Hi there,
I've got quite a peculiar problem with my Nexus 5.
Last night, I left my phone on charge. It was working normally and the software was functional etc. However, once I woke up, the phone was constantly restarting itself, and wouldn't load past the boot animation. I tried to load up fastboot to enter the TWRP recovery, however, the phone froze on the load screen. I should also add that my custom boot animation was replaced by the CyanogenMod mascot.
This problem has never occurred before, and I really haven't got a clue how to fix it. I tried to use WugFresh's NRT to flash a factory image of Android 6, however, the command terminal indicated that each process had failed. This did not restore the phone to its original condition.
I should also point out that I have been running a CM 12.1 nightly, which has been very stable and I have been using this nightly, without major problems (bar the infrequent system UI crashes) for a couple of months. It is obviously rooted and I have a Nandroid backup, which I can't access for aforementioned reasons.
Please help me to bring back my phone! This is literally driving me nuts, and I haven't so far found a solution that works! I would be happy to clarify and elaborate upon any point of information.
Thanks,
Sami

HI Guys,
I've seen similar threads, so I'm sorry if I'm adding clutter, but I can't find anything that works yet.
Stats:
LG Phoenix P505
Android 2.0.3
Windows 7
I tried to do an upgrade to CM10 a while back, and I almost bricked it. I found this thread and tried it several times. Not sure if it worked or the phone corrected itself, but it was communicating with my PC.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1088046
Now all I wanted was to do a ROM backup with ROM Manager. That's it. Just thought it would be a good idea to back up the system. I select the operation and the phone reboots (expected). First I get the LG screen (normal), it skips the LG animation screen and goes to the Service providers animation screen, and gets stuck in a loop. I let it go for almost an hour in case it was actually doing the backup, but figured it should have been done by that time.
I reboot several time and ended up at the same place. I then tried to do the above thread again, but at the command prompt it kept saying, "waiting for device". I uninstalled the LG drivers and re-installed with the same results.
Any help appreciated. Thanks.
(backstory) Hi, ive had an Asus TF300T, for about 3 years now, unlocked, rooted it pretty early on... cycled between cyanogenmod and omnirom quite a bit, without really any major issues. Until today, i was running Cyanogenmods latest nightly build (CM11 Nov 5 2014), it worked just as any other nightly does a few bugs here and there, but nothing major and i hadn't done any major flashing or modding to the device. On my home from university, I turned my tablet off. And when i got home i plugged in the charger, and just as always the tablet turned on, showed the stock Asus screen, then changed to the Android boot animation... the animation then suddenly froze, and the device went into a boot loop... continuously... I dont know whats weong with it... tried to do a factory reset, i tried reinstalling the ROM, tried installing omnirom, but that got stuck on the OmniRom animation...
Im running Asus build 10.6.1.27.5
I had TWRP v2.7.0.1 installed but have now no longer works
id really hope there is a solution for this!
Thanks!
Edit: I dont know why, but when i try using fastboot or adb, the device isnt recognized. It doesnt show up on device manager either. I dont know if its the cable cause i bought it new, it says its can sync data, or a faulty charge/sync port....

^THIS!
I was just to open a similar thread, then i saw your post. I join your request for help!
A month ago i have done a favor to a friend by unlocking his tf300t and installing CM11 on it. A few days ago he comes to me with this problem. I've tried anything but still no success:
- restore a backup done before flashing CM11 --> restore ends correctly but the problem remains
- flash a rom (CM11 and OmniRom) --> flash ends correctly but the problem remains
- flash the stock firmware found on asus website (WW_epad-user-10.6.1.27.5.zip, the SKU is correct for my version) --> the flash process stuck (i had to force restart the tablet after almost 2 hours of "flashing")
Since the boot animation changes according to the rom, i suppose the flashing process works. But the problem remains: after a few seconds the animation freeze and the device restarts, in loop.
Informations on the system:
- build 10.6.1.27.5
- TWRP v2.7.0.1 (working!)
- adb works (i managed to set /data as rw and push the .zip file to flash)
- fastboot should work
Please help! I feel a bit responsible for bricking my friend's device
SOLVED!
Finally!
I had already tried this method, before requesting for help, but the first time didn't worked... I don't know why this evening the tablet decided to collaborate:

That worked for me! :victory:
Hi there,
For the past few days my Nexus 5 has been stuck on the Google screen when I try boot it up, it never reaches the boot animation.
How it all started:
I was installing a random game from the Play Store when it suddenly rebooted and froze on the Google screen. I tried multiple methods, and eventually flashed a new stock Lollipop build using the flash-all.bat method. I worked, for an hour or so, then it would keep rebooting and freezing on that start screen.
What I've done so far:
So far, I've tried almost every method to try and fix the issue. I've used the Nexus Wugfresh Toolkit, then I manually flashed the stock build with that flash-all.bat method, as well as manually flashing each file, also having no luck. I've tried that Nexus All-in-one-bootloop-fix, that didn't help, as well as flashing the stock KitKat build with no luck either. Also take note that it never gave me any errors, and I even tried installing the stock build on another PC to see if that would help (it didn't).
So yeah, I can get it into the bootloader, flash ROMs/zip files, install CWM, but no matter what J do I still can't get past this Google boot screen. Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated, as I don't think this is hardware issue, but I'm all out of ideas and thinking of going to buy a new phone tomorrow.
It's your power button - seems to be a relatively common thing. It happened to mine and the Play store got me a new one in less than 24 hours. (united states)
Hey everyone,
Up until recently, I've had no issues with my Zenfone 6. However last night the camera started acting up when I was trying to take a picture and the app suggested I restart my device inorder to rectify the problem. I followed the prompt and ever since last night my phone has been stuck in a boot loop. I have stock everything on this phone, I have experimented with roms and kernels in the past but didn't feel the need on this phone. I followed deadman96385 guide on how to unbrick your Zenfone but still have the same problem. I can't enter my recovery instead it just kicks me back to the boot screen. Unforchuntly, it is not unlocked so I have no way to flash twrp and install a fresh version of Android. I contacted Asus and their support suggested I find a local technician but I'm hoping git won't have to come to that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Please help me out as I messed my phone up real bad recently and I need to fix it as soon as I can as I have interviews right now and need to be updated with them.
So here's what I did:
I was using Pixel Experience ROM on Android 12, with OrangeFox recovery, it was working fine with no major issues.
I really wanted to try out Android 13 though it's still in Beta but I have heard good things about it, specially the one by Project Elixir.
But since I was already using Pixel Experience and loved the ROM so much, I decided to be on the safer side and look if they have a Android 13 ROM for my phone.
That's where the story began, I mistook the Redmi Note 7 forum (lavender) as Redmi Note 7 Pro forum, I forgot how they were two separate devices.
So I flashed the Redmi Note 7 recovery on my phone and it it didn't boot into recovery when I tried it to, then I downloaded the original (correct one) from OrangeFox's official site and flashed it after which the recovery works. But then as I tried installing the new ROM, my adb sideload kept getting stuck at "Starting ADB Sideload feature" and I couldn't make it work, so I flashed the new OS from my sdcard. It was all fine, I set it up and was loving the experience until I plugged it out of the charger. After a few minutes of plugging it out of the charger, it literally started rebooting and it restarts just in the middle of the boot animation. And when I manually power it on by pressing and holding the power button, it displays that It has no charge left.
I tried flashing quite a few other ROMs too, even Android 12 and 13 both, and at a point for some reason it also showed "system has been destroyed. press the power button to shut down" while booting into recovery but it went away once I re-flashed the recovery, and after no luck, I flashed MIUI but the same thing still persists.
I read in a few forums that it might be a battery issue which I too thought at first but the fact that it happened exactly after I flashed the wrong recovery bothers me. I thought installing the stock MIUI rom through fastboot would solve it by replacing every corrupted files and partitions but the issue seems to persist.
What might have been the issue and what can I do to fix it, and can flashing a wrong recovery cause this even if I have flashed the right one just after that?
