This is not a STOCK ROM I was lucky enough to build one from parts and pieces of other stock firmware's that are available for download. Only use this rom if you turned your SM-S820L into a $120.00 bookmark!. As of right now there is no Stock firmware for this device and lots of other straight talk phones also.

please am Glory Churchill from Ghana and i bought this phone Samsung infuse 4g model number SGH-I997 everything is working perfectly except for tethering WiFi. when i try tethering it tells me to go to at&t to create an account before i get to tether but at at&t site i will have to pay. please kindly direct me on how to do this successfully and also i would like to b assisted on upgrading my phone from fro-yo 2.2.1 to ginger bread 2.3.6 but i am really having difficulties in downloading the stock ROM for my phone because the sites are all directing me to hot-file.com making it impossible to download due to a apparent close down. please i would be very grateful for your time and assistance. thanks for reading.

Hello Glory,
here is a guide for how to flash a new firmware to your device.
In this Q&A section of your device you can post your question about the wifi tethering issue.
Maybe it will be fixed by flashing a new firmware automatically.
General information:
For wifi tethering your phone needs to be connected with the internet via your mobile carrier ... so your mobile contract must cover this mobile data option.

Most apps keep force closing, I try to download stuff from apps such as zedge and all I get is a failed to download message. I'm using 3.0.7 dynamic Rom with GPE 3.0.3. Please help..I'd appreciate it.

It may be a rom issue, in which case asking for help in the thread you downloaded the rom from is best.
Otherwise, we need to know your device make and model number to point you towards help.

My dear knowledgeable friends I had BlissPopV3.1 and it was working fine, but then I tried to flash some other ROM ..... long story short ever since BlissPopV3.2 got released I have been trying to flash it but its not going past the Samsung logo with model... So due to my bad luck and lack of knowledge now I cant go past recovery/odin download mode....
Could anyone please provide detailed info on how I can flash BlissPopV3.2 (if possible with download links) and which versions of recovery/kernel etc. I should use...

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. You are probably going to have to flash the stock firmware with Odin at this point. See sammobile.com for the firmware.

You guys (admins) have made this site so difficult to navigate, so please move this thread to the appropriate subforum.
Anyway, I currently own a Samsung Galaxy Neo Plus (i9060M) and would like to make a backup of the stock rom as it is not available for downloading ANYWHERE! Yes, this must be a very rare low-end device that nobody uses.
How can I accomplish the above-mentioned task without rooting, if that's even possible.
Also, do any of you know of any methods I could try to root my device? *this is not as important, as I will probably try all possible steps JUST AFTER BACKING UP the stock rom., but if you have some idea, I'd appreaciate it*

If I couldn't find and install the stock ROM, I wouldn't mess it up unless throwing the device in the trash bin was no loss. What about these?

Good day! First, I'd like to apologize for creating a new thread which may be a duplicated of an old thread. Trust me, I read most of the threads related to Samsung Mega 6.3 where Kernel Failed after installing a custom or stock rom and I couldn't seem to find the right thread that will help me solve my problem. I know you guys are very busy and I would be very grateful if you'll give me minute of your time to help me out.
Here's my problem: Few days ago, I bought a secondhand Samsung Mega 6.3 I9025 LTE (4.4 kitkat) version here in Malaysia. I rooted the device and installed TWRP to be able to install a customer ROM. I backed up(i was under the impression that it was backed up) the files before wiping out and installing a new customer rom. The custom rom failed to install and what made it worst was I couldn't find the back up anywhere in TWRP. So I decided to download a 4.2 Stock rom(i know this is a mistake but i couldn't download the 4.4 stock rom in sammobile) which I found online. I flashed it through ODIN, it was successful but I got error when I turned on the phone.

Now, even if I flash TWRP & SU through ODIN, it just doesn't go through the phone, I dont get to enter recovery mode. I think I brick my phone. So, please, here's what I possibly need.
1. What do I do know? I'm begging, help me out.
2. Where else can I download a free 4.4.2 Stock Rom? I links in the previous threads are no longer working and I really cannot download it from Sammobile.
3. If you can send me a link visa email; [email protected] or PM me here as to where I can download it or how to resolve this, I would really appreciate it.

Hi, thank you for responding to my query. I still could not find any solution to my problem. My phone no longer detects twrp, it just doesn't go to twrp even after flashing it through odin. i also couldn't find any link as to where i can download the stock rom for free or if anyone made it. samsmobile doesnt work for me. hope i can get help :'crying:
