When i put in my device in the section: Type to find device... He cant find it.
Can you pleace make this is its all a bit easier for the M8s user to find what they are looking for.

Yes i know i can ask questions there. But every HTC model has there own forum (page) I don't think its the meaning that we ask the questions there because m8 and m8s have only the same looks but totally different under the hood
It would be the same like asking questions about the m8s in the m7 forum (page)

Hello, I'm new to this forum I'm not even sure if I'm in the right place on xda? Anyhow I recently bought an unlocked HTC one m7 from the open market that had been refurbished and rooted. The phone has a new front and back panel on it and I don't know which carrier it was previously on. Is their any way to dig around in the phone settings and find out which carrier it was previously on? Thank you

I'd just leave it there. Perhaps someone will see one or the other. Unfortunately older devices sections often get quieter after awhile....you'll have to be patient . ?

First of all hi I'm new here and I know nothing of android development,
I had started some work on earlier symbian platform but this is just different totally different and better than the brilliant environment.
Yesterday I bought a phone in $50 its MTK6589 291ppi 1GB RAM. I know these specs. are not very good these days buy in 50 bucks can you believe it?

If you want to upgrade from like JB to KK then how do you do it. Do you have to build another kernel as well.
What are the tools you all guys are using to get the things done.
Mediatek vs Snapdragon for which should I go for.
Is there a method to by which if the manufacturer does not releases the source then you can port CM to it or like L preview to a device running Cupcake {theoretically}.
Does XDA-University has a quick start PDF.

I have htc 820 desire dual sim, I rooted it and now updates are available. I flashed it with someone else's recovery img and now I am getting this error:

Dormant? Several messages have been posted yesterday...
That's the Q&A section of your device so all experts should be there. At first, try aksing in this forum then give a try to this thread if you have no answer in a couple days.
