OK, I've Google Searches, xda searched. I can't get fast boot. I've owned numerous HTC phones over last many years, never had this issue. I have no option for fast boot once I put in download mode or bootloader. I can't seem to find the "fastboot off" under battery. Anybody have any ideas? Issues also? I'm on a ATT version.
Fastboot is called download mode now. Just boot into download mode and use fastboot commands as usual

Okay hello people.
I have the drivers required, i connect my htc sensation to my pc, i then open revolutionary and enter my beta key, so far so good.
Zerging Root...
A few more lines...
"Waiting for fastboot" << this never goes away or..
"Waiting for fastboot (again)"
Then it says press any button to end..
The phone does boot into fastboot usb mode but nothing happens.
Any suggestions or ideas would be cool thanks.
(I have reset the phone twice, i have tried to do this like six times oh and i also tried the htcdev way of things and that wont work for me either haha :') )
Still won't work.. nobody know?
After removing every trace of htc possible, deleting all drivers i downloaded.. re-downloaded the drivers,re-installed them.
Finally i have managed it

I have a Verizon S3. I flashed something....ok...I am also a newbb. Phone works fine for the most part, except constant dropped internet connection due to Verizon upgrade a couple weeks ago. I just received a replacement phone and need to turn in old phone in original working order. However I can't get into download mode or recovery mode. The Samsung Unlocked icon shows up when powered on. USB bugging is enabled. I did buy the S3 toolkit (msskips) and it recognizes my phone. Since I cant get into download mode, how to I flash original stock rom?

Try to download terminal emulator and type in:
su
reboot download
You have to be rooted.

I downloaded Android Terminal Emulator. Sorry for the newbb basic question. Do I type in SU, then the "enter" key, then reboot download?
Thank you!
I typed in su and got "su: not found.
I typed in rebbot download and got "Operation not permitted".
So does that mean I am not rooted and only flashed something?

Ya sorry, I thought you were rooted.
If you aren't rooted you're already stock, why would you want to enter download mode?

There is no "option" for fastboot in the list with bootloader, etc. I need an answer fast. I've never had this issue before. I'm on an AT&T A9. Without fastboot function, I'm stuck. Thanks in advance for your help.

I've been through this procedure a zillion times with no problems, but I've never seen this! Somebody give me a hand here! I sure would appreciate seeing what I'm overlooking. This is baffling. Crazy!
Fastboot is now download. Once you get to the black screen that says reboot download reboot Fastboot etc , you can flash Fastboot commands from that screen.

So when Android 6 came out I updated my phone, it was a really bad mistake i've been encountering problems since then, always thinking of downgrading but I had problems unlocking it, today I encountered a really bad problem where notification bar won't work neither home button and lock screen... geez alright so I read lots and lots of forums about unlocking the phone (I want to install CyanogenMod) and when I got to the last step, writing in the command prompt "fastboot oem unlock MY KEY", I got the error saying I have to enable OEM Unlocking in developer options, well I dont have that! If I go to the search bar in settings and write OEM it does appear but when I touch it it sends me to Developer Options and it's not there... What can I do now?
tap 7 times on build number, then you see the developer options

I have a redmi note 5 phone that i used for many years without any complication. Never installed custom rom, never rooted, never played with any system settings. Despite that one morning my phone decided to die on me. Now when ever i press the power button it turns on and stuck at MI logo.
After some research, i tried a lot of things like trying to unlock bootloader through mi unlock tools... Flashing firmware through mi flash tool. Even tried flashing stock rom through ADB l. But nothing seems to work..
The only thing i can go to is fastboot option.
I have no idea what to do next.. If anyone come across this situation i would very much like to know any possible fixes.
TIA
