[Q] Root Android Gingerbread 2.3.6

Hi there,
I recently started using Android phone. I was a Windows user. Now, I need to root my Android smartphone and I am sure that you guys will help me solve this issue. Thanks. I am giving you my phone's specification's below and if anything is not given, please ask for it. I hope you guys will help me on your earliest and thanks for reading and for your time. [Completed] Rooting Samsung S5 Duos (SM-G900FD)

I have Samsung (SM-G900FD) with Lolipop(5.0) and I want to root it without tripping the knox. I have been searching the internet for past couple of days and I have found a way. It involves, among other steps, downloading and installing the "towelroot" apk, but here is the problem. Towelroot method does not work with Lolipop and I have to downgrade the software to Kitkat(4.4.2), the software version my phone came with.
Once again I have searched thoroughly to find a way to downgrade to Kitkat and I came to the understanding that I need to download official KitKat firmware from sammobile and install it manually, but I don't know which firmware to download from the list that appears against my phone's model.
I have following questions:
1. How will I know which firmware to download from the list.
2. Once I have downgraded and rooted my phone, can I upgrade to android 5.0

[Completed] Installing Custom ROM onto Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7?

I am basically a noob, but I know my way around computers and I can do a few advanced things. I can follow instructions well. So, could you please tell me, could I install a Custom ROM onto my device? (See title).
I am looking to install CyanogenMod (12). My device is rooted. I am unaccustomed to installing Custom ROMs, in fact this is my first attempt. If there are already instructions on this, please point me that way. I'm new to these forums, but I have used them to solve some of my problems.
Stock SAMSUNG ROM is installed.

I cant root my lg phone. I have tried many methods such as kingo root, kingroot, towelroot but they did not worked.
