Hi!
First sorry for my bad english
This guide will help you unbrick the Acer Liquid E600
I'm not responsible for any damage to your device so you follow this guide and flash these files at your own risk.
This system dump is the latest 4.4.2 Kitkat (Belgium) without stock google and acer apps.
The all of stock apps are here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B...9rR0pYUldFX3pPSlVkUllfVGljMWx6a2Y3M2d2QUxTNE0
Method 1 CWM backup: (easy)
WORK WITH UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER!
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byr5wBifihDyQUVsT2dGT29xeVU/view?usp=sharing
Download the E600 Backup.zip, unpack and copy the clockworkmod folder to the root of external sd card.
How to boot cwm: http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/acer-liquid-e600-root-disable-secure-t3081777
Boot into cwm recovery choose the backup and restore - restore from external sd - 1970-01-01.00.09.11 and done.
This rom backup is fully rooted with modified boot.img
Method 2 Fastboot:
Requirements:
- Acer ADB/Fastboot driver https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B...loMzBHcXo3dnJDUnFRZnd4VDRYSkJtN19XbkpyS2ZoTHc
- Installed ADB http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
- Factory Images
> boot.img https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Byr5wBifihDyNTQySURNdW9DUDQ
> recovery.img https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Byr5wBifihDyZ2RuOEl3Y1lVYW8
> system.img https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Byr5wBifihDyRUhoTnRBdUtFcVU
Steps:
- Install the correct drivers and ADB
- Copy the image files (system, boot, recovery) to your ADB folder on PC.
- Turn your phone on in fastboot mode (press volume down button + power button at same time) When the Acer logo appear connect the phone to PC.
- Now open a command line in your adb folder and type these commands:
fastboot devices
If you see your device on the list (like fastboot abcd1234) go to the next step. If not check the drivers.
fastboot erase boot
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot erase system
Push the system.img:
You need CWM and Root! http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/acer-liquid-e600-root-disable-secure-t3081777

Then copy the system.img to root of external sd. Leave your phone in fastboot mode and type:
fastboot boot cwm.img
Your phone will reboot in recovery mode
In recovery menu go to 'Mounts and Storages' and mount the /system
On PC open the Device Manager and make sure your phone on the list "Acer ADB Interface". If not, update driver manually.
now back to command line:

If you get the error 'no such file or directory' try this:
dd if=/storage/sdcard1/system.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p16
"this will a long procedure because the system is 1,2GB"
finally do a factory reset and reboot
Stock apps: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B...9rR0pYUldFX3pPSlVkUllfVGljMWx6a2Y3M2d2QUxTNE0

I had the same problem when I first time rooted the phone. This comes sometimes when you unplug the USB cable in bootloader mode or with adb connection. Why power + up and down? Just hold the power for 15 sec (at black screen) after try turn on. If doesnt work, put the phone to charger and leave 3-4 hours and try again. This always work for me.

Hello, reset phone made, but the phone stays on the written ACER.
If I remove the battery for a long time then you start and I always have to enter the data, country, language, etc. but the home screen is no longer visible, only works the drop-down menu and then from there I can give the settings.
I have to throw away? I hope not, it's a nice phone ...
bootloader mode & boot to android OS is not work
My situation is no bootloader mode and reboot into android OS it will crash and black screen again and again
It is seem only qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 (comX) still work ,
but qpst or miflash that done't have hex or mxx

Hey All,
My Dad's Xoom died over the weekend - 13months after purchase so is not covered by the warranty. He was browsing a site, it came up with a "Internet is not responding - do you want to continue to wait" message and he clicked Wait - after a second the tablet knocked off. It will not come on by pressing Power and only turns on by pressing Power and Vol +
It gets past the Motorolo logo screen and the device starts the boot animation, about 20 seconds into this it freezes and reboots - this continues in a loop. It's been GEDified and was running the last OTA update 4.1.2 - no root etc.
I can get into the stock recovery and performed a factory reset - but the same thing happens. I've also tried Update From USB with an OTG cable but the screen just shows Choose a package to install and under it has /sdcard but nothing else. I have a dummy zip on both the Flash disk and SD card so it's not reading either.
I've also tried to perform update via ADB - when I select it and connect to a PC (Win 7 32bit) it tries to install drivers but I see In Computer Management that it shows under Unknown. ADB Devices returns List of devices message but nothing under it.
I've also selected the fastboot command at boot, tried fastboot devices and the command does see the Xoom.
So my questions
1) Anyone seen anything like this issue before and know how to fix it?
2) Is it best to try to reinstall the ROM? If so, how do you suggest I can see it with ADB?
3) As I have Fastboot command, could I try to install CWM and see if that sees a ZIP on the sdcard - so I can install a new ROM.
Any help much appreciated :good:
so...I've just done a fastboot oem unlock
and then tried to flash the CWM recovery using the fastboot commands - no errors, press reboot and go into Recovery but still getting Android system recovery 3e :crying:

