Sure, it's just a placeholder, but they've been on Twitter recently saying some time this month, and this wasn't there yesterday.
I need me a Surface case!
I used the Seido Surface case on my previous few phones (Nexus 5, Galaxy S3, and HTC Thunderbolt) but sadly for the 6P i'll be sticking with the spigen rugged armor simply because Seido took way too long to put something out.
I don't see anything.

That's the point, it's a placeholder for the Nexus 6P, which suggests that they have a product in the pipeline for it.

I might get one to add to my review OP depending on which models they release
I have been (not so patiently) waiting for this. I love Seidio cases, and will get something. Hope the Dilex is one of the first released.
Need it bad, with holster! Phone is to big for my pocket. I have had seidio for all of my phones. Rock solid!!!
Seidio makes a great product. I've had their cases on all of the phones I've had.

I've had Seidio Surface cases/holsters on my last two phone and I really liked them. I hope Seidio brings them out for the 6P. I contacted them last month and they replied that they would have a case out this month. Tick Tock, Tick Tock....
Well, the Surface in red, black and blue are now available and shipping. Combo (with the holster) and the bare holster are coming soon. So if you want the case alone, you can get it today.
You're linking to the wrong page, they have the Surface available now: http://www.seidioonline.com/mobile/Category.aspx?id=9674

Can anyone come out with a belt clip that's not ugly as hell?
It says that they are using a new design with a tpu inside the polycarbonate. I wonder if that will help with the accidental scratching that some users have reported when sliding the case off of other models?

Thinking about getting one of these because I love having a kickstand but most kickstand cases seem to be bulky and/or ugly. Still concerned this will have a lot of thickness, can anyone compare how it feels to perhaps a Spigen case? I have the Spigen Rugged Armour and love it except the lack of a kickstand. Thanks.

Be interested in hearing your thoughts on the Surface/holster Pilz.
I had one for my Droid Razr and really liked it, but got tired of waiting on Seidio and bought the i-Blason. It's working out pretty well so far.
I may still get the Seidio, but I'd like to hear how the holster/clip handles the larger phone.

Problem with the kickstands from Seidio is that they don't put them in the middle and they don't make them flush. I've complained about it for years but they never change it. Why does this matter? With the kickstand that far down, your phone tips over if you hit the table it is on, or if you tap your device on the opposite side. Even worse, since the phone doesn't lay flat (the hump holds that side of your phone up), it often makes your orientation flip to portrait when you are looking at it landscape.

Agreed, took way too long, too few color options, and they picked THIS case instead of the Dilex? From what I've read lately their holster clips are still extremely fragile, so I'm still not going back.
I ordered mine, received it today and having issues. When the bottom piece of the outer shell slides on the screen goes dark. Cannot turn it back on. If I slide off the bottom piece it comes on, when it slides back on it puts the screen back to sleep. If i take a stand alone magnet and put it up to the back of the phone where the kick stand would be it turns off. Thinking there is a design flaw. Gonna call Seidio tomorrow. Kinda sucks I've been waiting for their holster for a while now.
Edit: Definitley a design flaw, I found this on Google's Nexus 6P help forum:
"I have found there is a magnetic sensor in the Nexus 6P to detect when the folio case cover has been closed so as to lock and turn off the screen of the phone. The sensor is located in the bottom left corner when looking at the front of the 6P. I found that this sensor also reacts to a magnetic field applied to the back side of the Nexus 6P in this same area (bottom right corner when looking at the back of the 6P). Herein lies the problem... When trying to use Android Beam through NFC by holding the back of the 6P to the back of another device, a magnetic field from the other device (the speaker perhaps) can trigger the magnetic sensor in the Nexus 6P, causing the Nexus 6P to lock and go to sleep before the NFC sensors have aligned. Both my OnePlus One and my Neuxs 7 2013 will put my Nexus 6P to sleep if I don't hold them carefully enough when trying to align the NFC sensors. Can anyone else confirm this? Why does this sensor also pick up magnetic fields on the back of the phone? Is there a way to disable the magnetic sensor if not using a folio case so this does not happen when trying to use Android Beam?"

Looks awesome and I've already present ordered one from a website. They are pricey but well made. Plus they make the best holsters. Unfortunately i wasn't able to order the holster for it from the site i purchased from, but will the day they come out. Out of all of them, the red looks nicest to me with that anodized look it has, but being military I cant wear a phone in uniform that isn't black or grey.

