CyanogenMod themes on non-CM rom - General Questions and Answers

Hey all, I've got a Nexus 6P, and i installed the CM13 Nightly. Not so impressed with the state of the ROM, but i fell in love with CM's theme engine. Is there any way to apply CM themes to a non-CM rom? I've googled around, but if there is a way, i havent figured out how to word the question to make XDA or google give me the answer.
Thanks and sorry if this has been asked before.

No there isn't. You can use layers on stock marshmallow (layers are better than cm themes)

Theme chooser ?

Do any of these roms for the inspire/dhd have theme chooser ? I havent seen it in the last 2 roms I've flashed ? from my Inspire 4G using xda premium
1. Yes. I know CM and cfX do. It's a CM feature, so all ROMs downstream from CM (most AOSP ones except aospX, which isn't CM based) do.
2. Next time you have a question like this, please read OPs and try them for yourself. It's what the rest of us did.
3. Since this is a question, it belongs in Q&A.

KitKat and Theme Chooser

I'm noticing that most kk custom roms don't include a theme chooser like most jb roms do. What's the reason for that? I've been searching for one but when the topic is brought up in the threads, the devs seem emphatic about not adding it. Were there changes in kitkat that make it difficult? Have any roms successfully implemented it?

I know liquid smooth has it. There reports of bugs. Apparently some stuff has changed that makes it difficult. I'm pretty sure xthemer xposed module works on kk now.

Theme app on stock kk

HI, any idea or reason that kk roms never have the TMobile theme engine? Its one of the reasons I stayed with Cyanogenmod after finally testing it.
When I said kk I mean the ones based on stock builds.

5.0 ROMs with CM theme chooser.

Are there any custom ROMs that have the CM Theme chooser yet? Thanks.

Nope, and id love to have a dark ui mod. I appreciate the cm12 roms but i hope we start seeing more customization built in. Now that we dont have xposed. Most of the 5.0 roms i have tried have basically the same features currently.
No, the CM team is working on the basic functionality of the ROM before implementing themes. It'll be added as time goes by.

New Kit Kat builds

Just wondering if anyone has any information about the kitkangs on android file host. I searched for d2lte and d2vzw and found them with the former search. One was resurrection remix I forgot what the other was. Both were built on the same date. I'll probably stick with lollipop but might go back if I can't get the universal moga driver to work after disabling SELinux. Or setting it to permissive. I also like the lock screen better on kk. Here's the link.

Sadly kk builds for the S3 are pretty much dead. I did look at the link you posted but only two of the 4 are roms.

Thanks for the reply shapes, yeah, I just happened upon the two roms while looking for new Lollipops I may have missed. And was wondering why all of a sudden someone had built new KK roms for our devices. Maybe to include new updates from CM maybe? I don't know. Hence my question, I guess, I should ask the builder of the rom's themselves to find the answer.

Probably your best bet. It doesn't seem to me like kk builds are being made anymore but of course I could be wrong
