Hello everyone! Just wanted to start off by saying thanks to all of you who are taking the time to read this. I am coming to you guys because I feel as if I will be able to obtain some assistance.
So I have noticed that the themes on the s6 edge are a bit...mediocre. I myself am by no means an expert, but from what I have gathered I know that the software used to create the themes are in no way difficult to use. I tried becoming a developer but it seems that I need to submit previous design works [of which I have none] so Im wondering if anyone here has any idea how I can create something for them. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Hi, I am looking to develop windows mobile apps for my HTC HD2 and I was wondering if there is a free online course or some places that I can learn everything I need to know to start developing ASAP, I hope to become good at this and I will be posting on the forums frequently but can someone help me out? It would be greatly appreciated if you could give me some links.

hey yo techburrow i am really new to smartphones and apps. i got my hd2 less than a month ago...but i feel the same way...it feels like it's really underground to learn and teach this stuff. i wish i new someone to teach me some of it...but i have learned more on this topic at this site in a week than anywhere else. it is truly wonderful. have you tried wikipedia for more info? i wish this site had a "xda term dictionary". i'm having trouble just figuring out what words mean...but maybe they do and i haven't found it yet. good luck...your first app should be for people llike you who want to know how to build there own apps and don't know how. "myappbuilder" or something...peace.

P.S. Don't expect to learn all this stuff overnight, it's a long hard slog to become any good at it. Even then you'll still find room for improvement.
Good luck and don't give up.

Im new to this, in every sense of the word 'NEW'.....i just did a little reading on hacking, next day rooted my phone. Searched all kinds of tools and downloads needed, thought about app development, however, im using samsung gem and there isnt a lot offered for it, For instance i cannot download clockworkmod because my device is not supported. As well as a lot of other things that are far out of reach for sch-100 users. Was curious if anyone would be making more of these items readily available for samsung gem users, or should those of us using sch-i100 think about switching to something else. As i said, im completely new to the whole scheme or i would muck around and see what i could do in creating myself. in the mean time i was hoping someone more experienced could work on creating more for the Samsung Gem sch-i100, or at least list what is compatiable with our devices......thanks

Hey guys, this is quite a wide question so I'm looking for a lot of opinions and strategies here.
An app I made is really starting to take off, and a couple of users have started offering to beta test for me. In the past I've just developed by myself and got some input from friends and family, but I'm thinking now that a more formalized beta process will benefit me, if only to get the feel of it for future projects.
So I've come to ask you guys about your experiences with running these kind of things. How useful are they? What tools were you using to organize reports and information? How did you go about selecting participants? How often should I be pushing new beta updates to the users?
Also useful would be opinions from people who were testers in a groupl. What made you want to test for that app? Was there anything the developers did that annoyed you?
Like I said, this is quite a wide topic, and I'm not even really sure what exactly I'm looking for here, so just posting whatever experience you have with these things would help me a lot

First let me thank anyone that can point me in the right direction in fixing my phone. Here is the problem, first somebody tried to root the phone however they pretty much bricked it. I now have a Sprint Samsung Note 2., It boots up and gives you all these choices on what to remove and modify. If you try to access any of the buttons NOTHING happens. So what I think I have to do is 1) ROOT THE PHONE, 2) INSTALL A ROM THAT ACTUALLY WORKS, AND 3) TAKE IT TO BE SWITCHED OVER TO MY EXISTING BOOST ACCOUNT. How you masters of the cellular world are able to figure this stuff out has me in awe. This newbie would GREATLY APPRECIATE IT you guys are my only hope of getting this phone to work.
Thank you in advance,
A confused Newbie......

look around there. I did a quick look and didn't see any un-bricking posts, but I'm sure some one there can help you figure it out.