So just to add to this, I found the stock recovery.img, boot.img, userdata.img and system.img and used the fastboot commands to send all to the motorola - all succeeded without error....still the same problem though.
I installed RSD lite and tried a few SBF files but I'm getting an INI error - off to google possible solutions to that now
I update the phone SKU = TW to WW, in the process of updating the device stands at around 30%, which does not run on the next stop. I waited over 30 minutes still the same and I reset the phone and the result is brick, just boot up black screen and USB symbol, on the discovery fastboot recovery lost.
sorry, my english bad
my zf4 stuck on usb mode too. do you solve it?

My asuszenfone5 had usb logo lots of time, when i tried to update to kitkat. You need to try several times power+ vol up (1sec after) since the device has a power button unresponsive. Then just follow the tutorial people told you. Get usb drivers from microsoft(on win8 must give program installer compatibility mode on XPSP3 and administrator previleges to install it properly)In my case i would have batery logo/usb logo several times before getting access to boot mode (10 min attempts So keep trying dont give up. Its an excelent phone but with power button unresponsive/. The same thing happens while you try to wake up phone after deepsleep mode.

I tried to follow this, but every time the it finished the sideload, I still get an error which says "assert failed : greater_than_int (getprop("ro.build.date.utc").1392739......, and then the installation got aborted. I can't access the internal memory cuz I believed my phone was bricked and when opening the phone, I was just stuck with the loading screen and not getting through.
Got this problem when I tried to update my phone to kitkat. The installation got stuck at about 30% and tried to reset it and now I have this problem.
I appreciate it if someone will see this and reply to me. Thanks

I've received a message log fom MFT, it says that the xml might be not totally correct or well parsed..

My problem:
I had a temporary CWM installed on my Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML 4gb/32GB and without thinking, installed an OTA update form 2.20.40.63 to 2.20.40.90.
My phone booted to the Asus logo with the loading circle and got no further.
Sadly I did not have USB debugging enabled at the time so I cant detect it in ADB in recovery mode to sideload.
I have tried to copy firmware to my Micro sd and load from there but my phone has never recognised or mounted SD cards so that is out of the question.
As a last resort I tried flashing the Boot.img, Recovery.img, droidboot.img and system.img, now it wont even get to the asus logo without coming up with and android logo with a red triangle above it, the same logo that comes up when I now try to enter recovery mode.
I have recorded a video of the process I followed to flash the zfone, but cant post it here as this is my first post, but I think I can send it to someone through messages
What am I doing wrong and how do I get my phone back?
Any help would be hugely appreciated, and keep in mind Im a bit of a noob so set by step instructions would be awesome, Thanks guys
Update: the original .img files i used were apparently already rooted, so I am now extracting the 2.20.40.90 firmware from the official Asus site and I will try to flash with those.
but I cant find the system.img inside the UL-Z00A-WW-2.20.40.90-user.zip and was wondering, do I need to take out the Boot.img. droidboot.img and recovery.img then turn all the existing files into a system.img?

