[tipo]Rooting status changed to "No" from "Yes". Can't enter fastboot mode now
This xperia tipo st21i single sim had rooting status: "Bootloader Unlock: Yes" but it changed to "Bootloader unlock allowed : No" may be after flashing 11.0.A.4.22_generic or after a failed root exploit by flashtool or some other reason. I cant enter fastboot mode now. I want to install and test some custom roms on this device. Help please...
[ images attached. Flashtool log (the only log that i have) during bootloader unlocking is also attached.]
THE COMPLETE STORY:
The device was running 11.0.A.4.27_Indian firware. It is detecting sim cards of Reliance and aircel carriers but not of airtel and vodafone carriers. So i decided to flash modems from 11.0.A.4.22_generic.ftf. I successfully unlocked the bootloader yesterday with flashtool. I was able to enter fastboot mode. I tried flashing modem with "fastboot flash modem modem_fs1.sin" and i got "Error: Partition modem not found (remote error)". I tried rooting it using flashtool but root exploit failed. Then i successfully flashed entire 11.0.A.4.22_generic.ftf via flashtool in flashmode. I tried installing cwm using these instructions but then it failed at step3 "error su not found". I had downloaded boot.img which had twrp recovery. But then, i realised the device is not entering fastboot mode with any method. Then I checked rooting status and surprisingly it has now changed to "Bootloader unlock allowed: No". I came to know that unlockable devices cannot enter fastboot mode after searching forums. Flashtool still recognises it as unlocked.. How do i access fastboot mode again? How do i revert the rooting status back to " Bootloader unlock:Yes". My ultimate aim is to install a custom recovery and flash custom roms.

[Q] Unable to unlock bootloader

Hi,
I tried to unlock my bootloader via flash tool, but for some reason, my rooting status (my bootloader) is unknown (before was unlockable). I relocked and unlocked it again but still no luck. I flashed the latest firmware with flashtool.. but my bootloader's status is still unknown. The device is rooted and verified. What i must to do to have back bootloader to unlockable?
Please help..

oem unlock is not allowed

Hi, I've got the 6045Y model which I've been trying to install twrp on, but I can't unlock the bootloader; it says oem unlock is not allowed.
I've tried on os x and linux with sudo but it's the same on both sides. As my phone isn't carrier locked, I don't understand why it's not allowing me to unlock the bootloader. There's also no oem unlock option in the developer options.
Any help?
You must do something wrong?
Can you trY with Windows
You need Alcatel Drivers+Minimal Adb and Fastboot
connect device you must enable debugging and then
-type "adb reboot-bootloader" to reboot into bootloader. The device should reboot to the screen showing "alcatel onetouch...powered by android". This is bootloader mode.
-Then type "fastboot -i 0x1bbb devices" should show some numbers and "fastboot" after the numbers
-Type "fastboot -i 0x1bbb oem device-info" shows device info including bootloader status (e.g. locked).
-Type "fastboot -i 0x1bbb oem unlock" to unlock the bootloader; after this you should get, for device info,
-Type "fastboot -i 0x1bbb oem device-info" and you should see "Device unlocked: true"
-To reboot normally: "fastboot -i 0x1bbb reboot"

I tried on windows just now and the same thing happened: "FAILED (remote: oem unlock is not allowed)". I should mention though, I flashed twrp before unlocking the bootloader. I wonder if this is what's causing the problem.
I dont remember if this option was there, but you can try. Go into Settings/About Phone, scroll down and click on “build number” continuously until you see a toast notification telling you that you've enabled Developer Options. Go back to your Settings menu and enter Developer Options, scroll down and click on the “Enable OEM Unlock” checkbox, also make sure you enable USB Debugging while you're in the Developer Options menu.