Yes, jay above you had it already and he hates it. It's kinda of a touchy subject with him lol. But I never bought a surface case for my devices because I hated the way they have to put on. Kinda like taking off sweats before a shower after working out lol.
But I have active cases for my Sensation, which is my wife's phone now, my Nexus 7 and before the N7 I had one for my Kindle Fire. They are all well made. Even though there's a chemical smell like it was fresh off the mold lol, it dissipates within a weeks time.
I for one can't wait for the Active combo. I love the holsters as well. Right now I am using a Gnex Seidio Surface holster with my diztronic ultra thin shell and it works, but doesn't seat to my satisfaction.

FYI, The surface holster for the Nexus 4 works with pretty much any TPU case. I tried it with the I-Blazon and the Diztronic, and both work great. If you nee to go "thin" but want to use a holster, it does work.

Sadly yes, the Active does not allow it for wireless charging. But I intend to use the Active case on travel. Being it airplane or train, I will be using the kickstand on those trips. And when I am traveling, I am not bringing any of my wireless chargers, so wireless charging would be a moot point.
For day to day use, I use the Cruzerlite XDA case at this point with the Surface holster, so I am good at this point.
A lot of people here might not like to hear me say it but the active can mess up your phone. Not the actives fault... I'd say its the crappy chrome bezels fault. Its pretty easy to get particles under the silicone on this case. It has great impact protection but I did get some scuffs on the bezel above the speaker after using it a week straight. Also somehow the magnet from the kickstand or something with the case pug some strange hazing that won't go away on my rear wet apply screen protector. Something to watch out for. The marks are square in shape etc. I'm hoping it will go back to normal after some time but it doesn't I can just buy a new screen protector for the back. Back to tpu with the surface holster for now.

Anyone have experience with a Ballistic Shell Gel case on a previous phone? I know it isn't available for the N4 yet but I'm torn on getting that or the Seidio Active. I don't care much for the kickstand so that's not a huge deal for me. I'm also guessing the Ballistic case won't allow wireless charging either since it looks like it has similar construction/thickness to the Seidio Active.
I think it's the metal kickstand that prevents the charging, not the extra thickness.

Comparing my ballistic galaxy nexus to the nexus 4 with active, the ballistic is much thicker! The silicone on the ballistic is thicker and so is the hard plastic. You need the convert holster if you want to use a holster with the ballistic. I have no doubt it will be an awesome case but it will not let you wireless charge.

Hello all,
I've always only had the Otterbox Commuter as my one and only case for phones, and with them being so slow to get out the color I want for the S4, I was wondering if I should keep waiting for a bit longer or go with another choice like the Incipio DualPro or Seidio Active. I don't have any experience with either of them, so I'm wondering if anyone who has used them can shed some light (both good and bad) on them.
Thanks.

Incipio Dual Pro is horrible. Fitment is off and constantly slips on an end, exposing the screen with no lip coverage. Luckily it was free from the ATT store for me, but i wish i chose a different case from them. I ended up ordering a minimalist JL case from amazon anyway.

Consider having a look see at the Casemate Toughcase if you like the otterbox, its actually less bulky while providing better protection for the phone. I'm very surprised this case doesn't see more play here becuase its a truly good case and I get people asking my out of the blue what it is and where I purchased it. I've got probably a dozen friends on it now and I did nothing to convince them, they mauled and pawed at the case for a few and were sold. If you are of a mind you can quickly pull up a few reviews on youtube of the case.
I've been using the Seidio Active case for a few days now. I used a 10% off coupon I found searching Google and it came out to $31 shipped. I bought the one with the grooves for your fingers. Also has a kickstand. I pull out the kickstand when holding the phone and put my ring finger under the kickstand so I have a good hold of the phone and my thumb can reach more of the screen. Kickstand also comes in handy with the smart stay option so the screen won't turn off when I'm reading. It is easy to take on and off so I can get to the battery easily. All the proper cut outs are there and are lined up perfectly. Complaints - When typing or pushing the menu / back key my fat fingers will hit the edge of the case. I just have to work on using the tip of my thumb. Depending on the angle of the phone you may not be able to see the notification light. There are covers for the volume and power button which took some getting used to but I can now hit them without looking.

