how i can root / install cutstom recovery to my phone : n915F , 5.1.1 , N915FXXU1C0I1
i saw a lot of topic said it is not possible and i need kernel permission , and another post didnot mention that and another post with different SW
i need the bottom of line please
how i can root / custom recovery my Note Edge ?

i have sm-n900 galaxy note 3, my problem is that i rooted the phone before 4-5 months, at that time it wasnt successful so i flashed stock firmware ( N900xxudna6_n900odddna3_inu ) it was all working well for 4 months, now last night , i wanted to root it again, so i tried by flashing ( cf-auto-root-ha3g-ha3gxx-smn900.tar.md5 ) but it got stuck on screen "firmware upgrade encountered and issue, plz select recovery in kies and try again". so i again flashed back ( N900xxudna6_n900odddna3_inu ) and my phone started up, but no i dont have any signal, it says null imei and unknown baseband, i donno what i m supposed to do, i dont know what efs is or anything, its so complicated and confusing, sm 1 plz help me in simple ways.
P.S : i know there are lots of threads regarding this, but i have very little knowledge about rooting and stuff so i cant understand those technical words, so plz help me,

Well i have a samsung s4 but a clone one , from china . I have the custom rom for it but i dont know how to flash it , ive used Odin but apparently quite confusing , because i can't find the download mode for the phone , the debug mode apparently in chinese language , and no option for updating like that , the phone has been rooted using super su , i want to update it to android kitkat , can anyone help me ?
You can not use Firmware or ROMs for the Real Samsung Galaxy S4 for this device. If you did, there is a strong possibility you will brick the device beyond repair.
Having said that, if you indeed have a custom Rom for this device, typically those are flashed using Custom Recoveries such as ClockWorkMod (AKA CWM) or Team Win Recovery Project (AKA TWRP).

Tried Kingoroot , Kingroot , one click root , iroot , vroot , baidu root , framework , autoroot tool but everything result failed . Tried build.prop to change device name & model to Samsung then try root but build prop occurs error on saving edited one . I need your guys help , Is it any other way to root or can I give to rooting mobile shop ? On settings > security > developer options > OEM Bootloader ? no idea about this uses . kindly help me

If one click root fails, then u need to flash root from custom recovery. U can Google search "How to flash root" and will get answers. 1st u need to download flashable root zip and then need to flash it from recovery. I am also Indian. It this helps then plz thank this

Same device using , its worked with kingoroot ( one or two time shows root fails , keep try i got root on 5th time ) use this version , kingoroot - 3.1 , superuser ( playstore version ) - 2.1.2

i have stock kitkat rom , i rooted it , then i installed device id changer , xposed , imei changer , xprivacy ,hide my root , root cloak , every thng is check marked in xposed .
now when i change the values in device id changer and click on apply and then check the IMEI in Imei changer app it shows old imei , i tried to reboot my phone . rebooted many times but IMEI not getting changed .
imei , dvice id is not getting changed .
Plz tell me what can be the cause ...

i badly need it bcoz i do it for uber bookings every time i had to create a new account , and if imei and device id not gets changed then it gives error - this device has already been used for account creation.

Hello guys , the last costum room i flashed was on Samsung S2 after it came out by 1 year ( old days ) , it was kinda a simple thing to do using ODIN , but when i looked for flashing roms now ! , Wow , things changed a lot , i dont remember that i ever encountered ( locked or unlocked bootloader ! ) was that existing back then ? Or it's a new thing
And what happened to ODIN ? Is it still being used ?
