Looking for some kind of OEM case, Zagg shields, etc. If I got my handset yesterday, surely the stores are building inventory by now - especially for high-margin chinese accessories...
Anyone find G2-specific stuff at their local Tmo shop yet?

I'm not sure but try daydeal.com I know the case I bought from there was a t-mobile accessory but a lot cheaper then t-mobile charges
My local store didn't have any out yet. I know youtube has two videos of a guy showing what cases will be available on launch day. 2 blue or purple hard cases and one clear case with a kick stand.
I was able to find a local t-mobile in Pembroke Pines, FL that had pretty much everything (t-mobile branded, including the BodyGlove case, anti-smudge screen protectors, etc) in stock.
The first store I tried (Hollywood FL) had squat, Radio Shack had no clue when they would be getting the phone (despite supposed availability tomorrow Oct 3 and the huge G2 sign in the store.)
So it's hit or miss, probably comes down to employees being unaware of the box in the back of the store. Maybe best to ask for a manager if you need a quick fix.

I think that's me with the kickstand lol
Sent from my T-Mobile G2
My local store in Huntsville, AL has a pretty good selection of accessories, including a hard case with a removable belt clip that doubles as a kickstand, and screen protectors with anti-smear. They are having a sale where you can get 20% off if you buy 2 accessories or 30% off each if you buy 3 accessories. That's basically enough to cancel out the ridiculously high prices, but I am a fan of instant gratification.
After using the phone for a while in the "black gel" oem case though, it really doesn't feel as good in your hand as it does with just the naked phone. My G2 will be going naked pretty often, I think.
Ok so all my T-Mobile store is selling is 1 Black gel skin, 1 Purple rubbery like gel skin(alot harder than the gel but still flexable), Black Body Glove and Screen Protectors. I have noiced that the Body Glove makes it hard to hit the top row of keys on the G2 so thats why im using just a screen protector and my old G1 sleeve =)
We have about 7 different cases at my store plus the screen protectors. I will take a picture of each tomorrow and post them for you guys.
2 Body glove cases (one skin like weird material and one normal body glove with changeable clip.
Blue and black combo
Purple and black combo
Clear (with kickstand)
Black gel skin
I think there was another but when I was receiving them there was just so much stuff I tried most of em. The best was the body glove skin like one.
my local store had the screen protectors on Friday and they had JUST come in and they hadn't even had time to put them out yet. i had to ask for them and they were behind the desk.
i didnt bother looking to buy anything else since I know the prices are outrageous. I refuse to pay $30 for a car charger I can get online for $6 shipped.
I picked up a case and a couple of micro-usb cables today. They had screen protectors, a couple of different cases, a crappy car/wall charger and micro-usb cables.
The screen protectors that they used to sell for the G1 were crap, not nearly as good as the thing that came with the phone. I suspect the G2 is the same, so I trimmed the little tab and a little off of the bottom of the one that was on the phone and left it on. I suspect it'll work fine for quite a while. Especially now that I have a case. The case seems to be much slimmer and better fitting that the covers for the G1s.
Actully the screen protectors are rather awesome. Make swype super easy. Not even close to they crappy ones for the G1 / mytouch lol. Ill admit those were pretty bad haha I would have kept the stock one but it fell off the first time I put it in my pocket =(

Anyone else have any info on the body glove I'm thinking of picking one up later on today. Are the screen protectors at T-Mobile covering the whole screen or just the LCD part? Does it cover the home, back, etc....

I think this is the body glove case: http://www.daydeal.com/product.php?productid=46888&cat=5212
It looks nice. I just ordered the kickstand case on ebay for 12.95 and free ship though... might have to get this too.
Just snaged one up from best buy and have to say its thin and light an awesome did the water test with the enclosed s4 test unit... its light and not as buoky as a defender but feeks like the same drop protection is offered. . The speaker is not real noticeably muffled depends on the music and volume level phone calls are good just gotta cut volume up a little but thats it no problems talking at all.. the only thin I have noticed is the light sensor is right next to the plastic housing for the ear piece and does make it slower to transition from bright to dark areas. .. thats the only negative thing I have found so far and its not that big of a deal and maybe the home button enclosure top is right under the space makes hiting the space bar a little awkward but can get use to it... if yall have any questions just ask if wanted I can make a test video of the case and stuff just let me know and I'll do what i can to answer or help. .. here's a picture of the box and the test unit will post more shortly. .. those were taken with the case on with glash so you can see how the pictures are a little
Update : I called lifeproof and have to say customer service was just awesome told them my issies and they were gonna send me a new caae and didn't even ask for said that thats not a known issue and they would give me another case becuase it shouldn't interfere with the light sensor so I said ill just exchange it best buy which I did and the 2nd one is just awesome no more issues with the auto brightness. ... and sound is better with this one I had to set my volume to half way for talk and speaker is no different than another case

