May wanna post about that in the One X forums.
We can't help you much here in the Verizon HTC One forums.
As santod said, you'll have better luck in the forum for your device, the One X. This is the forum for the One.
That said, you can try clearing data for the software updater, and checking again.
A few weaks ago I read a news about outrolling Android Lollipop. In this article there also was the information that it maybe as well would run on older devices caused of lower hardware-requirements of Android 5.0. Htc hasn't given much information yet. So what do you think, will our ONE SV get Lollipop (official or dev-version/ported)?
I don't think HTC will bring us the official version but isn't anybody able to port it? Would be a great project.

mmm i think we will never see other improvements in software... upgrading to kitkat was also possible but HTC didn't released and i believe it's a number matter: those who bought HTC one sv aren't too many...

and of the not too many.. none were developers that stayed with it.. personally.. im thinking new phone in 2015 and passing my one sv down to my 6 year old
probably this post will be deleted but i found a way to flash lollipop in our phone...

are you serious? the screenshot on that site are from skydragon rom on htc one m8 and they are edited + links & video are fake.
probably it's better to close this thread as we all know that there will NOT be any further update for this device.
it's a waste of time doing these searches on web.
I'm currently running cyangenmod 11 on my htc one m8 for sprint and i want 12 but cant cuz it saids i need hboot 3.19. So any help is appreciated for me to have this updated

Hmm ... Sprint HTC One (M8) ... here is a Q&A thread about CM12 for the M8: [Q&A] [ROM] Unofficial CM 12 Nightlies [20141129].
Maybe there you get a better answer.

BTW ... according to this thread: List of ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, etc. for the Sprint HTC One (M8) ... there is no CM12 for your exact device model available ATM.

Hi, I have installed the stock rom for my device for version 4.3 in mid 2014 from guru downloads and I got the updates on air with no issues and now my device is running by 4.4.3 and recently I got the OTA update for the android 5 and after completed the download a message appeared that my rom is a modified version.
so, please could you advise how i can solve this issue.
my device is unlocked and S-on and the existing rom 6.07.1540.2

I am using a HTC one m8. It is from middle east with a os version of 3.36.401.4 .This os version was not getting ota updates. So i installed Cyanogen Mod without a backup. My phone is not S-off so i cant change the mid and cid numbers to install stock roms made for europe. I am stuck here...Can anyone provude me the os i mentioned above or its backup? please help
