[Completed] Samsung Galaxy S6 File Explorer Root CSC Help - XDA Assist

I have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 Rooted using the Ping-pong Root for the S6. Android 5.1.1. I am trying to use the fIle explorer root to change the csc along with the text edit. My question is when I open the App (Fx), I see two system sections. So, Do I use the System(Root) to get into System/System/csc and edit the features.xml/others.xml or do I use System to get into System/System/csc and edit features.xml or others.xml. I asked because I have features.xml in both. I really don't want to mess up, but I want to have continuous music while I take pictures and videos. So, my question is which section do I use, along with whatdo I actually do with it? Because I have yet to see in my search one to help with my simple question from a lost noob.
Features.xml looks like this
<CscFeature_Camcorder_DoNotPauseMusic>false</CscFeature_Camcorder_DoNotPauseMusic>

Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
Actually both solutions redirect you to the same path. The /system partition is at the root of your device.
Hope that helps.

But neither of them work

So you can post your question in your device forum help section to get further help:

Good luck!

Which carrier variant of the S3 are you trying to root? If it's the Verizon variant I would recommend checking out this guide on how to root Android 4.3 on the Verizon Galaxy S3. If it's not the Verizon variant I would recommend taking a look at the XDA Root Directory Samsung device section, and choosing the appropriate model Galaxy S3 you have which will take you to the correct rooting guide for your device. For future reference questions like this should be posted in the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting section or your appropriate device forum Q&A section. Let me know if you have any questions I'll be happy to help you out .

If you upgrade your device through the latest official OTA to Android 4.4.2 towelroot will work just fine to root your device. Otherwise using a computer is going to be your only option I'm afraid.

im trying to change/replace file's on my root explorer it looks fine but when i open up the app that i changed the file's at, nothing happens just a default file when i get back to root explorer i dont know whats wrong please help
Hi,
You can ask for help in your device section, found here...
> Samsung Nexus S > Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Do try to include more details, like what exactly you're trying to change, some details about your devices...rooted or not, etc....and errors you are getting exactly. I'm sorry, but I didn't understand your issue based on what you've wrote.
Again, ask in the section I linked though.
Good luck. ?

[Completed] Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 won't boot.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300.
My S3 is rooted and I was browsing through the root folders.
I saw some files which were .bin files and I decided to delete them (thought they were junk files)
I then restarted my phone and it will not come on (Freezes with 'Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-I9300' displayed).
I have checked out every single forum and none of them are working for me because I cannot get the files which are required (.tar .tar.md5).
It is really frustrating because I do not have enough money to get it repaired (this is my 4th phone this year).
And now it is past midnight and I am crying.
Please can someone help me?
Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
You need to flash a Rom or download the stock files to flash via Odin. All can be found in your device forum located here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3
You should be able to locate everything in the General Section and Development section.
Good luck
