i cant enter recovery mode with my HTC branded G2. generally, when you press power+home ,you should enter recovery mode, but it wont work on my phone,no matter how long you holding these keys. you must power the phone and enter the fastboot mode and then flash recovery.img once more,at the end G2 reboots to recovery mode automatically.i‘v searched for a long time ,got nothing can help.anyone here got the same problem?
here is some information:

Do you have ADB on your computer? If so try using adb to get into recovery as such.
adb remount
adb reboot recovery
This method has worked for me when my phone seemed bricked and was hanging on a bad rom flash.

quick question, im guessing you have to have already flashed the recovery.img to get into recovery mode? because when i tried to flash the recovery.img and cmd kept saying "remote: image update failed" or something like that.
now i believe my device is bricked, wont turn on , or show LED light,.
I am using Galaxy ace Plus GT-S7500, I rooted my phone successfully and used for 2-3 months, today i did factory restore with formatting internal sd card (usb storage), after that phone rebooted to CWM recovery mode automatically and can't boot to OS... then i find this solution on xda website
" [HOW-TO] Unbrick your Transformer Prime (or not) --- Option 1a
Don't be afraid, your Prime should be recoverable. This is the good news. The bad news is, that you need quite some knowledge of ADB.
To recover your Prime (most likely) you need the following:
A working ADB setup (please google that if you don't have it, "tutorial setup adb" or something like that should do the trick)
The USB-Cable to connect the Prime to your PC
A few minutes time
Now do the following:
Make sure your Prime is in Recovery mode (CWM)
Open a cmd line on your pc
Type: "adb shell"
You should see a "#" now
Once you have that "#", please type: dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4 bs=100 count=1 and press [Enter]
Now type: dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 bs=16 count=1 and press [Enter]
Exit the shell and reboot your Prime via CWM
It should not reboot to CWM automatically now. It either boots your ROM or is stuck at the splash screen. If it is stuck, boot to recovery and install any ROM you want."
after this i rebooted from CWM, then my phone stuck at the splash screen and can't switch off from power button, then i removed battery directly and reinserted and tried to switch on... nothing happens... then i come to know that MY PHONE IS DEAD.... SWITCH ON NOT WORKING, NOTHING HAPPENS IF I TRY TO SWITCH ON.. ALSO TRIED SWITCHING TO RECOVERY MODE, DOWNLOAD MODE - DOESN'T WORKS.... ALSO NO DISPLAY WHEN I CONNECT THE CHARGER...
PLEASE HELP ME SIR :crying::crying::crying:
if you can put it to ftm mode then you can flash rom using odin.i don`t remember how to enter ftm mode.use search in this forum i you will find the answer,or use google.good luck.
That's your own fault, read the guide you used. It clearly says TRANSFORMER PRIME, not Galaxy Ace Plus. You've likely overwritten the bootloader, a fatal mistake. Your only point of call now is maybe a jig, or more likely, just send it back and say something happened

I had the same problem when I first time rooted the phone. This comes sometimes when you unplug the USB cable in bootloader mode or with adb connection. Why power + up and down? Just hold the power for 15 sec (at black screen) after try turn on. If doesnt work, put the phone to charger and leave 3-4 hours and try again. This always work for me.

Hello, reset phone made, but the phone stays on the written ACER.
If I remove the battery for a long time then you start and I always have to enter the data, country, language, etc. but the home screen is no longer visible, only works the drop-down menu and then from there I can give the settings.
I have to throw away? I hope not, it's a nice phone ...

Hello,
Recently I flashed a CWM file for 'Lava Iris X1' found on this site for my android 'Lava Iris X1 Grand'. Now my phone is stuck in a bootloop. For some reason i cant enter recovery mode even before my phone was stuck in a bootloop. I am not sure whether my phone has USB debugging enabled or not. I rooted my android with KingRoot before all this happened. I have downloaded your Minimal Adb and Fastboot but it cant find my device.
Overall problem:
1) Phone Stuck in Bootloop
2)USB debugging enabled ? Not sure
3) Can't enter recovery mode
4) ADB wont find my device
Note : When I used Minimal Adb and Fastboot, I typed 'fastboot devices' and some numbers appear:
0123456789ABCDEF devices
but when I used the command 'adb devices' my device is not shown:
List of devices attached
I have a backup at my phone through the Flashify app but since recovery mode cant show I cant recover it. I also need a some flash recovery images.
Please help me out here. I don't know what else to do.
Thank You in advance
Fixed
Nevermind guys, i was able to get my phone out of bootloop using SP Flash Tool.
Now all I have to do is restore IMEI.
