when you change the battery:
Clear battery cache (need root)
Do a several time charge cycles
Note:
Only clear battery cache right after fully charge then unplug from charger.
3 - 4 charge cycle would be enough (1 charge cycle = 0% to 100%)

Sorry I wasn't clear. My original battery which is now around 18 months old, was showing 5900 mAh capacity when I took it out. I.e. now that it's 18 months old. And the new battery shows even less capacity.
This is after 2 weeks of regular usage and several full charging cycles.

I did not clear the battery stats. I am rooted. I have had the new battery installed for about 2 weeks now and have had several full charging cycles. 6 or more.
But, if the new battery really had 7000 mAh capacity (or anywhere near that), even without clearing my stats, they should be trending upwards, right, not down?
Battery stat related problems have swarmed this forum since the dawn of android.
Many complained about lower battery life after switching ROMs & batteries.
Try 1 more cycle (deplete the battery then fully charge) then delete the battery stat & unplug.
Use the unit for your daily routines for several days & check again if the battery performance still go south.
FYI,my N8000 is around 1 year now & I've "abused" it almost everyday with very heavy usage (plenty syncs, fullday internet 3G &/or WiFi,Online & Offline games, music, Bluetooth, web browsing,eBook readings, notes taking & many more) that require me to charge twice a day.
Occasionally I let it rest to check the battery performance & I still get 14 - 18 hours from a single charge with still heavy internet usage for plenty syncs & web browsing only.
I'm looking forward to buy a replacement battery if this one is out of juice.

Got a 700mah off ebay and just ask the seller. The date code should be on the bat, just google battery date codes, their are many. It is worth the effort to get a good one.
Latest update: the Newegg partner that actually supplied the battery has sent me a replacement. The date on it is from 2011. I looked at my original Note battery that I took out and it is dated 2012!
I emailed the seller back and told them this replacement battery is not acceptable either and asked if they can actually supply me one of recent manufacture. They are checking and are supposed to get back to me by tomorrow.
Oh, and I did a full charge and wiped battery stats last week. It's had 2 or 3 full charge cycles and the "new" battery is still only showing around 5900 mAh capacity.

Well, it seems to last about the same as the original battery that I used for a year and a half. Which means I have to put it on a charger every other night or it will day before the next night. When my tablet was new (and I was really hammering the usage back then), I could normally go 3 or 4 days between charges.
Newegg just got back to me with this:
Okay sorry for the delay. But finally our vendor got back to us. The items are new. They may be old due to the year. Only because the tablets for the tab 10.1 released in 2011. Tab 2 10.1 and Note 10.1 released in 2012. The batteries are new. They were just not used. During the the time the tablets was released. The batteries were manufactured. They wouldnt be making new batteries. Since Samsung comes out with new tablets to make new batteries. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I will be more than happy to help Thank you and have a wonderful day!

So, they are saying that Samsung made all the replacement batteries for these tablets back when they manufactured the tablets themselves and they are not making new batteries for it any more. Effing LAME!

[SOLVED] EZOPower 1900mAh

Hello all,
So when I got my phone off eBay a couple months back, it came with a couple EZOPower 1900mAh batteries. They seem to work fine (except my phone may turn off when using the camera flash when battery is under ~60% - three pictures in a row you can pretty much guarantee it) other than that I don't know their condition.
Does anyone have experience with these batteries?:

I found this related thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1468559
It quickly became a discussion about Anker (only one reply was about EZO). Am mulling over switching to Anker, and I guess I am looking for justification for it. If there's a fair amount of life left in what I got, I'll hold off - I just don't know the warning signs to say its time.
I welcome opinions, stories, whatever. Thanks.
Don't know about these ones. I tried out the 2450 Gold batteries a while back and wouldn't go back. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41538260
Make sure you get Japanese-made not Chinese (check the photos).
As to the warning signs, I had camera shutdowns like you, cycling reboots, and other random shutdowns at time of processor stress. I had to reduce the max clock speed to ease the load.
Now all that's gone.

Just having the camera shutdowns, nothing else. I will try out the other EZO battery to see how it fares differently.
On a related note, I woke up today, took my phone off the charger, and did very little for the phone to be down to 15% in five hours. Took a few pictures, browsed a little, nothing serious. I attached my wakelocks and battery stats. The phone couldn't go into deep sleep whatever it was, and I could blame Auto pilot Mode for it, but Google Services did quite the number as well. Interesting enough I took a few screenshots.
Have since rebooted with the other battery. Will see how it goes.
Better day...
Edit: Just took three pictures in a row with this current battery life (33%). No reboots. This one is going strong.

