Panel your device. You can install other ROM's Lollipop? If no, you have Hitachi. If you can install, you have Sony.

install was sucessful (thank you very much!)
However, gaps didn't install the Play Store and installing it via .apk works, but the app can't be started. Is this a common problem?

Thank you for the replies!
what version of 4ext recovery do you have? install the latest 1.0.0.6 rc3
I also had that problem at first but after updating that $ext recovery touch to the latest version, it worked like magic.
Thanks for the reply!
But how can I install new recovery tool without turning my phone on?
I don't know the method, could you share me a link to the tutorial?

You might want to install "4EXT Recovery Updater" app. It's free and maybe easier to use than flashing it via pc.
You should always check the OP, they usually state if there is a brand new version of recovery required to flash that rom.

[UBL] TWRP 3.0.2 - Multilanguage + TA Backup Support

Hello guys!
Today I'm bringing you a new style for TWRP, as seen on the latest compilations from the Nexus 5X & 6P, with a touch of Material Design. The original TWRP image was made by @erikcas, I just added the theme & the Trim-Area backup support to it
PREREQUISITES: Update your Bootloader through this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m2/development/ubl-xperia-m2-bootloader-update-ftfs-t3288148
DOWNLOADS:
Latest version from me: Version 3.0.2 - AndroidFileHost.
Latest version from @Konstantinosj77 (Use this one if you're planning to install CyanogenMod 13, 14.1 or OmniRom 7.0): Version 3.1.0-0.
INSTALLATION:
Download my ADB Pack 'Herramientas-de-flasheo.zip'.
Now, unzip my ADB Pack 'Herramientas-de-flasheo.zip', which contains basic ADB and Fastboot executables to a folder in your desktop. Also, copy the file you downloaded (either RECOVERY-TWRP-3.0.2-D230X_D240X.img or twrp.img) to that folder.
Put your phone in Fastboot mode, this means, while pressing and holding the Vol+ button, connect the USB cable. Once the Led goes blue, stop pressing it.
Now, execute the following keyboard shortcut (Win+R) and type inside the Run prompt CMD. Inside the Command Prompt, using CD (change directory), navigate to the folder you created in the desktop. It'll be something like...
Code:
cd C:\Users\linuxct\Desktop\adbpack\
Now, execute the following command, being <name-of-the-file> the name of the file you downloaded (either RECOVERY-TWRP-3.0.2-D230X_D240X if it's my version or twrp if it's Konstantinosj77 one):
Code:
fastboot flash recovery [COLOR="DarkOrchid"]<name-of-the-file>[/COLOR].img
Once it finishes, disconnect the USB cable. Now, to enter into the recovery, press and hold the volume down button, and while you're holding it, press and hold the Power button until it vibrates. When you see the BIG Sony logo, stop holding the Vol- Button.

Works
If this recovery already compiled for lb as .cpio, i would like to taste it
Any dev working on it can pm me?
Nope currently only for unlocked bootloader devices I think. It may be added to multi recovery you'd have to ask the dev of the multi recovery.
Thread updated! TWRP 2.8.7.1, with TA Backup Support

In that case, first try booting up without gapps, then with gapps (don't wipe data or cache after flashing gapps). Should allow you to skip setup wizard. Happened in AOSP too.

No Problem mate! Its fine as long the back camera works.And the rom too!
There is no music player or browser preinstalled we need to install it.
The ROM is good but is lot of bugs. I used it for 2 days and noticed bugs
1. Camera Force closes
2. Battery takes a lot of time to charge and it does not work under heavy usage much i.e. it consumes more battery.
3. Wifi sharing is not working
4. You need to install Music and Browser it is not preinstalled.
5. Need some more time to check
otherwise the ROM is good but not as a daily driver. The softkeys are really nice.
Please update new rom cypheros and fix bug because this rom is sound perfect.

TWRP and Root for the Vernee Apollo Lite is finally here! Surprise, surprise! :laugh:
Disclaimer:
Tested with Vernee Apollo Lite OTA ''K15TB-A.A.vR1C.N1.160727'' from 27th July 2016.
Conditions:
- Download SPFlashTool
- Download Driver (If you use Windows 8.x or Windows 10 you have to deactivate the driver signature -> Tutorial)
- Download TWRP 3.2.1-0
- Download SuperSU
Install TWRP and Root:
1. Place SuperSU to internel storage
2. Shut down your phone
3. Extract Driver and run InstallDriver.exe
4. Extract SPFlashTool
5. Extract TWRP 3.2.1-0
6. Open SPFlashTool folder and run flash_tool.exe
7. Click on "Scatter -loading" and select the "MT6797_Android_scatter.txt" file
8. It should look like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Note: There must be only a checkmark at "recovery"
9. Click the green "Download" button on SPFlashTool
10. Connect your phone to your computer with an USB 2.0 port and wait until SPFlashTool shows "FINISH". Now TWRP should work, otherwise repeat steps 6-9
If you want Root:
11. Shut down your phone
12. Hold Volume(+) + Power Button for 5 seconds to come to mini recovery
13. Navigate with Volume(+) to "recovery" and confirm with Volume(-). Now you should be in TWRP main menu
14. Choose "Install Zip" and navigate to the SuperSU file on the internal storage and flash it
15. After successful flash, reboot your phone
Now you should have TWRP and Root installed! Good work!
Hello,
I successfully rooted my device using the above information.
Installed SuperSU is 2.76.
Is it save to update SuperSU to the last stable version 2.79?
Has anyone done that already? Via Google Play Store or direct via TWRP?
Thanks
I've did it on a custom rom and it works without any problems.

Questions
A. I have an error with vcruntime140.dll
Install .exe file from redist directory
B. Fastboot can't see my device
Try to reinstall driver. Remove all Android devices from DeviceManager and install it again.
It is instruction from 4pda.ru
We connect the phone on the screen of which "Download mode" hangs to the PC.
Now open the file "Phone_Nokia_USB_Driver_v.1.1.0.msi", click "Next" everywhere.
If an error occurs during installation, such as "Che is there in English, and access is denied", click "OK", complete the installation.
Open the "nokia_usb_drivers" archive, run the "setup" file in the only folder - something imperceptible should happen, wait a few minutes
Open "Control Panel" - "Device Manager" - And see a device named "Fastboot device"

A. Need I flash vbmeta?
In general, you don't need to do this. It is worth using this function if, after flashing, your phone refuses to update via the cloud. In some situations, this may solve your problem.
Note! You can only do this if your firmware archive contains vbmeta.img.
A. How the project will develop?
I hope, that I will add some new opportunities like non-stock ROM flashing, but I don't know what will really happen
A. Can I use It with Locked bootloader
NO
A. What is SVB flashing?
By default, the program flashes almost all partitions on the phone. This is fine for recovery, but there is too much redundancy for flashing custom ROMs.
SVB is a firmware method in which only 3 sections of System, Vendor, Boot are sewn. Hence the name)

Where did you download update zip?
i dont think i remember.I downloaded lots of updates from different websites and tried everyone of them.But the same message was displayed as "timestamp is old"
Files in this thread are not for 'adb sideload' or recovery flashing. Please download any FullOta zip from this website and try to flash it by recovery : https://www.thecustomdroid.com/download-and-install-nokia-7-1-android-10-update-ota/
thank you konstant for your help.

Does it work?
Can someone upload to another server? It's impossible on Google Drive, since it says there have been too many downloads