How well does that case work with a glass screen protector?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
I have the Incipio Dual Pro Carbon now as my temporary case. The rubber is constantly coming off from around the lip. You see the silver when this happens. Not a huge deal but in a drop it won't be that good. Also the silicone grabs a little bit of lint.
Seidio active... I have it on my Nexus 7 and had it on my Note 1.... Huge lint magnet, OLD OLD design, silicone can be warped and won't lay flat in some areas.
Otterbox Commuter.... I will order one of the colored models when available. Buttons were terrible on the S3 but it seems to have an improved design....Putting the case on seems to be better than the S3... Overalll good design.
I also ordered the Cygnett Workmate... It seems to cover the issues from the other case and offers better grip... I will know in a couple of weeks.

The edges of the case do come over the top of the device to the screen side but this is only the softer inner portion of the case and I'm thinking it would work fine but I do not use screen protectors so I'm not certain. You can see it pretty clearly in some of the youtube videos of the case so you should be able to make a call from that. A link is here ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l3X7Oxgx5I and the same fellow reviews several others which might catch your interest as well.
I've included a couple pictures that show something you cant see there. The one is of my year old S3 case next to my brand new S4 case. Notice how the thing still looks new? The other seems like kind of an oddball picture but what you are looking at is the largest portion of the soft inner case and the thing to notice there is the lack of lint. While these do catch a tiny bit of lint it is very little as you can see there. I did not clean the case up, it went from my pocket to the drawer after my S4 got here.
On my S3 I have had my phone in that case directly alongside a friend who had his in a commuter case and we both agreed that this case felt better in the hand and it had a more premium feel. It also has better grip but does not hang in the pocket. He in fact is one of the people I know who ditched his case and got the Casemate instead. Now I've obviously not seen the Otterbox for the S4 yet but it appears much like the Casemate counterpart to be pretty much a rehash and I would expect that they will compare similarly again.

I bought mine (Dual Pro) at a TMob store. I totally disgaree regarding overlapping screen. It TOTALLY protects the screen via it's superb fit overlapping. Plus it has a nice "feel just holding it'. Used to have a Body Glovefor my S3. The bodyglove was on the thick side and it just didn't have the same tactile feeling when holding the phone. Mine is black with Grey...IOW two tone. Only saw it in a TMob store. Solid colors online from this link.

Man, that is some kind of funky back they have there. How does it feel? What is it?
And you said that Casemate offers better protection than the Commuter, any links to vids/proof to this? Cause if that's true, then that's a great deal. It looks like it is as bulky as the DualPro. Lastly, how are the colors with the Casemate? Got sick of all black, and that's why I've been looking elsewhere while waiting for the Commuter colors. Thanks.
Incipio DualPro
I purchased my Incipio DualPro from an AT&T store ($35 + tax) just to have something to protect the phone while I figure out what I really want as far as a case. I went in to get the cheapest thing they had but really liked the look of the fake carbon fiber which looks even better in person. But, the silicone layer is so loose and floppy that even with the stiff Plextonium frame:laugh:, it won't hold its shape leaving the bezel exposed where the fancy named frame isn't. This case had the makings of a winner.
Love this look:
Hate this:
Returned to AT&T store today!
The outer shell is plastic. It has the appearence of the knurling you see on a ratchet handle for example. In person it looks good and has a better feel than that of the Otterbox counterpart. The bulk of the case is about the same as the commuter, it is designed for protection and those who would avoid the Otterbox commuter for that reason would want to avoid it as well. That said it is slighly less bulky than its commuter counterpart because it is thinner.
As to protection there are no sure proofs, no 1000 phones dropped and here is the absolute numbers, test. You have to look at the case and make a judgement. The casemate clearly covers the corners better and has a better fit which combined with what are visibly better materials means you can pretty much figure your phone has a better chance than it does in the commuter. There is no sure thing. I had my S2 and then S3 both in the same case for those phones and while I haven't dropped the S4 yet I did have occasion to drop both of those several times and neither suffered a scratch although again no case will protect against bad luck.
In regards to the colors, I've no idea. I always go black so have never looked. Best bet might be to check the case out in a store. Its popular enough that I noticed our AT&T shop here had some on the shelf for S3s. Or if you have a case kiosk at the mall they will likely have one and you can check out the material yourself. Casemate has many other cases but I have no experience with them. I was Otterbox all the way till I ran into the toughcase which just plain out commuters the commuter at its own game. IMO
Looking at the dimensions of all the products, it looks like Casemate is the bulkiest, with Otterbox second, and Incipio DualPro the least bulkiest.
The one thing I'm not a fan of the Casemate from the pictures is that there seems to be more open exposed areas, especially at the top.
I ordered the Dual Pro case and have been waiting for it to come in.... I bought the Body Glove Dimensions case from the T-Mobile store just to have something on it until the Dual Pro case came in...The Dual Pro case looked really nice in the store but I want the white and gray one that they didn't have.. Now I'm hearing all the crappy reviews about the Dual Pro case and I'm having buyers remorse...Maybe I will get one from a good batch that will fit like a glove...UNLIKELY!!!! Anyway the Body Glove Dimensions case feels really good in my hand and looks nice however it doesn't protect anything just nice and slim.