I bought it over a year ago, and by the looks of it the vendor doesn't have them anymore. http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/elifegizmo?_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2754
Originally I looked for the ones that have photos that say "made in Japan" on the basis that then I would have a sound basis for returning them if they weren't! I've done a quick search now, and quite a few don't have photos, or say "made in China", but these two both say "Japan":

Not sure whether they're truly 2540mAh by the way - battery monitor doesn't think so. But they're much better than the stock battery, and don't cut out in the same way, so for me they've been a major step forward.

Yea I doubt they're much more capacity than what the stock battery reports (if at all), but fresh batteries can make a huge difference over a year old one.

David,
I think I'm finally getting that. I took my processor speed down one notch to 1458MHz. Everything is working out so far. Is there a lower speed you would recommend for this issue, or is 1458MHz sufficient?
Hoping the random shutdowns are battery related anyway ...

Actually I always use the frequency HTC shipped it with originally in Gingerbread - 1296. I've never noticed much difference in response in real life use, and the battery drain is so much lower so I get much better life. There's also a couple of threads around around suggesting that the really low bottom frequencies might be why some phones have wake-up problems. I've not seen those, but I tend to turn the bottom frequency back up to 192 as well. I really appreciate the options the devs have given us, I just choose not to use them...
Now Running Anker ...
Update ...
Even after changing the frequencies to 1296/192mHz, I was still having problems with the random shutdowns, although they happened less often. I put the EZO battery I had at the beginning of the thread back in, and that alleviated the problem. So I am just dealing with an exhausted battery.
I think that was justification enough to try the Anker. $26 CDN (and a week and a half) later, Amazon delivered and I swapped out batteries. I am now on day two, and after a full charge last night, it has been 11 hours at light/moderate use and I'm still at 84% battery life. I am doing very well I think, since with the EZO I would be down to 60-some percent in the same amount of time. I don't think I'll even bother with the charger tonight (should last all day tomorrow as well). Probably a good idea since you only get 500 good charges with the batteries anyways.
I even tested the camera, no shutdowns there (although the real test would be when the power is below 50%).
Leaving the frequencies as they are, no need to stress the device (and battery), for a little extra speed that I wouldn't really notice.
Good news. Hope it holds up for you.

LG G5 Extended batteries from third party sources?

Alright. Just like what happens with many smartphones, third party sources have started releasing batteries with a little more juice than the Original LG Batteries of 2800mAh. I have to admit it, i was kind of counting on it because it happens a lot of time. But how reliable could they be? Would NFC work with them? Will it make our phone explode? From 2800mAh to 3250mAh is 450 more juice to drain. Has someone tested it? I've posted the link and a couple of pictures.

Can you please also try the NFC feature if you have another phone with NFC capability? And also, whether the SOT improves or if it remains the same. and finally, in comparison to the other battery, how long does the phone last , based on your average usage (say: wifi on/off, usual brightness or auto brightness, etc. ) Let us know. Thanks
On my Thread I found one that has 3600mah found at AliExpress

I have the G4 and I'm sure you can find one for just 1 pcs
Here's one from brand TQTHL which I would trust as I have 2 for my G4 and both work great

I have tested for two day and although I haven't gotten any numbers to prove it...the battery works great. It does last longer with the same usage...but I wouldn't say that the difference is huge but it does have a little more endurance. I'd say that if you are looking for an extra battery...this is not a bad choice especially just to keep as a spare. Everything works fine as well.
Also...it may take a few cycles to get the battery calibrated...my first discharge I was disappointed because it dad extremely fast but after letting it run down and charging it a few times it seems to last a little longer than stock. I'll leave the battery in for a while and if I get time to collect screen on before I charge it I will.

I think one would see a real difference if it had 900mah ane up more than usual. I was kind of expecting for that though. Hahaha. But i have the feeling they will release an eveb bigger one. Something like 4000mAh+ but you have provided us with great detail. Thank you. If you have the SOT in the future feel free to provide if
I doubt we will see anything much larger in the same size. Batteries have limited capacity/cm3, and LG, being one of the best and largest battery manufacturer, maxed out on that value. The problem here is the physical size of the battery cell...

They managed to do that by replacing the back cover with their own "case", including an extra-size cell. The G5's different battery removal mechanics make it a lot less viable option, especially adding the bottom module (which houses not just the USB connector, but speakers, microphone, and some antennas) as a cost.
My original comment was directed at the allegedly 3200/3250mAh cells popping up for 5-10$ a piece. There's a reason why official LG cells are 25$, and these after-market ones cost less than half of that. Sure, LG needs to cover the development costs, but I'm pretty sure the after-market ones are so cheap mainly because of corner cutting. And that comes with extended hazard. But if you feel like ruining your 600$+ phone because you went cheap and paid 10$ instead of 25$ for a battery... It's your call.

