There are some universal wireless charger receivers to build into phones, but I haven't found any for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2.
Did anyone find something for this?
Please let us know.

Thanks, that search string found 0 items. I do find many items in simplified search string, but they are all for center USB phones. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 has off-center micro USB port...... Can you point at one specific item or shop?
make sure you find one on aliexpress which has ribbon on the right, since the straight ones won´t work

thanks guys, ordered one......
How is this one supposed to work? You plug it into your USB port, this part is clear, but then? Do you somehow stick it under the cover? Or just stick it on the back side?

I would try to get it under the back cover, if no go, then under an external cover...... There are some clips on YouTube to check. My best guess is to use an external cover.....

It's still in transit, expecting this week.....
Ah OK, cause I'm thinking of buying one too, and there's currently a 5% discount
The only thing that bothers me is to Sacrifice the micro USB poort. I don't like that but What can you do.......
So I bit the bullet and bought one and a charging pad. Let's hope they work!
And about the USB port, I thought you'd still be able to use it cause it seemed like it would still allow the cable to go through. Well in any case I only use the port to charge my phone, everything else is done via WiFi
Actually there are 2 questions:
Is it possible to put it under original cover?
Are camera, flash light and speaker OK with this?
ok, the adapter does fit for use inside the phone, although I had to file out the USB port entrance in the back cover. That being said, it won't charge properly due to the layer of foil inside the back cover I presume. It sits now between the phone's back cover an the external silicone cover. Wireless charging is go!
awesome cant wait to try this and build a charger in every table
Hi, could you share with us somes pictures ?
Thanks

I waiting for this rom Sir,
Fast charging is not their Coz there is no Type C charging support.. And about 4k recording it can be enabled in custom rom coz hardware support for it but out off box u'll not get 4k recording..
Hit thanks if helped.
Thank you.
It has support for Qualcomm quick charge v2.0
It does support fast charging but it doesn't support 4k recording.
it does not support USB fast charging because it doesn't have TYPE C Charging support and it doesn't support 4K recording but it can be enabled by Custom kernel/ROM also USB fast charging can be enabled in Custom kernel bcz it does support quick charge v2.0

shame about the lack of usb-c because it seems that the sD636 supports Quick Charge 4
Quickcharge 2.0 is supported as written in the OEM site. But charging time is almost same as stock charger. While stock charger took 2.20-2.30, quickcharger took 2.15-2.20.

Because quickcharge ain't enabled yet, it will be enabled with a later OTA update. SD636 supports quickcharge 4.0.

yep
Yes, fast charging is possible.
Using a SD Quick charger inputs 8-9 V, 2 Amp current through the phone. So yes, it does support quick charging.
Do use a SD quick charger.
Mi A1, however doesn't support this. So cheers to all those, who got hand on this phone
Phone supports quick charge 2.0 out of the box but I think xiaomi didn't enable quick charge 3.0 to save up on royalties to Qualcomm. So devslopes-android-kotlin might implement it through custom kernel and forget about quick charge 3.0 since phone dosent have type C port.
Hallo,
Since my MI A2 was damaged i'm without Phone
Not pc detection instead charging
I would like to change the USB connector and want an advise from you
Can someone show me good one and link to bey
Thank's in advance
Most charging port flexes for MI A2 are copies without Quick-Charge capability - also some other parts are missing on the PCB.
The only original one I found is this here (unfortunately quite pricey):
Mi A2 Charging Flex
This might be because of update lot of people facing same issue
I am looking for a cable or something to connect my Xioami Mi 9T to HDMI.
Do you have any experience with this cable?
https://www.jagek.com/en/xiaomi-acc...b-c-to-hdmi-cable-for-xiaomi-mi-9t-31126.html
...or what about this one? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-3-...765915?hash=item4d987c515b:g:PWwAAOSwSZ5dMHY4
Thank you
For what I know, Mi 9T USB port has no video output (sigh...), so I don't know how it could work...
These cables are called MHL. You can check list of supported devices on their sites mhltech.org. If your device is not on the list and xiaomi has almost none of supported MHL devices, then you won't be able to stream over USB port.
But this cable has in title "...For Xiaomi Mi 9T"... Is there an Xiaomi Mi9T with MHL support? ...or is it a scam?

Yes. Unfortunately
Xiaomi has just a USB 2.0 port. So it will never work.
