Hi all,
I have had a TF-101 tablet for years, and recently bought a keyboard/dock for it. The dock wasn't charging, after trying all of the strategies to make it charge my advice was to buy a new battery for it.
New battery is now installed but seems to be giving weird results. The dual battery widget is reporting either the correct charge level for the battery or 0%. It seems that when it is reporting, the dock battery works - when it isn't, the dock battery is ignored.
In testing I first charged everything up. The charge cycle looks like this on the dual battery widget:

}
Note that the dock battery has charged from 70% to 100%, when it was reporting a charge. The green indicator came on at some point also (which I had never seen before).
On discharging it looks similar:
Note here that the dock battery seems to have slowed down the discharge of the tablet battery, when it was reporting a charge.
The tablet battery charges and operates normally when the charger is plugged into the dock. All other keyboard functions work fine.
Does anyone know what the problem could be here? Thanks in advance for any help I may get.
Hi there !,
The dock battery may not be connected properly. I reccommend trying on another TF101 tablet, to isolate the issue between the device or keyboard .
When you post the results, i will be happy to help further
Please hit thanks if i helped

Hi guys, I've flashed the 4.2.1 ROM by albinoman887 and only when the screen is on the lowest brightness it uses a lot of battery, really quickly.
Thread can be found here
When it's on standby the battery lasts for about 7 hours, but when it's on it lasts for around 45 minutes. Please help
I've tried
- Wiping battery stats
- Calibrating battery.

Your horrible cell signal is at least part of the problem. Your phone is constantly pinging the towers looking for a better connection. That's a serious battery hog.
You may have the wrong radio for your carrier. Or you may live in a dead zone for your carrier.
Also, is this your first battery cycle after a full wipe? I get results like that for the first discharge cycle after install. But then it becomes fantastic. Drain the battery all the way until the phone shuts off. Then charge it using a USB cord on your computer (not the standard power charger) for an hour past when it says 'full'. The slower USB charge can help to give it accurate voltage readings while charging so it doesn't stop charging too early. See if that helps.
The battery on Albino's 4.2.1 is pretty spectacular for most people, so the good news is that this is probably a fixable issue on your end.
The signal was when I'm out and about, most of the time I have 3-4 bars on HSDPA, I may do a full 24 hour charge or get a new battery
I have this problem too.But if i flash last build,baterry life is good.

Using the charger in the box charges my phone in an hour. When you plug your phone in, does it say fast charging in the notification bar?

It says "cable charging"
If you are using the original charger and cable it might be faulty or maybe the phone port is faulty. Either way you should try a different charger.
Its supposed to say fast charging.

I have my galaxy s4 charger and charge the s4 really fast, but with s6 is the same problem as the fast adaptive charger
hey, did you fix that problem?
Hi,
I've recently bought a Sony Xperia ZR refurbished. It was really smooth and all, then suddenl it stopped working. It turned out it was the battery which was empty. I bought a new official sony battery, and the same thing happened to me, but I had the time to take those screens.
I've tried charging it offline, while turned on, with fast chargers, with a sony official charger... I don't know what I can do next!
Thanks in advance for every answer or piece of answer you can post.

A lot of people seem to have this problem and it seems to be the usb charging board that is faulty, some said that changing the charging board fixed the issue for them You should try wiping cache in recovery or even a factory reset before you opt for swapping the board.
Or go for an external charger.
But what about the temperature sensor that shows -30°C? Is it linked with the usb charging board or is it something else?*
And I can only find micro usb ports, not the entire charging board for my device... Do you think there is a way?
I've already done a factory reset before flashing a CM rom so it must not be in cache.
I have some new informations that might be helpful!
First, when I turn on the phone, it always starts at 6% then slowly grow until the real %. Is it then a hardware or a software issue?
Also, friday, I let the phone charging through saturday within offline mode. The battery was still to 20%. However, I charged it again sunday morning for 30-40mn and it was filled to 60%! (the higher % I ever get)
I don't know if it can help...
Hi guys! Greetings
So since my phone hasn't able to do fast charging (and I did all possible available options, like use new cables, change the charger, changing the new flexy charge, clean the stock micro port USB on stock flexy charge, checked the settings to turn on the fast charging, bought a new battery with same capacity, and so on). And all these options don't solve my issue, I even went to repair shop which they only replace the flexy charge to a new one (they guarantee it is original and not some chinese-look-like).
But I had in my mind that something on my IC is damaged or has a faulty power management. Maybe. I've had discussion last month in this forum too. I'm frustrated with normal charging like I should wait for six hours to complete full battery. The math didn't do the right thing. If 3220 mAh divide by 1667 mA (I got this number from a stock Samsung charger), it should be around 2 hours. But apparently, I've come up with a new idea. I bought a desktop charger which comes like this:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
It needs to connect through an adaptor that outputs 1A. And connects it into the desktop with micro USB. It's practical and easy to use. It's a good accessories.
My questions is:
1) Do you guys know alternative charger that similar in this photo? Maybe that could output more than 1A. Or any other option, so I could charge my battery without plug it in my phone.
I don't like use extended battery that exceeds capacity of a stock battery. I fear that it could damage my phone for some reason
I have Xiaomi 12s ultra, i was extremely happy with battery life.
One evening camera was recording while charging by mistake, when i wanted to check, it was 35>56 in 40 minutes, and phone battery charging was very slow because it was unbelievable hot. Did i just killed my battery?
I think battery is draining very fast after this. Can you share usage stats?
Is there any way to undo this, like draining battery to 0 and charging to 100?
Before this day i was using 20-80 charging method to save my battery. All efforts are gone i guess.

Yes, phone batteries don't like charging and draining at the same time. However, it could just as easily have burnt out or permanently deteriorate the quality of some electronic component.

Yeah i know. I hope camera sensor did not get any damage.
Yesterday i get about 5-6 hour screen on time, 14 hours without plugging with wireless internet only, %45 left. How much did my battery lost of its capacity with that incident? I guess my battery was better. Thanks for the chip in 12SU it didn't go on charging. It could have exploded.