They could create a module similar to the Cam+ that has an 'extra' battery in it. Maybe slimmer but further up the case.

I have been following the forum site for lg g5 modules development and untill now no one has has stepped up with the idea (no one that would have the knowledge to start building a module for the g5 at least)

Check out this thread I did for the Sensation (ages ago). It's not relevant to this phone, other than to say that you'll recognize some of the labels:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1753726
The TLDR: Actual mAh was was tested reliably (external discharge, outside of the phone) and batteries with the same label style as the two linked in the OP actually had roughly 30% and 50% of their stated capacity, and much less than stock.
I've got a G5 coming this week. I wouldn't be against doing another thread like the one I did in 2012 on the Sensation, if there's demand.
I have this one coming, so i will let you all know what i find. There seems to be mixed reviews, and even my Stock Battery had to be calibrated up/down charge for 3-5 times before i had good life.

The mixed reviews are in part my fault. I'm one of the reviewers with that battery and for some reason Amazon will not post my updated review, I've tried 3 different occasions to post follow ups but they won't post.
What I learned with that battery is it works, only it does give me the invalid battery message and the phone shuts off but only if I reboot the phone at 100% battery life, upon booting the phone reports 50% charge and shuts off. You have to restart it a couple times until it's used a percentage or 2, then it boots fine. I emailed the seller about it and they responded with the cells are tested and they only use quality parts, they sent me another battery but that one does the same as the original. With the issue with the note 7 and other phones/chargers I stopped using the battery. It might be perfectly safe but I can't determine that and the risk is not one I am willing to wait and see. Here's a link to another topic here on XDA where I responded about this battery.

So, after the first full charge and discharge to 11%, I'm getting very good times better than stock. This will probably increase with a few more charging cycles. My opinion is this battery is definitely more mA. I will review more when later.

OEM battery

Hey guys I replaced my 6p battery with an eBay unit that's clearly not an oem replacement. It does the job so far however whenever I'm outside in the cold this thing drops to zero in a matter of minutes. I'm thinking it's probably because it's a cheap Chinese knockoff. You guys know of any places where I can source an OEM replacement battery
Thank you

I wasn't able to find one. Ordered several that said they were OEM but when they arrived they were some knockoffs. Huawei ended up replacing mine despite being out of warranty.
I haven;t been able to find a genuine battery either. Some randomly turn the phone off. Some have no temperature sensor so there's potential for overheating. One of them wouldn't charge past 93%. On the positive side, I am a pro at opening this phone up now. Kind of miss having 2 extra batteries that I could swap into my G3.

Funny...I saw that one just earlier today. The thing I found interesting is that the sticker on that "OEM" battery looks a fair bit different than the sticker that can be seen when a 6P is disassembled...so that smells a bit fishy to me personally
Just bought this battery from amazon,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IOJSN3E/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
ive been playing music and its been holding charge more than the battery that was in there.
i will let battery drain zero and then charge it up and see how it holds up. It came charged at 33 and after 30 minutes of use its at 30 % ..
im excited to see the results, the battery was $13 USD and got delivered in two days, came in a yellow bubbled envelope and the battery was in a little box that said nexus 6p
one thing i noticed was that the flex cable was running from the bottom of the battery as opposed to the OEM that ran on top of the battery, it sits well, but honestly i did see a gap in size. the OEM battery actually filled in the whole compartment and the after market one left some space. i attached it and now im using the phone outside in the cold (im in Riverside CA) and its raining outside, and it seems to be holding up..
opening the phone wasnt hard, got the needed tools from a local dollar store, phillips precision screw driver, a hobby blade kit and it was super simple to open.

Will be interested to hear your report back after some continued discharging and recharging and seeing how it holds up. My battery life is manageable still, but it certainly isn't great lol I just don't know how much I want to open this thing haha
So after draining the battery a couple of times I'm charging it it would seem that this battery is holding up very well definitely holding up better than the battery I had before. This is still happens from when I charged it from 0 to 95 it sticks at 95 and doesn't move from there up until I disconnect and reconnect the cable but after that it does charge up to 100..
On Accu battery the battery reports at 97% health but I'm sure that the difference is probably off due to calibration. One thing that does puzzle me is the capacity that the battery is reporting the capacity that I see even though the battery is a bit smaller than the original battery is reporting 5413 mAh . I'm guessing that after a few more runs it would fix the capacity amount because it doesn't seem right. Yesterday I didn't notice that the phone got very hot in the matter of minutes while laying down on the counter charging at first which kind of worried me because I have never had that issue with this phone before. The phone is working way better than it was before and I could have got it sent out to Huawei and got replaced but I wanted to fix the battery issue as I grew fond of this phone and would not trust a replacement phone to make up for this one. Opening up the phone's very simple I found it surprising that it was so simple as it just takes a hobby blade and a playing card a debit card to slide under the battery and patience I was done with the process in about 15 minutes at the phone running and the battery was charged at 32% I will report back periodically but I honestly do believe that this battery is of good quality and definitely does hold up 2 what was advertised