No problem i have the otter deffender the s view aromr and out of those this is my favorite its alot lighter then the defender and not as bulky the clear back is awesome and doesn't seem to mess with signal that I can tell like the deffender... do what I did lol go to best buy and try them both there are subtle differences between the fre and nuud besides the screen protector like plastics around the ear piece and home butto have different contours...
Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
Figured id update I exchanged for the fre the light sensor/proximity sensor thing was getting on my nerves and the only differences between the 2 are the fre has a more angled edge where as the nuud has more square edges around the screen which hides the sensors a little and of course the screen protector built in ither than that there the same loving the fre the inly pad thins is the screen protector seems pixilated a little I still love it tho

I am curious if this will work with the wireless charging back since it is slightly thicker.
On a side note, I went to a Verizon Corp Store and asked about this case (Huge Lifeproof fan) and the store manager told me "Lifeproof does not make these for anything but iPhones." So I pulled out my phone, went to the site and said "I can buy it now on the site, I was hoping you had them here." and he proceeded to call me a liar and says it was a fake site.....
i have actually been looking into this. Instead of a case though, i was thinking on one of those water coating opinions, some companies offer. It's quite expensive though....

You can really bust his chops when I called life proof about the auto brightness issue they offered me a replacement and I said no I'll switch out at best buy and asked them if I could get the 10 water protection plan they offer and she informed me that you can only get it from Verizon and the lifeproof website that's it lol... NFC works great and the abeam thing not sure about the wireless charging the back is not thick at all its about the same as a tpu case in my opinion

I've looked into those a little and didn't trust them lol I'm very finicky at times about case and so far the fre seems to be well worth it and I have the otter box defender sview armor a tpu one and now the fre and this one is the best IMO only if I could get the sview mixed with the life proof lol

Just an FYI, I just bought the Qi Wireless charging back & charging pad, and the Lifeproof Nuud for my Sprint Galaxy S4 L-720, and it does maintain the waterproof seal with the wireless charging back on the device inside the lifeproof.
So you can't use any screen protector with this?
Sent from my Galaxy S4 using Tapatalk
Do they offer all the other accessories as well, like they do for the iPhone version? Armband, bike mount, go pro mount? I didn't see any of them listed for the S4 on their website. I'm debating between this and Seidio's OBEX case.
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Nope. No accessories. Also, they're now on Amazon and by what I can tell they're the official cases. $57 for the Nuud and $51 for the Fre.

Lifeprrof nuud
I grabbed one from bestbuy as well for 95 its worth it except for the fact that the person on the other line can not hear me as well about half the time. Its frustrating to yell, I have contacting the lifeproof and they create a case file and say that they will get back to me asap its been a day now. When i emailed my complaint to otterbox they got on it right away. The otterbox defender doesn't work with the GS4 at all due to the hole for us to be able to use the button, eventually particles get underneath their screen protector and after use you move the particles scratching your surface or denting it. The defender also dented and scratched the bezel on the phone

When swapping to the fre did you return your nuud to the bestbuy or file a complaint for it? And if you did return to bestbuy did you return the scratch protector that they have in the box? Thanks in advance!
As for the screen protector you can use one. I put full Ghost armour Carbon Fiber (Blue) on with my Life proof and it looks bad ass with the Matte screen too. Well worth the LifeProof.
I've had my LifeProof since almost the day it was released at Best Buy with no issues. I had an issue at first with the sound coming through my ear piece but by simply turning the volume down it fixes it.

Going to have my N6P shortly and plans to have a nice case to have it get protected, however, most are now focusing on iPhone and Galaxy Mobile covers and get few choice from SGP and Amazon, so here please share your case founding and have fun.
I ordered this generic TPU case http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015GBA8AE?redirect=true&ref_=ya_st_dp_summary
It says it has shipped already.
I ordered the same but the clear option.
I ordered the MoKo case this afternoon, and it already shipped. Should be here Thursday. Just a placeholder until some nicer cases like Spigen come out.