Same problem with same UK model and installed that patch too. I managed to flash TWRP and install PAC ROM still bootloader claims to be locked.
fastboot -i 0x1bbb oem unlock
FAILED (remote: oem unlock is not allowed)
fastboot -i 0x1bbb oem device-info
(bootloader) Device tempered:false
(bootloader) Device Unlock:false
easiest way is to download stock firmware with flsh tool for panasonic eluga switch (rebranded idol3),. Flash it with using the included flash tool. then unlock bootloader. Then use mobile upgrade Q 5.0.6 to go back to stock. And you are on stock uk firmware with unlocked bootloader.
I flashed someone's stock 6045Y(Europe) Firmware: 5.0.2-010 03 but couldn't unlock it either. After that I flashed 6045-i806-DCZ. I was really surpriced it let me do that while claiming to be locked and untempered. After that I did factory reset and flashed PAC-ROM. I'm not sure why should I bother to unlock bootloader if I already have TWRP and PAC-ROM flashed. I've no idea how can I even flash rom's with locked bootloader? Maybe oem device-info is bugged.
Anyways I download panasonic eluga switch firmwire, gonna test it after taking backups.

the Panasonic firmware flash also the aboot partition which has bootloader unlock enabled. without unlocked bootloader you could end with bricked device and the only solution is mobile upgrade q.
I did as you said and finally got bootloader unlocked, yey! Hopefully I don't have to go thought that process anytime soon. Thanks and thumps up!

1-You didnt wrote phch model do you have.
2-newer heard of this issue . Install the drivers from the eluga firmware app, reboot, turn off your device, connect device to computer, run the download form the eluga firmware app.

It looks like MM update dont include aboot with commands for unlocking bootloader. You have to use mobile upgrade Q PC aPP, or Panasonic eluga firmware flash tool (for 6045Y) to go back to 5.0.2. Then unlock bootloader, and flash update to MM (or when on panasonic firmware youhave to use mobile upgrade Q to go back to stock). When on stock, wat for OTA MM or flash MM from XDA thread.

Philz Recovery, Twrp for Xperia Arc S

Hello, i need to install Cyanogen on Xperia Arc S,
So ...
1. I rooted my phone useing Eroot
2. I installed SuperSu
3. With CWM_Installer-v5.apk i install CWM recovery
I have the same problem with all custom roms, when i try to flash them i receive status 7 error.
I checked on youtube and google for fixing this.
I deleted the Asserts from META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script”.
And i still same error
Some recomanded to update to phillz recovery or twrp
I tried to flash Twrp but the phone skips to enter recovery mode after flashing twrp
My phone has bootloader locked and i could not unlock bootloader.
I checked on sony website for
Unlock the boot loader
i typed
*#*#7378423#*#*
App Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. Bootloader unlock allowed says NO
I asked for my code
fastboot -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0x90F9F5C0082C32F3
i started ADB, when i type adb devices is shows the phone , but when i type fastboot devices, i receive no response
So my question is:
How can i change CWM with Phillz or TWRP? and where can i find and working Phillz recovery for xperia arc S

E6683 Flashtool allow to flash any FTF, but fail to flash any boot.img

My phone in the developer menu state that I have "Unlock Bootloader", same is confirmed by *#*#7378423#*#*
Still, flashtool and fastboot flash boot <kernel.img> , both return "Failed - command not allowed"
What I am missing ?
Other command from fastboot, like detect device and reboot are working, so ... I guess it is not a driver issue
Thanks
e_lm_70
PS: On my old Z2 I was able to root with kingroot and then install dual recovery , but kingroot can't root my Z5 and I did try on Android 5 or 6 or 7 for Z5 Dual

Unable to Unlock Bootloader (help!)

I've tried online guides to unlock bootloader, but messed up in some point and now I'm stuck.
1st. Download indepth test and reboot to bootloader within the app.
2nd. Tried adb devices successfully
3rd. Fastboot oem unlock nor Fastboot flashing unlock run (output: fastboot oem unlock failed "remote unknown command")
4th. Decided to make a factory reset (just becase I had to make an stupid desition)
Now I can reboot into fastboot again, because in depth test app won't install anymore. Installer says "Installation failed -An app with the same signature has already been installed"
I've unsuccessfully tried to flash stock rom from recovery but thein depth test seems to be "installed" without front user interface, also fasboot reboot bootloader get stuck in waiting for any device.
Can someone have a solution I already tried anything that comes to my mind.
Thanks.
I was able to solve the problem installing extractly the same apk.
The "fastboot oem unlock" dont work for me
What work on me 5pro is "fastboot flashing unlock"
Then flash twrp and vbmeta
To relock bootloader "fastboot flashing lock"