Ahh thank you, sorry I didnt really know where to post the question
Fixed my phone!!
Ok guys, so I figured out what I was doing wrong.
I preformed the flash correctly with pre-rooted system.img, but I didnt wipe the cache, as soon as I did, my phone booted to a normal rooted device!!
If you want to do this yourself, download pre rooted versins of these files (easy to find with a quick google search)
Recovery.img
Boot.img
Droidboot.img
System.img
ADB tethered launcher (not needed if your phone can enter recovery mode)
and place them all in a new folder (lets call it zenUnbrick)
Boot your zenfone 2 into fast boot mode, then connect it to your pc
(Hold volume up button and power button, when your phone vibrates let go of the power button and continue to hold the volume + button until you see the fastboot screen)
Now hold down shift + right click inside the zenunbrick folder and select 'open command window here'
When that opens, run these commands in this order. Wait till each one finishes and be aware that the (fastboot flash system system.img) command takes quite a while to work its magic, so be patient and dont turn off your phone
fastboot flash fastboot droidboot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot reboot
when your phone reboots, it will most likely still seem bricked, but do not despair!! this is where you open up the ADB tethered launcher, although if your phone can enter recovery mode then you dont need this program
Option 1 - If your phone can enter recovery mode
Boot your phone into fastboot mode
use volume up and down to select recovery mode and use power button to select
wait for your phone to reboot
when you see the broken android symbol, press volume up button and power button simultaneously
select wipe cache and wait (it takes a while)
select reboot now
Your phone is now unbricked and rooted!!
Option 2 - If your phone cant enter recovery mode
Boot your phone into fastboot mode and connect it to your pc
open ADB tethered launcher
type 'ACCEPT'
when it loads type 'T4'
wait for your phone to reboot
select wipe cache and wait (it takes a while)
Select reboot now
Your phone is now unbricked and rooted!!
I have a Koodo LG P500H. I am having a very hard time installing TWRP.
Firstly Play store doesn't work. It has this old thing called "Market" that has some apps, but not all. Market eventually gets updated to Playstore, but I can't even find TWRP manager. There was another app in the Playstore that I tried called ROM Manager. It said it installed TWRP for me. I restarted the phone, and nothing happened.
Restarting and Holding power/volume down/home will show a picture that seems to be some sort of recovery mode. But it only run for 1-2 seconds before the phone restarts itself. Nothing happens.
I tried to use ADB. But after rebooting the device it just restarted without ever going into recovery mode. So the flash command just get stuck at "Waiting for Device." Does this phone even have a recovery mode?
This phone doesn't support Odin.
I am used to using TWRP. Without it I cannot flash the phone into new OS.
And every single time I fail, the whole phone seems to have reformatted. So I have to enter in my wifi password and gmail again. All of that typing on a very small keyboard takes a lot of time. I had spent hours on this phone without getting TWRP working.
Please help.

The problem is when I reboot into fastboot (adb reboot bootloader), the phone will go into "phone off battery charging mode". It never actually goes into the bootloader.
Ok I did the following and it seems fastboot and TWRP works now. Be sure to enable USB Debugging on your P500.
1) Fastboot tutorial (I did everything here. I hit "ok" on the LGMDP 1.5 tool as needed. Do not wait till the countdown timer goes to zero.)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15122833&postcount=100)?
FastBoot Tutorial
1. Please download this (or from here) file and unzip it in to any folder.
2. Start LGMDP 1.5 tool with the phone connected (you need to have USB drivers installed) and click on Select Port
3. A separate window should appear like the one below
Just click connect
4. Another window will take shape (LGE Mobile security) with lots of options (links)
Click on the first upper right Browse and select the folder in with you have unzipped the files. You will get some errors that some image, table or headers are missing. Just click OK and in the end everything that should remain selected is Partition Table, APPSBL Image Header and APPSBL Image.
Now just close the window (click on x)
5. Now you are back on the main window and here you'll have to click on Download
6. You are almost done and from now on everything should go on automatically.
NV Backup
Autorestart in Emergency\Download mode and upgrade the files (you selected on step 4)
NV Restore (the last step) Do not disconnect the USB cable until the restore is done
Wait for the phone to restart in normal mode (your current rom).
That should be everything you need to do to get fastboot enabled.

2) Install PdaNet+ (This was the only thing I did in this tutorial. It fixed the usb driver and the fastboot can then communicate with my PC.)

http://pdanet.co/a/
(Note: On top of Partition Table, APPSBL Image Header and APPSBL Image in step 4, I also selected the TWRP image file as my RECOVERY image. Not sure if this make a difference. )
(Note 2: I think you can also get the LG drivers here.)
3) Restart, hold down power + home to boot to the fastboot. Or in ADB type adb reboot bootloader.
4) Open ADB (while phone is still in fastboot mode) and type fastboot flash recovery twrp.img (after downloading the TWRP image, renaming it and moving it to my ADB root folder. I am using TWRP 2.8.0.1 here.)
5) Type fastboot reboot
6) After the phone restarts, type adb reboot recovery. TWRP runs for me. Power+Home+Volume Down (3 button combo) also works now. (Previously this would reset the phone.)
Hey Man, im glad it worked. I could use your help.
I bricked my phone and need the restore file, Do you think you could make a backup from TWRP and upload it?
I would be super grateful.
Thank you.
Here is a zip with CM11, twrp 3.0.2.0 and Gapps for CM11.
Its the best rom I found.