Ultra Protective Case
I'll be waiting for the second batch of the device, because I want to see reviews, and to avoid any possible quality control issues that might initially exist. With this in mind, I obviously want to protect my investment, what with being a student on a budget. As such, I want to really protect my screen. In fact, just last week I shelled out an unplanned $120 to replace the screen on my S3 i9300, which fell face down in its ZeroLemon battery case. The screen wasn't cracked, but it was damaged in terms of the pixels. It started out with a purple spot, and got progressively worse overnight, to where it was totally black, and unusable. Does anyone know if a Ballistic, Trident, or UAG case will be made available for the 6P? Are there any other ideas as to the type of case I'm looking for, besides those I mentioned?
Thanks!

I sent an email to the manufacture today, I didn't yet get a response. One other buyer on Amazon (via a review) reported he got contacted back by the manufacture, and he pasted an email from them stating the photo is only a prototype. It makes sense as the case won't mail out for a full month. The month delay is OK with me because my phone won't be here before then.

Got my clear case today: http://www.amazon.com/LK-Scratch-Re...443751243&sr=8-4&keywords=Nexus+6p+clear+case
Looks easy to make a template to cut an opening wide enough. It's crystal clear, may not effect IR anyway.
Edit: Manufactures just sent email. Said to toss what they shipped and will send replacement that doesn't block the laser focus in 2 weeks (before the 6P arrives).

Took the words directly from me lol .would love this as well..maybe like burnt orange, wine red, lime or like motomaker with custom stripes or patterns...or even maybe even a limited edition durable leather back, too bad T-mobile and Verizon have like select colors models though .
Ditto, was just about to post this same exact question, lucky XDA does a similar post search
I'd like to get a couple of the other colors to alternate. Preferably OEM, even if it's go the other carrier logos.
EDIT: I'd take even slick metallic backs like the LG G4, at least vinyl skins would stick flat on that one. Like the Moto Nexus 6 has those "natural" skins made of leather, cork, or football leather.

Nice digging. I've seen these before on Amazon, but more on Ebay.
Skinomi Tech skins are another alternative, bugt they're just skins. I might go this route and add a clear case.

I'm desparately trying to find a wood finished/style back, or at least a case. No dice so far. I did come across this. http://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...astic-Case-For-V10-LG/904349_32504973777.html
Look just as cheap as the price, but at least they offer more options. They don't look like true back covers though

Found this one http://m.ebay.com/itm/Top-Quality-U...sid=p2056116.c100408.m2460&varId=590656742322
So I put Yootech NFC/QI sticker on my OEM cover, and was unable to salvage the OEM NFC chip that I had to remove to do it. I REALLY want a back cover that is of the same quality as the one the phone came with, or I want to just replace the NFC/QI stick with an OEM NFC sticker. That way, my back cover will stop sticking up slightly and driving me nuts any time I turn the volume down . . .
To that end, does anyone know if there's a way to buy an OEM back cover anywhere? I have found/seen all of the 3rd party ones, and they look kinda cheap. I love the feel of the OEM case.
Plain back cover I'm not too sure about but here is the LG OEM wireless charging back.

He has upped the price from $79. to $99. but it's still worth every penny.

I have that and it still sticks up slightly at the volume down button. Nowhere near as bad as the yootech sticker does but if he does not like what he has now, this may bother him also.

The CPR-120 wireless charging cover is thicker than the stock battery cover. It's normal.
This also causes some cases to not fit properly; the only one that fits perfectly is the Spigen Slim Armor.
I was only bringing it up because I don't know if that would bother him or not.
Thank you for letting me know about the Spigen Slim Armor.
I was going crazy trying to find a case that worked well.
I have 10 cases for this phone right now and the only one that comes close to fitting with the CPR-120 is one I have from Tudia.

It is not perfect it close. I might get the slim armor.
Well, at this point, I'd gladly sacrifice the wireless charging (which already isn't working) just to get my old cover back with NFC. I take it there are no OEM replacements out there that simply replace the stock back? I mean, I'd love some color options, but I'm fine with the original black back.
Barring that, has anyone spotted a replacement NFC-only sticker that nice and skinny?
Also, thank you for your suggestions guys!
The UAG and Speck Mightyshell both seem to work quite well with the LG CPR-120 wireless charging cover.