Im not sure where you are getting your dimensions from but I can tell you from actually having both in my hand with the S3 the toughcase is slimmer. Since it appears that the Commuter is a reboot with a few minor changes just as the toughcase is for S4 I'm pretty sure you are going to see the same thing again. Also the only openings on the tough case are where the IR and headphone jacks are and the same applies on the bottom where there is no opening other than the two ports there. The Otterbox possesses exactly the same openings in their case and then unlike the otterbox the casemate piece does not have the wide open corners which are the single most likely spot for the phone to hit in a drop.
lol Sometimes you just cant let a favorite go, I do it myself. Either way you're getting a good case that stands a real chance of saving your overpriced ludicrously profitable for Samsung device so its all good. :good:

You do have to remember that those that have problems are usually the ones that take to online to complain, so just take all the amount of bad stuff with a grain of salt.

:silly: I think on the corners, they both go about it differently, Otterbox has the silicone there, and casemate has both, with the plastic outside. Bet they both have their own science reasons for doing it that way lol.
I'll wait it out a little while longer before deciding. I think my biggest concern about the casemate is that I won't like how the textured back feels.

Mine does exactly this.
I just saw that UAG (urban armor gear) is going to start shipping their cases soon.... might have to look into them now :/
Never had a one piece polycarbonate silicone case before.
I used a Diztronic TPU on my Galaxy Note 3 so I was very happy to see a preorder on Diztronic's website for a full matte version for the Note 4. I preordered on Nov.16 and received the case on Saturday.
My impressions of this case are very positive. The case is slim and fits the phone nicely. Mine shows no bulging or loose edges. The matte TPU does provide some screen standoff on the front side. I measured this at 0.75mm. Mic, headphone, USB and pen holes align nicely and the buttons retain a nice tactile feel with this case. I use a Verizon Note 4 and can confirm that the case I received DOES have a slotted left side mic opening to support the Verizon Note 4. The button covers are molded into the TPU but have pronounced edges, so they are easy to find without having to look at the phone.
I use the YooTech wireless charging receiver insert and the Diztronic TPU fits nicely with this receiver in place. I do not believe it would fit with the factory wireless charging back as the case fits perfectly to the stock phone. The case does have a small raised ridge around the camera lens and small ridges around the speaker. This gives some protection for the camera lens and keeps the case from "sealing" against the table and muting your notification tones. The area around the flash is open and I am able to very reliably get heart rate readings for S Health, something that isn't easily found with many thicker cases.
The TPU material is quite thin. Diztronic's website says 1.6mm and my measurements seem in line with that number. The case does not add much bulk and for sure feels slimmer in the hand all-around when compared to the Spigen Slim Armor I had been using since I got the phone. I'm sure it won't provide the kind of protection that the Slim Armor does, as the cushioning material is thinner, but it sure does feel nice in the hand while offering some level of protection over a bare phone.
One of the things I really like about this case is the matte finished TPU. It feels smooth and slick in hand and does not show much in the way of fingerprints. The matte finish slides easily in/out of your pocket. Diztronic made a good move by relocating their branding to the side of the case, which adds a little bit of grip and keeps the look super clean overall.
Overall, I'm really impressed with the Diztronic Full Matte TPU case for Note 4. It provides some protection for the phone and is a little more grippy in-hand than the bare phone. I like that the screen stands off a bit and the camera lens is somewhat protected. I also appreciate that the full matte finish doesn't collect pocket lint or gunk and doesn't show much in the way of fingerprints. And it looks classy!
I really like the Note 4 as a caseless device. It feels very slim for its size and feels great. Unfortunately, I know I am going to inevitably drop it at some point and want some protection without making the phone too bulky, which is really easy to do. The Diztronic Full Matte TPU feels like it hits that sweet spot for me. Time will tell, but for now I give it two solid thumbs up.
:good: :good:
I purchased this case direct from Diztronic: LINK I expect they will probably be available via Amazon shortly. They are currently showing as available on Diztronic's website in both matte black and matte grey.
Updated to include Verizon mic confirmation and pics attached.
Does it have an elongated mic opening for Verizon users? This is the case I've been waiting for...always a favorite.
Absolutely loved mine for my previous phone. Best TPU cases imo. Looking forward to seeing your pics.
I'll probably pick one up even though I might opt for a more protective case this time around.

