I had a question to those that had the Official Samsung S-view cover for a while now. Has the cover broken in so that the cover lays completely on the screen now? I have seen many reviews where the cover doesn't seem to touch the screen, but these reviews were when they were brand new. Thanks

I have an Official black s view (came free with phone radioshack) and a fake one white from amazon for like 20 bucks.
The fake tends to stay off the screen and really doesn't fit on the back but the real one always stays flat. Only time its when i have it folded back for hours with pressure i.e laying it on top of the fold on the table. When i go to close it it makes a like a 20 degree angle but if i close it and flip it over on the screen for like 30 secs its back to normal. The fake one is just all over the place. must be the material.
I have the original one and it is working just fine. The reviews have been too harsh on this product in my pinion.

I'm using the Jison S view style case and I really like it. Genuine cowhide leather. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhzgqzgQDIg&feature=youtube_gdata_player

mine stayed close on the very first day, and no it wasn't a used item i bought. i have to warn you that this case imo would cause a lot of inconvenience on daily usage, it only looks good/professional.
i've had one for about a week now, so it's not 100% broken in. If it's closed for a while, it'll have no problem laying on a table and staying closed. If it's bent backwards for a while and then closed and set down, it'll prop itself open for a few minutes before settling down. It's definitely better now than on day one, so I have no doubt that it will turn out like everyone else in this thread and stay down soon.
I bought a flip cover (horizontal, book/wallet style) together with my note 4, it's one of these cheap ones from amazon that have a magnetic strip to keep it closed.
The problem is that magnetic strip, it seems it interferes with the s-pen making it completely unusable.
Another problem is that 90% of the flip covers on amazon (at least in europe and looking for a while) have that magnetic strip.
I used to have this one back on my note 2 http://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B009P6TG82 and I never found anything better than that, it's too bad there's no note 4 version.
Any idea if there are any like that? The official samsung ones do look good but it seems they replace the back, this means I can't easily remove the cover for insertion in a car dock.
Speck flipcover coming soon

Don't know how good it will be but the flipcover from Speck will be out soon. The existing flipcover they have for the Note 3 looks good and doesn't interfere with any phone/s-pen functions so I would assume it will be the same for the Note 4 version. I have always been a fan of the Speck products so I will definitely be checking it out once released. The Samsung flipcovers are nice and all, but not for $50.
I just received mine and popped it on instantly.
Guys / gals, this is by far the best presentation I have ever seen in a case/back cover. Way better than OEM IMHO.
It's real leather (smells like a new car with leather interior), cut is fantastic, quality is amazing. I put it on and popped on to my CHOEtech 3coil Qi wireless charging stand and it starting charging instantly, no worries about placement or finding the sweet spot.
The packaging it came in is like a compressed cardboard or particle wood casing you'd keep cigars in. I got the BROWN one.

Hey would you or anyone else have a TYLT VU Charger ? I bought one Amazon when they were on sale but I also have 2 cheaper knockoffs Itian's. All 3 are working for me I picked up the Black Leather Back. But on the TYLT I have issue where the phone will connect to Wireless charging and then disconnect it might do this up to 3 times or 2x and once the screen turns off it will be connected and can tell by the Green Light. The Itian's just plan connect and don't have this issue. I also have a Nexus 6 and it connects with the TYLT just fine without that issue.
Not sure if's really a issue will give it time since I just got the Leather Back today will see how it perform's.
Well now looks like my Itian's are having the same issue but now it won't even connect the light will just Flash from Red to Blue no stop.
Does this feel "soft"?
Current price is 10.49 without wireless charging. How much was it for the wireless charging version? They are currently out of stock so cant see pricing for that option.

I paid $16 on eBay from a US seller. It does have a nice feel to it but really don't matter to me since mine will be a case 99% of the time. I decided for $16 why not since the sticker along is $10-$15.
FWIW, I too bought the $16 eBay back, and was just refunded by the seller today. It has connect/disconnect issues, and heats my phone up way too hot. Seller claims he is removing them for sale, and sending the batch back to distributor. FYI for anyone considering this product t.

I bought the same, paid $14, mine does not have the issues you mentioned. I use a ChoeTech 3coil stand. It is warm while charging until full, like all my Qi devices..
I've had the case for a bit over a month now, ordered the white to match my phone.
The good is that the color matches well, apart from the lines you can see where the leather is applied, it pairs nicely with the phone. The wireless charging works great, and it has a generous amount of wiggle room when placing it on a qi charger compared to my old S6 which was tricky to place just right. It also feels very nice in the hand compared to the textured back, and is much more grippy surprisingly, especially when the phone gets a bit warm, getting your hand a little sweaty.
The bad parts are that it is noticeably thicker than the OEM cover, and you can feel it when you place your finger on the power button to unlock it. The other part would be more likely my fault, since I choose white, but it gets very dirty and it can be tedious having to take it off every so often to clean it. The third and last part, three clips on my case have already broken. They are on both sides, near the bottom. Most likely from constantly taking it off to change batteries, and cleaning it every few days.
I got one white leather and 2 plastic one's, I have stopped using it as some members said they had their phone wireless feature dead after a few weeks, has anyone had this problem.
I got the same case in black from Amazon for $18. It came in the same package and box. The material was fake PU leather. Returned it
They must be taking a loss or something. They're now going for $25 without the charger (still not available)
I can't seem to find any info on how to get wireless charging on the AT&T v10. Every QI sticker I find is incompatible with the AT&T v10. Do I need a pma sticker? Where can I get one of those? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B017SNFGZ0?
Since I didn't get a reply I bit the bullet and bought a wireless charger and a qi sticker. Hopefully it works
Yeah it works i use it on mine. LG actually has an official back cover with the qi / nfc sticker. And there are several aftermarket back covers with it already installed. Just buying the sticker you'll have to remove the old nfc sticker to install the combo one when it gets there. Hope this puts your mind at ease and gives at least a little bit of helpful information
Thank you . I ended up with mixed reviews and these official backs had seemed to have some questionable text on the back of the box.
I bought one off of Amazon. its super easy and simple to install.

Update: the sticker came in today, easy install and it even works with my OtterBox Defender case!
Update #2 the cheap sticker I got caused my phone to stay at a toasty 150°F when idling. To see if it was my phone causing the problem or the sticker I put tape over the connectors and ran it like that for a couple days to confirm that the qi sticker was the issue. So I spent the 60$ on amazon for the "official" back cover. The quality of the text and logos on the packaging is low and the description is for a quick View case. I complained to Amazon saying that I had been sold a fake and requested a refund. Within a hour of that message they refunded me and said I could keep the back cover! As I said it is fake but I have not experienced the same overheating issues and is of exceptional build quality. Honestly it's the best fake I have seen.
Yes but you have to buy the back plate I boughtmine for I think 10.99 and the qi charger was 9 something I spent a total of 25 and it works good long day at work I just toss it on the qi charger and I'm good
There don't seem to be any OEM Qi backs left., which is what I wanted. I got an aftermarket one, which is as thin as the stock non-wireless back, but that 1) doesn't fit all that well; there's always a gap at one corner or other, depending on which end I start with when putting it on, and 2) is at least moderately durable.
The one I have is starting to split, 3 months in. It charges fine (800mA at 5VDC, which is better than my Note 3 with OEM charging back)
So... if you are using a wireless charging back, which one are you using, and how do you like it?
BTW, I've been using a number of these wireless charging docks ($10 on amazon) and they're great if you want a spot you can just plonk your phone down and have it charging.
Hello, I'm using this on my phone and it fits and works perfectly.

Here is the back I purchased.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DB89ACG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I use it with this charger. I read a lot of reviews that the wireless charging is very slow and someone even said it was more like a toy... For me, the wireless charger easily charges my phone as fast as a 1 amp charger. You do have to have a minimum of a 1 amp wall adapter.
https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Cha...90870&sr=1-11&keywords=wireless++fast+charger
EDIT: I forgot to mention, I use a rubberized case with my phone, so it is rather thick and have no issues using the charger with it.
I think the charger and back that bishop mentioned are fine. I used similar, but I actually stripped the charging circuit out of the back, removed the black plastic cover and put it into a standard (genuine) Samsung back, which I know fits perfectly. In fact, I bought 2 of these backs and stripped out the charging circuit in both. I put one in a standard back and another in a Samsung S-View cover because the Charging S-View cover from Samsung is no longer available. Now I have the choice of either S-View charging or standard back. charging for when I use the VR headset. BTW, looking at the circuit for the backs I used, it looks like NFC is in there as well.
I bought two different Qi receivers (and used the original back), and I regret it. The first one died after a month or two, and the second one heated up the phone while charging and ruined the battery.
So I broke down and bought Samsung's wireless charging back, and it has been working perfectly.
where i can find original oem samsung back QI ?

I also use this back, (sold under the h-ber brand name on amazon) and it works fine. Of course the back does fit a little tight, and sometimes, you have to put it on the bottom (near USB port) first, or the clips don't clip.
I have phone in a incipio case which is two layer TPU and polycarbonate and pretty thick, but it charges fine.

I have used a samsung fast charging qi dock, and a pleson fast charging dock, which both work fine, but will only charge at normal qi speeds due to lack of qi fast charge support on the note 4.

What are you doing to hold those stripped pieces in place? Is it just packed so tight that you don't need anything or did you attach it somehow?

I just put the circuit panel onto the phone in the right position and then glue on the cover and then fitted the cover without moving the circuit panel. Press down well and the charging receiver is now glued to the case and in the correct position.

Thx a bunch for your prompt response. Sorry, what kinda glue is this? I know it gets hot back there and I've never been this best at choosing proper adhesive materials. I'm specifically using this setup for a contraption I found for the gear. I purchased a built in back but don't trust it's quality. Here is the gear contraption. It will be my 4th fan setup but this time, wifi charging is a possibility:

I used double sided tape when I did mine - not quite as permanent as glue, just in case it moved before the glue set.