Does the battery temperature change or is it a constant temp? Sounds like one of the batteries that I tried. It would stop charging around 95% too. But it had no, or non-functioning temperature sensor that read a constant 25 degrees. I deemed it unsafe and disposed of it.
Now that I think of it, you're right. Its at a steady 25 degrees on mine as well

They probably used a resistor in place of an actual temperature so the circuit would give a false reading instead of no reading at all. That's disturbing because fast charging uses the battery temp to adjust it's charging speed for safety and longevity of the battery. And it says a lot about the quality in general and what other protections were omitted. Having said that, I think the chances of actually having a problem are low. But even that was too high a risk for me.

If there is no, or circumvented protection circuitry to prevent overheating and shorts, which it appears there is. Then the worst that can happen is thermal runaway followed by venting flame at 1,000 degrees. Similar to the Note 7 or hoverboard videos you may have seen.

yeah to manually set what the capacity is supposed to be
the higher one i'm speaking of is after charging it. that's the capacity it calculated, but that's been changing every time after i charge up, i left the house today at 10:30 and took the phone off the charger then, right now at 2:34 pm Pacific Cali time i am at 73% on L-OS Rom,
i had noticed that CM based roms always drained faster than stock roms, so im running this rom to see the longevity of the battery life on this vs stock to finally come to a conclusion on battery quality after i run stock

Cool. Thanks for sharing your results. I am currently in RMA hell with google and my 6p. They keep sending me refurbed phones with original batteries. My OG which was manufactured in December 2015 had 95% battery life and the ones I have been receiving have been 72% and 84%. Currently waiting on the 3rd one. Hopefully a reliable OEM aftermarket option surfaces JIC.

General question about doing a RMA with Huawei...do you have to send your phone back first and wait several weeks to get it back or will they send you a phone first and you have a certain amount of days to send your old one back, or else you get charged the full value of the phone that was sent first?
thanks!

Is my phone done for?

My Nexus 5 is more than 3 years old, and I think its planned obsolescence is kicking in.
Its battery life right now is about 3 hours, less with intensive use. I've tried buying a new battery, and even tried it with a fresh stock rom, no apps installed, with similar results. It makes sense to it draining so much battery regardless of the conditions? (I won't post GSam screenshots, since the same happens in these different scenarios).
I mean, I LOVE my phone, I can't think of a worthy replacement for good old Nexus 5... but I can't go on with 3 hours of battery life. Has this happened to any of you? What should I do?

I'm sorry to hear this! I just went through HELL and back to get my nexus 5 back working.. (replaced LCD/Digitizer, USB flex cable, Battery, installed chroot and adb/fastboot on chromebook to flash TWRP and root)
It's an AWESOME device. I would suggest getting a decent battery replacement and look at battery management apps or maybe a battery case? If my phone could be used on Verizon, I'd swap out my Galaxy S6 for the Nexus 5 in a heartbeat..
Best of luck!

I've in fact searched for battery cases, and good battery replacements, but being it a discontinued device is kinda hard (almost impossible). I've bought a battery claiming to be "official", still very bad results. For the case, the only battery case I've found available is this one, and it's a bad chinese battery: https://es.aliexpress.com/store/pro...r-Case-Free-Shipping/1267012_32683454756.html
Besides, I'm from Spain, so any usa store probably won't send to my country.
Any recommendations with this are appreciated!

Some of us have bought a battery replacement in RepuestosFuentes. Here's the direct link. They run out of stock from time to time.
As I said, mine is from there and it's working fine. Also, it has a recent manufacture date printed on it.
I still love my Nexus 5. Recently I paid around $13 to get the battery replaced at LG Service Center here in Bangalore, India and now the phone is back and running. Installed AOSP 7.1.1 and it's running as smooth as 6.0.

Actually, I'm not so sure a new battery would make things a lot better. Thing is, any battery attached to my phone just drains extremely fast (maybe some hardware issue?), so... replacing a new internal battery can make things better, but not much, since it's a internal battery.
The ideal solution would be a good battery case, so I can add that to its normal battery. But, as I said, I didn't find one that seems trustworthy for sale right now.