Yes, my apologies - I thought I had called that out but must have lost it when editing. The Diztronic Matte TPU DOES have a slot shaped opening which supports Verizon Note 4. My Verizon Note 4 is shown in the pics I've added above.

Thanks for the update! I just ordered one. I've had a Diztronic case for my last 3 phones and have been happy with all of them. I'm sure this one will be no different.
thanks for the review! i've always been iffy with diztronic, yet i seem to get one per each phone i have just to have one lol..
out of all the TPU's i use, they're always the most bulky which i dislike, because i like them thin..but there's NO good note 4 tpu's out there whatsoever. i'm currently using a clear S line TPU, which is good and all, but the mic holes don't line up perfect, and it doesn't fit as well as it could..plus it's clear, and we all know clear starts looking like crap after a few weeks. i've gotten like 4 other TPU's and shell cases and I hate all of them.
diztronic is nice because they do a lip around the camera, which NO tpu's are doing right now, which means your camera is pretty much flush against the surface which i hate...and they also have two little bumps by the speaker to elevate the speaker off the table so it's not muffled! FINALLY, a TPU maker with some sense knocked into em!
either way, i ordered the gunmetal gray because every diztronic i ever got was always black, so i'm looking for a nice change. ordered today, they say those ship out tomorrow the 26th, so maybe I'll get it by saturday or monday with thanksgiving coming up and all. this will be like my 6th or 7th case already for the Note and I've only been using 1 lol
Does it fit with the OEM Qi back?

I don't find the Diztronic bulky at all. The Diztronic for the Note3 was very rounded feeling, where the Note 4 Diztronic is more squared off and edgy, just like the Note 4 itself. I think you'll like it and the holes line up nicely as pictured above.

As noted in my review, I do not believe it would fit with the OEM back. I say this because it fits relatively snug as-is with the stock back or stock back + thin Qi receiver. But I don't have an OEM Qi back to try it with.

but yeah, my gunmetal gray one is coming saturday! you know what's sad? this one wasn't even out, it was a pre-order, and i'm STILL getting it quicker than this nillkin bumper case i ordered on ebay from Nov 11th. it's from china, yet it's still not here yet. other chinese orders i've gotten took a week, maybe 1.5 weeks. it's over 2 weeks now for this stupid thing and i doubt i'll see it before the diztronic lol

Haha, what's up brother? I really liked my diztronic on my laggy as hell S4.
So I'm hoping to like this one as well. Good luck bro!
Diztronic makes the best TPU cases as far as I'm concerned. I was disappointed when they had to delay the release due to the Verizon mic hole revelation, and ended up going with a UAG case, but anybody looking for a great case for under 10 bucks, this is what you want. I might even pick one up for myself, just in case.
Diztronic is awesome. I had their case on my Note 3, LG G3, and now I'm waiting for the Note 4 case that supports the OEM wireless charging back. They made one for the S5, I really hope they make one for the Note 4!
I ordered mine today. It is only 12 Euro, together with shipping to Ireland, directly from manufacturer's page.
Already have Spigen Capsule and it is great, but flat buttons and flat speaker hole are not perfect for me. Diztronic seems to meet all my requirements. Hope it will appear to be true

I forgot to post yesterday, but I got my black Diztronic yesterday, a day earlier than estimated. It is the best case I've tried so far, although I haven't tried a lot yet.
The fit is perfect, not too loose or too tight. It adds almost no bulk which I really like. The matte black is awesome and feels great in the hand. Not super grippy, but it will do the job. All of the cutouts are perfect. The camera has enough raise that the lens won't touch a flat surface and the charger fits in without the case interfering. The buttons are also very easy to press, no problems there. In fact, the buttons are easier to press with this case on than without it.
The only thing I noticed is that in a couple areas, the frame moves pretty easily if you pull on it. Especially near the charging port. It doesn't sag at all which is great, but I just wonder if it will become an issue over time. Possibly not but that's the only small thing I've noticed so far.
Other than that, this case is fantastic and blows away any Spigen that makes your phone uneccesarily bulky and for less money.
I do also have an official Samsung protective case coming that is supposed to ship next week. I've heard that's also an amazing case, so I will compare once I get that.
I didn't take any pics of my Diztronic since so many great pics have already been posted. But let me know if you would like to see any.

