change unit default language - Samsung Gear 2

hello.
i bought a galaxy gear s watch and when i did a factory reset on it it rebooted in Spanish or something similar. the model number is SM-R750. apparently they had re-flashed it... ?
anyways i went to sammobile and downloaded the firmware for me. i then used odin to flash the device. all went ok but still it shows Spanish language. i dont know why since i flashed an English firmware. should i click re-partition? i dont have a pit file though
furthermore, i even went back and downloaded the British firmware. obviously that should be english.
still, when the unit reboots it gives text in ROMANIAN.
the serial number on the device is: SM-R7500ZKAROM (where ROM is Romania).
the bastards in my country brought this unit in from romania and resold it.
so how do i fix this issue? i realize i can start the unit, go through the steps then change to english but i really want it in english.

[Q] HTC Desire HD 2.50 Rom, no Dutch language in the list!

Hi People,
A while ago i decided to root and flash my phone to get miui on it. It all went well, but now the volume button of the device fell out, the 'H' on the back fell off etcetera. So i want to send it back for service. Although i had to set everything back to factory state. My device was still rooted so i put the stock rom back on it. I'm from the netherlands, and the dutch language was in the selection menu, so that was fine. But then i got a lot of errors after restoring a Titanium backup. Errors containing 'android.process.acore'. I tried to update the phone, because i thought that maybe then the error would go away, but it didn't. So i decided to go to the bootloader and restore to factory settings. That all went well, and when i started my phone again it was in dutch, just as i want it to be. I firstly had to select a carrier, mine was on the list, so that was fine too, but then i had to select a language. Unfortunately the dutch language wasn't in the list!
These were the only options:
English (United Kingdom)
English (Ireland)
Espanol (Reino Unido)
Espanol (Irlanda)
Francais (Royaume-Uni)
Francais (Irlande)
Italiano (Regno Unito)
Italiano (Irlanda)
I tried a few RUU files to see if there was a dutch language on any of them, but there wasn't. I can't send the phone back without having the possibility to choose the dutch language, because then they can see i have flashed it once and i would lose my warranty. Maybe i have already lost it, but it is worth to try. It's not common that a phone is falling apart in just a little year. Does anybody know how to get my stock rom to dutch? Maybe i've got a wrong bootloader? But since i am in firmware version 2.50 i can't downgrade anymore i thought?
Any help is very appreciated!
Ps. I'm Sorry for my bad English
Many thanks,
Laurens
Edit:
I have tried selecting those languages that were available but firstly every language on the list showed the language described, just as it has to do. But now I selected the 'English (Ireland)' language again, and everything is dutch again! Very stange... Should this be enough to send my phone for service? The device has stock rom, firmware 2.50, S-On and is dutch (at least for now).

[Q][GT-S7562] Help trying to tweak a Chinese Sansung Galaxy S Duos

Hi all,
I was recently given a Samsung Galaxy S Duos (GT-S7562) which was bought in China.
It already came a bit hacked, since it looks like the people selling it in China changed it a bit. It came with the Chinese baseband S7562ZCLK2, but PDA and CSC corresponded to a firmware from XSG region, which I think is United Arab Emirates. Thanks to this, it came with many languages, and not just English and Chinese, but, since it's quite a "Frankenstein", right now it won't be detected by Kies.
I have complete freedom to work on this phone, since I don't use it, so I was trying to get it flashable by Kies. Whenever I try to flash any non Chinese firmware via Odin, it errors out when trying to upload fat.bin. I've already read that is due to trying to flash a firmware from another region. But at least, I've managed to get the PDA I want.
Then, after examining the files on the firmware tar file (all the firmwares I've tried where downloaded from sammobile.com) I noticed that cache.img seemed to contain the CSC files, inside a file, called sec_csc.zip, which can be flashed using the stock recovery. Using that, I managed to change the CSC to DBT (Germany) and the PDA is now XXBMD6, also Germany.
The problem now is that Kies finally recognizes the phone, but will never find updates, since it still has the Chinese S7562ZCLK2 baseband.
The question is: is there any way I can get the correct baseband, which I think is S7562DBTBME1, so I can have Kies detect the phone 100% correctly and let me install the latest update on it?
Thanks in advance.
In case anyone has thought of it, I have already found this post, but the info is not applicable to the Galaxy S Duos:

SM-J7108 Problems.

Hello guys,my friend got this (SM-J7108) phone in Romania some weeks ago from emag.ro (A trusted seller). After a time the phone got an update and he made it, now there is no more romanian language, he can't use frontal camera or flash. He made factory reset, from the android and the recovery. I wanted to flash the android with odin but i saw that the phone is for Asia market and can't find the rom, is that true? And what can i do? He sent me photos with the box, a lot of chinese things on the box but the recovery is full in english, no chinese at all. I told him to make a ticket on the seller site to solve the problem but i first want to know more details about this phone and what really happened here. Thanks ! xD

[Resolved] Galaxy SM-G355M Soft Brick, after installing Firmware with Odin, Boot Loop