Hi. What is your "brick" like? Does your TWRP still run? If yes you can just copy a custom OS into your Microsd card and install it from your Microsd.
You can also use ADB push to move files from your PC to the phone.

Sent from my MT2L03 using XDA-Developers mobile app
If you TWRP doesn't run, you need to install that first. Do steps 3 and 4 in the above post to boot into bootloader and install TWRP.
Code:
TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! This could brick your phone. It shouldn't but it can. If you brick your phone, or anything stops working on your phone, YOU are responsible.
Reboot combinations:
Fastboot: Shutdown and with USB cable hold power and volume down until it says FASTBOOT MODE at the bottom
Recovery: Shutdown and with USB cable hold power and volume down until the
Code:
Please release key to power off *
dissapears.
Unlocking Bootloader
Code:
Note: This will delete all user data! Backup all your data before doing this!
This part of the guide is part of the tutorial made by @Arin59 at https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-3/how-to/method-to-unlock-bootloader-nokia-3-pie-t4012285
First of all convert your serial number (should look like NE1*************) to MD5 Hash and enable OEM Unlock in developer options.
Then reboot to fastboot and type
Code:
fastboot oem key {HASH}
then type
Code:
fastboot flashing unlock
.
To reboot to Android, run fastboot reboot.
Installing TWRP
Code:
This will delete your user data, but it should be already deleted.
You can use any TWRP image made for this device but I had the most success with https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-3/development/twrp-teamwin-recovery-nokia-3-t3762512 .
Flash your TWRP Image chosen with
Code:
fastboot flash recovery your-recovery-image.img
and then reboot to recovery.
In TWRP go to Wipe and then Format Data and type yes.
Install Magisk
Install Magisk normally.
< waiting for device >
I put the phone in fastboot mode and ran fastboot with the oem key md5 hash command but it just said "< waiting for device >". I think it might be because I forgot to install the Nokia 3 USB drivers. I'm using a linux computer, do I need to find OS specific drivers?
edit: And now my phone is stuck in fastboot mode and for some reason will not shutdown no matter how long I hold down the power button for.

If you're using a linux computer, you should try running the command with sudo.
If it doesn't work, try with another cable (or computer if it doesn't work) and try again.

Thanks. I've since got it working. For some reason I had to use the -i argument (the interface argument) along with the code for the device (0x2e04) "fastboot -i 0x2e04 <command>".
However, I've recently bypassed the "NO COMMAND" screen and gained access to TWRP custom recovery but in trying to shut down the phone, it shuts down fine but only boots up in fastboot mode. Even using the fastboot reboot command from adb tools boots it up in fastboot mode. This is a problem as I need to boot it in its normal mode so I can download the magisk.zip file required for installing magisk but I seem to be unable to do so.

Thanks, it worked.
Though I tried wiping, but it didn't solve the booting issue. Unsure how to proceed at this point. I feel like I've tried everything. Actually, I just checked my /boot folder and it's empty...is that why it's always booting into fastboot?
I tried using adb to sideload the magisk.zip file but then the phone rebooted into stock recovery??
Any and all guides on this say to download the magisk.apk either into the SD card or internal storage, but I don't have a micro SD card and I can't access the normal mode of the phone to download anything.
What can I do?
I've flashed TWRP successfully but forgot to download the magisk.apk. Now whenever I boot up my phone, it boots into stock recovery mode automatically, even if I tell TWRP to reboot into system it reboots into Stock Android recovery. I can still access TWRP by holding down the up + power buttons on boot though, but I can't access the normal mode of the phone anymore.
I tried using TWRP's sideload feature with ADB tools to sideload Magisk.zip and it said it succeeded but in using TWRP's install feature to find the zip file, it wasn't in /sideload/ or /storage/ as both were empty.
How can I temporarily restore normal functionality so I can simply download the Magisk manager.apk?
