Oxygen Os for One+1 - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all..
I'm currently running Euphoria rom and I'd like to install Oxygen OS on my 1+1.
Where can I found the latest version?
There seems to be several versions but I'm not sure what is the latest one and what is the version that supports Oneplus One and NOT OnePlus Two.
Thanks.

Thanks. Seems to have too many issues at the moment. Will wait and see if it gets stable.
Shame that they didn't release OOS 5.1.1 already....
I'm using Euphoria ROM and though is stable, I'm was holing for a OOS with latest android version or at least 5.1.1
Any recommendations for some other ROM?

[Q] CM11 and Android 4.4.3

So there's news of 4.4.3 hitting android users soon but mostly nexus users are getting it first, but how do you get the update when you have CM11 installed? Does it act as a any other update would with stock?

if your saying CM11 (4.4.2) will update to 4.4.3 thats a no, it looks like 4.4.3 might be a huge update so most likely cyanogenmod will work on it and put out a CM11.1.
So if and when 4.4.3 is released by CM I'd have to do a full wipe and flash?

No, not nessesary to wipe...but the question is when cm will be merged with 4.4.3..hope will be soonâ˜ș
Setting > About this device > update cyanogenMod
Then download the lastest nightly and it will offer to reboot and install all by itself.
No wipe, no install of gapp required.
Enjoy

No not really, trebuchet is a little smoother it seem but the way i understand it is that 4.4.3 is only 92mb on nexus units and is mainly bug fixes and security enhancements. As far as cm11, i havent noticed any big differences but i think theyre easing us into cm11S.

The nightlies should be merged with the new source. I doubt the stable releases are 4.4.3 that's how most of the ROMs are right now.

Where do I find the official cm11s nightlies?

I would like to use the official ones they are testing for our phone. Can someone lend me a hand?

No such thing as CM11S nightlies.
Only CM11 nightlies, which are located here: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=bacon
Mind me asking what the difference is between the 2 cm11 Roms?

CM11S is an outdated CM11 ROM meant to be an official OEM release. It comes with Hexo CM11 theme.
CM11 updates every night, bug fixes fixed real-time pushed to you every day.

CM11S isn't really "outdated" its just the most stable release that passes the QA (Quality Assurance) test and is certified by Google.
CM11 more or less gives you a preview of what will be available in the next OTA. You can add your CM11S apps onto CM11 nightlies. http://www.cmxlog.com/11/bacon/ for the changelog.
To OP, you could have simply Google searched your answer.... next time please do that.

Only reason why I call it outdated is because when CM11 had the latest touch fix to fix ghost touches, I'm all up to my friends saying "THE TOUCHES FEELS SO GOOD U SHOULD TRY IT OH WAIT HAHAHAH".... Yeah... I'm weird.

Well... to be fair, you can use CM11S and use a custom kernel to have the new touchscreen firmware.
It just hasn't been updated because they're still working on other things other than the touchscreen firmware.
I do agree that they should do a small hotfix on that part, instead of waiting for everything all at once.

That's true, but it's more of a reason to convince people to switch from 11S to 11 or just AOSP custom roms in general.
But you're still missing out on newer potential features for the phone still only available to find on AOSP over 11S....which required a rom upgrade, like the screen artifact update.

Actually CM11S XNPH33R + kernel with the new touchscreen firmware has no problems... strange right?
No screen artifacts whatsoever

But that's the thing.... It doesn't have screen artifacts because it doesn't have the partial display commit update in the room so kernel developers don't add that in... Right? o.o

Yeah I got it, RIPng uploaded it on the Camera thread. Good to get your version on Mahdi tho!
Actually...38R is already outdated compared to CM11 nightlies God knows how long it took for them to get it certified...could have been a week or two.

[Q] FC on SimCity Buildit

Hi, I can't seem to play SimCity Buildit on my Tab 2 7.0 because it always FC's while loading. Even after the new update, its still happening and it works fine on my Nexus 5. Anyone else having the same problem?
Which rom are you using.
I believe I'm using OmniRom, not sure what build though.

What android version are you on?
Try updating to Omni 5.1 If you are on Omni 5.0

Cyanogen Mod 11S, with an OTA to Cyanogen OS 12.
(I bought one last month)
The OnePlus One never ships with Oxygen, it's an optional OS that must be installed by the user.
Oh really, thought it would be cm12 standard right now. Nice you get cm11 with optional cm12 update.

Doesn't matter what comes installed on the phone, even if it comes shipped with Lollipop you can go back to KitKat easily.

Any chance of an Android 7 port for the M8?

I am moving to the M9, but have a couple kids still running M8 and was just wondering if anyone out there has heard of any work on an Android 7 rom for this phone?
There are a few people iirc that are working on porting it over but not sure if it'll ever happen as we don't have a nougat kernel for sense. However, there are AOSP and CM based ROMs available that are nougat
i saw some videos about it and its quite awesome
Lineage OS

I don't understand why after flashing Lineage or RR or CDroid - my phone works very slowly, Ican't and to me don't do any calls.
But mobile 3g and WiFi catch veru quickly and see my operator too quickly.
So why ?
May be you have any solutions?
Thanks.