Hello: I am in Colombia. The phone was purchased Used. I believe the phone was originally configured for Claro in Panama and that it then had Movistar Argentina Firmware flashed into it. I am a "Newbie" with Flashing, etc.
It was Unlocked and yesterday I Rooted it and it was working OK, but the Firmware was from 2014 and could not be updated via OTA or by KIES. My goal was to get Firmware that could be Updated and hopefully that was Unbranded.
I included the URL on SamMobile.com for the Firmware I flashed. I chose that one, hoping that it was Unbranded and I chose COL because KIES showed the previous Firmware ending in COL. That is apparently prohibited by XDA rules for new posters, but it is the latest one for Colombia for COL.
After Flashing the firmware with Odin the first time, and then the phone rebooting, I saw a message about 90 Android Apps updating. Then, it got to the Home Screen, which looked normal. However, if I tapped on any of the options (Settings, Phone, etc.) there was no response, as if the Screen was not receiving input. After rebooting several times and doing a Hard Reset, the issue continued.
THen, I Flashed that Firmware with Odin again. This time, there is a different symptom. After it boots, it will eventually get to a "Welcome" screen (in Spanish) where I am given an option (in Spanish) to select the language, which is shown as U.S. Spanish, or to select Accessibility, or to Continue, but if I tap on any of those options, nothing happens and after a few seconds, it again reboots. It is now in that loop, continuously.
The Wipe Data/Factory Reset option did not help the issues the phone is having.
When the phone boots, there is a momentary screen that shows "Tigo Smart", so this is apparently not an Unbranded Firmware that I was hoping to get for the phone.
The phone is in a "Boot Loop" as I am typing this post.
Questions: Is there another Firmware that you would recommend I get for this phone? Which Firmware? If not, how can I get the phone to work properly again?
After the first Flash of the Firmware, it got to what I call the "Home Screen" and looked as it did before I Flashed this FIrmware, but when I tapped on things, there was no response.
Thank you, in advance, for your time and your help, which I sincerely appreciate! Lanny
P.S.
This is my first post here. Please move this to another place, if that's appropriate. I cannot post this in the forum for this model, because it is my first post here.
Follow on with additional information
Before I began working with the phone, I noted the "Baseband Verson" is G355MUBU0ANJ2.
The first Firmware I downloaded from SamMobile did not have "UBU" in the PDA.
I downloaded another "COL" firmware for Colombia from SamMobile that does have "UBU" in the PDA.
I flashed that Firmware and the phone is doing the same thing it did with the first Firmware I installed (after I flashed it the 2nd time).
It is getting to the "Welcome" screen (in Spanish) and then if I tap, to change the language, or on another option, nothing happens.
Also, it is in a "Boot Loop" again.
I have my fingers crossed (and will pray) that someone here can tell me which Firmware I should get for this phone with a "Baseband Version" of G355MUBU0ANJ2
Thank you again, for your time and help which I greatly appreciate! Lanny
Solved by Flashing original 2014 Firmware
That was not how I hoped this would turn out, but the phone is working again. I installed the original Firmware, which is for Claro in Panama and is dated October 2014. I lost all of the changes I had made, but I will be able to get it back to the way I had it, in the next day or two. If anyone knows how I can Flash a much later Stock Firmware in this phone, that will work properly in it, please let me know. Thank you!
P.S. Someone had installed Movistar Firmware in the phone before we got it. I think it was for Movistar in Argentina. We are in Colombia.

Convert canadian g930w8 into european g930f

Hi people.
The motherboard of my G930F breaks down and I bought a new one from one seller.
Seller tolds me that my contry language was in the menus (spanish).
I just mount the mainboard and the phone works fine, but maybe the 75% of the menu texts appear in english.
I tryed to translate them with morelocale or some other apk's but the device must be rooted or make it by ADB.
Now, the seller is telling that I can flash a G930F firmware in my G930W8, because is "the same device".
I don't now certanly if this is real or not.
Can you help me? Thx in advance
They both use the same exynos could buy you can't flash 930f firmware to the 930w8 with Odin.
The model number in download mode will always be 930w8.

Yes, since it's the Canadian version, I would imagine the W8 ROM's Spanish language abilities would be limited. Even if there's a Spanish language option in the menus, Samsung wouldn't put the effort into translating the whole OS for something they're only selling in Canada, a country that speaks English and French. What you could do, though, is flash an Exynos custom ROM, which will work with W8 or F, and change your CSC (that stands for country specific phone, it tells Android which language and location to use by default) to Mexico-Unlocked or Spain-Unlocked. There are some Claro CSCs in there too, if you're in one of the many Spanish-speaking countries where they have a monopoly and you need their official apps to recognize your phone as a Claro phone. I'll link the thread, all of the instructions for how to flash the ROM and change it to a Spanish-speaking CSC are in there. https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/development/rom-s7-rom-v1-0-t3356197
Just to warn you, if your phone has the Oreo update, this might not work, because even if you flash the Nougat recovery and bootloader, there's no guarantee that TWRP would be able to format /data and mount /system in the Oreo ROM to actually flash the Nougat ROM. If it fails, no worries, a program called "Samsung Smart Switch" can get you back on the working stock ROM with the press of a button. Even if it does work, though, you'll be downgrading to the 1.5-year-old Nougat, which you might not want. The SuperMan ROM developer says Oreo is coming soon though, he wasn't able to do it yet because he was in the hospital with a medical emergency until about a month after Samsung released the official F/FD/W8 Oreo Touchwiz ROM, so it's just a matter of patience. Your comment sounds like you can speak fairly good English, so hopefully you can make calls, text, and bookmark the Spanish versions of your favorite websites until a stock-based Oreo ROM comes out. I don't think it will take any longer than another month.
