Dual booting roms - Moto G 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone have a working method to dual boot ROMs on the moto g 3rd gen?

As far as I know it's not possible. Multirom is not available for the moto g 2015 yet. I don't know if it will ever be available, but I really hope so.

[Q] CM 11 for Moto G XT1033 [Dual SIM]

I have been tracking CM wiki for Moto G on their site. Until a day or two ago, it said:
This is a unified build that supports retail (XT1031, XT1032, and XT1034) and Google Play Edition (XT1032). Future support for XT1033 (dual sim) will be added.
But today it says:
This is a unified build that supports retail (XT1031, XT1032, XT1033 and XT1034) and Google Play Edition (XT1032).
Does this mean it supports the XT1033 (dual sim) now? since people installing it before on XT1033 reported that the phone only worked in Single SIM mode. Please update if anyone is in the know how about this. I tried posting on CM11 for Moto G topic but not enough posts...

[Q]

I currently have a Moto G 1st Gen UK. I am currently waiting for lollipop however I have seen that the GPE edition already has lollipop now. Because it appears that moto g gen 1 and moto g gpe has identical hardware, would i be able to flash a gpe rom on my stock 4.4.4 gen 1? That way I could have gpe lollipop on my device?
Another question if the above is possible, would it would in the UK as i'm currently on O2?

It's somehow a way to catch attention but at least in the future you should consider to give your threds more meaningful titles
Concerning your question: don't think this will work that easy since gpe and non-gpe use different file systems on the userdata partition (ext4 and f2fs). If you are willing to unlock your bootloader you can of course think about CM or some other custom ROM.
Is O2 your provider? As long as your rom correctly can address your sim-card (what should be the case if you flashed the right one) there shouldn't be problems with your provider.

No...
Moto G 2015 - osprey
Moto G Turbo - merlin
They share a line name (Moto G) and many common features, but for the most part they are different devices. Unless a ROM dev has an all in one ROM that is specifically stated as working on both devices (and I don't know of any), only use ROMs, recovery, mods, etc. that are specifically for the Merlin.

xposed framework moto g xt1032?

Hi all
I'm on a moto g xt1032 running latest LineageOS 7.1.2.
I really fancied getting xposed on this phone but even though i can install the app, I keep getting errors re there being no xposed framework for my model and android version.
Any ideas where I might find a version, if that's even possible?
There are a lot of posts from other moto g users here that have it working.
Cheers!