i don't know man i buy this moko case every year expecting the worst and it always manages to impress me. pretty damn good case. also works great with the skintomi tempered glass screen protector. as an added bonus, the cutout for the fingerprint sensor is very large. doesn't interfere at all

That is what I ordered. It should arrive tomorrow. I'm a fan of the TGSP/Skin combo so a universal case like this is my preference. I find those combo cases too bulky for my small hands.

I am a long time Otterbox Defender user, but am considering the LK and MOKO cases you listed. I also am really interested in the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro. There is this I-Blason Prime Series as well. Also Seidio say they are working a case, but have not said what model.
I ordered this Story Leather Belt Clip Holster when I need something stylish and use the phone bare or with a simple skin. Now if it would only get here after 2 shipping delays.

the i-blason is just about identical to the moko, but the one for the nexus 6 last year used a plastic that i found to be VERY slippery in my hand. i tried it for about 2 weeks and didn't like the feel at all. the supcase is interesting, but i don't need an integrated screen protector. would rather use a nice tempered glass solution
one addendum to the moko (and i-blason) that i forgot to mention earlier...it still has this design issue where it's made for left-handed people. the phone attaches to the belt clip in the opposite way that a right handed person would use it. it's definitely not a show stopper, but it's annoying. i'll use it for the next couple of weeks and report back, but aside from this it's quite solid so far

I really like the Supcase but too bad it has a built in screen protector. Hate those things.
^^^
Just punch the built in one out and use a TGSP. That's what I do. Perfect.

I got this one for now, emergency purchase. It is terrible. REALLY bad. The kickstand isn't bad, but only 2 corners are protected by hard material. Hard to get in and out, and worse, as far as I can see you can't push the volume buttons because it is flush with the hard plastic they made the holes in.
---------- Post added at 10:40 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:39 AM ----------
BTW, the iBlason Prime looks much better, and a clip holster instead of a slide one too. Very nice. Just wish it came in other than black.
---------- Post added at 10:49 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:40 AM ----------
And double wow, just saw the Moko one in the colors and the volume issue doesn't exist. And a snap in holster? Purchased. This should get me through for now. I'm returning this other one I linked.

Technically it rotates so it can be used vertically or horizontally. Though using it horizontally might be a bit annoying. Horizontal ones are my preference but since this is a big phone a vertical one would be less awkward and feel better for me. I got the case in today. I'll let you know when my phone comes.
after a couple of days with the moko case its...ok. it is 100% absolutely designed for left-handed people, which is annoying. also, it takes quite a concerted effort to both unclip and clip the phone into the case. most of it i'm sure is due to being right-handed, but it's also a function of the fact that the part you insert into the holster first has a pretty tight fit. also, the really soft rubber has quite a bit of give when inserting and removing which is also annoying. feels like they could have used some less compliant rubber here. idk it's ok for now i guess.
i've ordered various normal cases (spigen, ringle, diztronic) as well as the seidio iphone 6 plus holster (new version) to see how it works based on the reddit post. that guy never responded, but from his pics and from looking at the specs of the various items i *think* these cases would fit in the holster fine. my only concern is the part where the spring clip touches the phone. it's going to be very close as to whether it rests on part of the case or on the glass of the phone itself (which would be a no-go for me). we'll see...

Would you happen to have come across what the difference(s) are between the 2 generations of the iPh6+ Surface holsters?
I'm still waiting to hear back from them.
Contemplating getting the first gen holster to use with Ringke, then eventually the Crash Guard or Play Proof.

does anyone have the supcase holster combo yet? i'm wondering how soft the rubber is compared with the moko. the moko is way too soft imo. it keeps basically trying to slip off every time i remove the phone from the holster. supcase looks a lot sturdier
also, if anyone's interested, my seidio iphone 6 plus holster is arriving thursday, which corresponds to when both the diztronic and ringle cases are supposed to arrive. so we shall see about that...

