Well i have a samsung s4 but a clone one , from china . I have the custom rom for it but i dont know how to flash it , ive used Odin but apparently quite confusing , because i can't find the download mode for the phone , the debug mode apparently in chinese language , and no option for updating like that , the phone has been rooted using super su , i want to update it to android kitkat , can anyone help me ?
You can not use Firmware or ROMs for the Real Samsung Galaxy S4 for this device. If you did, there is a strong possibility you will brick the device beyond repair.
Having said that, if you indeed have a custom Rom for this device, typically those are flashed using Custom Recoveries such as ClockWorkMod (AKA CWM) or Team Win Recovery Project (AKA TWRP).

I just recently purchased a Lenovo A830 due to it being a budget phone but now I am starting to regret it.
It came rooted I checked through (Root Checker) app, but it's mostly in chinese even after changing the language.
So I came across this custom rom recently and I am really interested to install it so I can get rid of the current stock rom.
Unfortunately I need to have clock world mod recovery installed, So I have been trying to install it through Flash tools v3.1304.0.119 -- it wouldn't detect even after installing the proper usb drivers which are ( MTK6589 Drivers ).
It did detect once and it went to a 100% in red and said something about checking the logs and that it wouldn't work cannot be specific about this because it's not doing that anymore it's just not detecting.
Can someone please try to help me and guide me to install or tell me what to do to install CWM on my lenovo A830, It would be much appreciated.
Any help would be really appreciated.

I own a samsung galaxy s5 G900f that I bought from Vodafone while living in Ireland. I also bought HTC one m8s which became my primary phone. So I decided to root my Galaxy s5 and play with it using different custom Roms. I successfully rooted my S5 and settled with cyanogemod 12.1 nightly. Cyanogemod felt lacking in feature to touch wiz. Last September the day of my flight back to home, I.e, Nepal, I decided to restore touch wiz for which I made the back up while rooting the device. I used TWRP for that. However the silliest thing I did was before loading the rom in the device or sd card, I wiped the entire phone via TWRP. After that TWRP wouldn't locate recovery file of either touch wiz or cyanogemod. Initial stages the phone would boot to TWRP mode and stay there. Now the phone still boots to TWRP mode, however the screen keeps flashing instead of screep staying still. I took it to the Samsung smartphone cafe here in Nepal but they were reluctant to help and asked me to try local repair centre who can't be trusted with the device. Is it a soft brick? Should I restore factory firmware using odin or is there any less extreme solution? Please help me out with this guys. You help will be kindly obliged. Thank you.

On my TF303K already rooted under JB 4.4.2 , I noticed that the original recovery didn't get the SAVE/RESTORE option to use a Nandroid backup
Is there a way for getting TWRP to work on this tablet. ?
I haven't seen yet any thread about that .
I'm wondering if I could try to install the same TWRP as NEXUS 7 2013 ( ASUS product), which processor, screen definition and a lot of materials are the same .
Is there a risk of brick ?
One more question : this tablet is running JB 4.4.2 rooted . Do I have to unroot it ( via SuperSU option) before installing manually the update to MM provided by Asus on the Web ,
or can this be done directly ?
If anybody heard of a solution around all that , I would be happy to read it.

very noob here. I have been scammed over Internet: i bought an iPhone 6s Plus (described as 'used') for 300€ and they sent me an HDC Clone (MTK6592).
I really hate the ROM (iOS 9) mainly because it lacks of many italian transaction and has a lot of Chinese software onboard.
I would like to install a CM13 or even a Slim0.9.
I managed to root the phone and tryied to install TWRP manually (as 6s Plus is not listed as supported device), but it fails as the recovery space is less than 6Mb.
Now I'm trying to install CWM in order to install roms (already ported one - Slim0.9 - to my stock device), but when it restart the phone after backup or install selection it simply start the original recovery mode and I see a message "No Command".
As I understand I need to install CWM recovery into phone but via CWM Rom Manager it sais that the installation must be manual because my phone is not supported.
Is there anything I can do to include my device into CWM or help someone of you to build the recovery for my phone?
I'm a skilled tech guy with programming language and software attitude.
Please, help me to not trash this ****ty phone...

Hello the phone is rooteable. But it is very difficult to do it because you need to create a custom recovery for it and get the firmware is impossible (because krono only gives the firmware to technicians). I have already unlocked the bootloader but I need the firmware to create a twrp custom recovery using twrpdtgen (here is the site if you want to see "https://github.com/twrpdtgen/twrpdtgen") and root it using magisk. My phone hardware is mt6580 if you have the same hardware I can help you with it when I get the firmware.
