Low volume when switching to left ear - HTC One A9

Okay I noticed it today I was on a call with somebody and I needed to take down a note so I switch my phone to the left ear and I noticed that the phone call was very low. Okay I don't have an ear problem on my left cuz I confirmed that using my wife's phone its a moto X and the call was very loud. So can someone confirm this if your having the same problem or is there a setting that needs to be changed.

Hi there,
It seems that it is caused by the position of the receiver of A9.
I have just tested my A9. I moved my ear from the left side to the right side of the receiver and I noticed that the sound volume changed from loud to low.
I think the actual receiver should be placed near to the left side of the whole receiver.
Maybe your ear was near to the right side of the whole receiver after you switched the phone to the left ear. Try to adjust your ear's position next time.

how to test earpiece? please help!

my earpiece stopped working after less than 10 days of phone use (htc touch cruise). the phone hasn't been dropped or damaged in any way. if i use a headset or the external speaker the phone works ok (the mic does't appear to have any problem). is there any way to test the internal earpiece before sending it for service? i mean any way to see if the earpiece can produce some sound and it isn't physically damaged. 10x.
It's a crap. Mine always have lower volume at right piece. Changed it few days later.

Issue with Microphone

Has anybody else noticed that if you cover that tiny microphone on the top panel of the phone (hole next to the headphone port) then people can't hear you at all? If I'm lying down in my bed and the top of the phone is touching the pillow under my head, then people can't hear me at all until I make some room between the pillow and the phone.
This has never been an issue before and I thought there was another microphone on the bottom side of the phone, on the other side of the speaker? Shouldn't that still pickup something and the other mic should be used for noise cancellation or something, I assume?
Is it just me? Perhaps my phone is defective. Can someone please cover that top mic and see if they have the same issue during a call?
Thanks!

[Q] Nexus5 Speaker problem

i just wna check if my nexus5 have problem with the speakers.
when i cover the left side of the speakers on the bottom, i almost cant hear anything from the right side. is this normal? i can only hear sound from left and even if i max out volume and block the left side, theres no sound at all from the right side
Yes, It's perfectly normal. The right side grill is of the mic... The device has a single speaker!

At&t one x strange question

Is there any way to change the in call Mic to run off the speaker phone mic? Maybe a mod or something? My bottom Mic went out and I can only talk on my phone using speaker phone or Bluetooth and that gets old but I don't have the money to replace the bottom Mic right now.

Tiny static ticking noise from ear piece/ top speaker anyone?

I have noticed that there is a very quiet subtle ticking sound coming from the top ear piece at all times, even when the screen is off. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this/ can test to see if their device does the same. I've checked my other phones to see if the same thing occurs and noticed that an old moto g (2014) also has a similar sound so I'm thinking it could just normal if the phone is not turning off the speaker and instead is just silencing it with the current still running throught the speaker module.
It's mildly irritating now that I know its there so I wanted to see if all devices have it or not, thanks.