Ringke Fusion + iPh6+ Surface v1 holster = no go... at least not that well. The phone is too tall (flipped both ways). The latch is propped open about half way.
Going to test out my buddy's N6 Surface holster in a few days. Failing that, might have to just go with the full 6P Surface solution if they ever come out with it...
that's pretty shocking. isn't the ringle a pretty minimalist case? i don't have much experience with ringle but i would imagine it can't be much taller than the seidio surface case. the nexus 6p is nearly identical to the iphone 6s plus, there's like a 1mm difference in height. hard to imagine this would cause what you're describing. unless...maybe that's what the seidio revision from v1 to v2 was about? to allow for additional height for some reason?

Upon closer inspection, there are 2 "feet" on the bottom/back side of the case, about 1mm thick. This is causing the phone to not hit flush bottom of the holster. About 3-4mm gap from bottom of phone to bottom of holster.
Even if it were to sit flush bottom, it's still 2-3mm too tall.
Width-wise it's a nice fit.

I have the Seidio N6 Surface holster. I used it with my N6 and the Supcase hybrid for the last year. I tried it with my 6P, and same thing that the 6P is too tall. the hinged latched it also propped open (N6P with the Ringke Fusion and the Supcase Hybrid)
I can't seem to find a sturdy case (like the Otterbox) for the 6p. I like the Spigen (Rugged Armor) and the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle case but they just don't offer the protection I'm looking for. I saw a possible alternative by i-Blason and a few others but there seems to be an issue with the case where it reboots the phone or it won't let you take screenshots. I drop my phone way too often and the 6p is big and slippery to begin with. So do any of you guys have any good sturdy alternatives or know of Otterbox will ever make a case for the Nexus 6p? Thanks!

I have the I-blason case for my 6P just like I have for my Note 3. While I can take screen shots but sometimes I have to make 2 attempts. My problem with the i-Blason is that my hinge connecting the top piece (the one that covers the screen broke off so not there is no solid connection between the top piece and the piece at covers the back of the phone. I am still using the top piece to protect the face when it is in my pocket or in a bag containing other things like keys.

Hey thanks for the reply! How sturdy is the case overall and how long did it last before the hinge broke? Was it normal wear and tear? Thanks.
While not available until next month, the Rhino Crash Guard & Shield will provide better protection than virtually anything else out there.
My advice would be to preorder it now, and get something cheap in the meantime. That's what I did.

You're very welcome! It is very sturdy thanks to the hard plastic spine that supports the rubber piece that into which you place the phone. I have the i-Blason case for my Note 3 (2 years no issue) but with that version, the piece that covers the screen connects to the other piece (containing the phone) by sliding over rather than by the latch that 6P version uses. It snapped about a week . The 2 pieces still fit together fairly snuggly (but I would trust dropping it and expecting the two pieces to stay together....so not clipping it to my belt). Eventually, I always evolve to using the only the bottom piece which protects the phone (as long as the phone doesn't fall on an uneven surface) but that might take longer with the 6P than with my Note 3.

There will be a bumper, screen protector, and something new for the back. But the bumper should be sufficient to protect the face and back when dropped on flat surfaces. But not if the back or screen lands on a rock or something.
Do a search on YouTube and you'll find some pretty incredible videos.

Thanks. The one I saw on their website was the bumper case? Is that the one you were referring to or another model? And how's the protection of the case if the device falls flat? Thanks.

Here is the link for the one I got http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015X6FAE6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00 I have attached a photo where you can see the little piece that broke off that served as a point of attachment between the top and the bottom pieces (kind of like a clip you pull and a little piece disengages from the notch when you wanted to pull out the phone) . It does have a bumper which will allow the for protecting the screen from falls onto flat surfaces like floors or sidewalks (as long as there is no pebble LOL). When I contacted the company, they apologized but just refunded $5 out of $14.95. I also like the protection against possible bending afforded by the spine.

Thank you so much!! It's good to know it has the bumper. I'm surprised that they didn't give a full refund but hey its better than nothing and its good to know that they have a customer support that responds. I have a i-Blason case on my Galaxy Tab that has done the job so far.

They are sending one to me to review and I should have it sometime this week. I'll also let you guys know if it fits in any of the holsters that I have right now. I'm more interested in if the carabiner can be taken off or not.
OutterBox is one of my favorite site. You can't find quality like it.
Hey guys! Thank you all for your responses. Poetic Revolution is sending me units to test out and review on the forum. I will post a detailed review for all of you once the case arrives and I have used it enough for a honest and thorough review.
