Hello guys,
I was running CM 12.1 or something, and I upgrade to CM 13, but it's showing a persistent message saying "The setup wizard stopped", can not do anything on the phone, it appears again very quickly when I give 'Ok'.
I did a clean install,
So, I flashed CM 13 and GAPPS ( I tried with nano, stock, and pico. All with the same problem).
My device is a Moto G XT1033, falcon.
Please help me.

Same problem but different scenario
happened with me but after logging with flashing 14-12 nightly build from recovery over 13-12 build without gapps but i solved by re-flashing the build with wiping (data,system,cache,dalvik) then flashing gapps directly and before first run

i too had that problem just flash rom and gapps one after other dont boot ur device after flashing rom.

I was having the same problem yesterday.
If you are having CM Recovery please replace it with Custom Recovery ( Because CM Recovery does't wipe properly )
My problem was solved by the following steps-
1. Wipe data/cache
2. Sideload the cm12.1 snapshot (Do not boot system)
3. Flashed cm13 nightly (Do not boot system)
4. Flashed gapps micro( Do not boot system)
5. Wipe cache (just to make sure)
6. Finally Reboot Boot.
use TWRP and mount system.
go to TWRP file manager , browse to /system/priv-app/SetupWizard/here delete SetupWizard.apk and reboot.

Hey Guys have flashed CM13 on my Moto G Falcon. Everything wlse is working fine but the SMS feature of the phone has stopped working.

you should have flashed unofficial CM for xt1033, not the original CM for Moto G. Correct me if wrong.

Same here, were you able to fix it?
I flashed unofficial CM for xt1033 but stuck at boot animation an arrow moving in circular direction.
Can anyone help me.

restore to your previous stock xt1033 rom 1st,then follow my step:
1. Install Philz Touch Recovery(Latest Version).
2. Boot to Recovery.
3. Go to Data/Factory Reset.
4. Choose "Clean to Install a New Rom".
5. Choose "Yes I Will install a New Rom".
6. Go back to main menu in recovery.
7. Install Rom and Gapps.
8. Reboot.
work for my xt1033,4.4.2 asian retail
My moto g couldn't boot into cm after flashing it. I was stock 4.4.4 rooted and latest Philz touch recovery. Xposed Framework was also installed. I downloaded official cm11 m6 build(this is the only available cm11 build and I don't want to try cm12 now due to instability issues and no dual sim support). First I wiped everything, and also formatted everything for better results. Then installed zip through USB otg. Installation was successful. Then I did factory reset and rebooted. There was unlocked boot loader warning as usual and after that screen went black. Then many lines...after sometumes it completely went black. I pressed power button and welcome to cyanogenmod screen appeared. But touch screen was completely frozen so language set up was not done. No response from touchscreen. I again installed stock and it worked. Then again installed cm11 and same results. I tried all the combinations like flashing from USB oot or /sdcard or /storage/sdcard0 or side loading method or again and again installing continuously.....without format and with format...without wipe and with wipe.....but all these things just give me one result--- screen freeze at language set up.....also I can't see any cm logo when I boot for first time...it just goes directly to language setup screen. And guess what, volume controls are wworkin at language setup and screenshot works (power+vol down)...... I spent a couple of hours on internet searching for similar questions but found none. ..all were related to bootlooping. But not like mine ,......so please guide me. I have tried by cm wiki guides and other guides available on internet

I have the same problem , only that my model is xt1032 .
I do not get bootanimation and the touchscreen does not work

Thanks I will try this. One question this ROM has aerokernel. So in future if I wish to try your xperience cm12 or official cm12..will there be any kernel problems?

Idk I only use my work so I never used this CM rom but is more updated, cm 11 M6 is outdated and yes have aerokernel my xperience aren't cm12 , and cm12 have official version.
kernel problems nope, you have screen flickering if flash stock 5.0 LP and later try to flash custom rom based on android 5.0

Yes that happens me too bro when i flash cm13 it will give me blackscreen and when i try to flash both cm13 and gapps the gapps says error to me what gapps you use bro

use dual boot patcher to flash it and it should work

I'm here again to share a ROM (built by my friend) with you
This is a Flyme ROM based on Mokee 5.1 and......
Anyway it's beatiful and easy to use
Read it before you flash:
1.This ROM uses System2Data, which means part of the system is stored in DATA partition, so DON'T wipe data after flash complete, you can do it before flashing
2.List animation is enabled by default, you can close it in settings
3.If camera's display is wrong, choose camera settings-photo size-16:9
4.I strongly recommand to clean app data of "Search", there are some problem with it (due to source code, not my friend!)
This ROM is tested in XT1031, should working in all falcon devices
If you're xt1031, too. You might need to flash the TeleService Patch for Bugme.zip after installation complete, then change cdma subscription to "RUIM/SIM" and reboot to make RIL avialable.
Don't report any bugs or request anything, this project has been stopped for lazy reasons of the author, he may never update this rom anymore.
And I donn't know anything about development, I'm using AOSP7 now

Use philz touch recovery.. TWRP gives that error because the ROM uses system2data, which apparently TWRP doesn't support.
Edit: @JackyGreen Add this to the first post, or we will have this thread inundated with the same question lol

Thanks bro it worked with phils btw can you now give me a brief on how to switch back to twrp for flashing some other rom as phills has problems with new roms
still booting though boot animation needs resizing its way too stretched

Fastboot flash twrp the same way you did philz. You can also use Flashify app. :good:
Why are you guys are so persistent with screenshots ?
I do have some but I just want to post soon before my hands freeze, this rom is bootable, I've flashed it once and used it for several days, or why would I share it ?

Google is restricted here, so I didn't try, maybe the Google Installer in Meizu App Store would help

error 70 is due to less system space remains after flashing the rom in system partition

Install Rom but you will get error. And reboot in to recovery mode again from TWRP and install Rom again and boot without gapps. You need to wait long time and install gapps in same way. (Rom and Gapps need to install twice in my case) but my problem is playstore. I could not connect playstore......

me too, its a shame
The the download get completed phone goes to recovery mode but then nothing happens, waited for some time, tried multiple time to install the downloaded updated but nothing happens after it goes to recovery mode.
I don't want to flash it manually and set up all things again.
Is there any way i can install updated cm 14.1 manually and get the same app+ data as it was in previous??
