[Q] Unbrick/back to stock HTC One S, HTC__y13 model. - HTC One S

Ok so my HTC One S went to boot loop during Friday night. I some how managed to get it back to factory setting even though I don't know how because every time I tried to go to factory reset from bootloader phone just went back to bootloop. Well once I got to factory state I of course had lost all my photos which I wanted to recover. So I used this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583427 to root my phone in order to recover photos. Well I could not recover photos and my phone went back to bootloop.
At the moment I can't access recovery or factory reset. When I try to access them phone gets stuck on the HTC screen with red text "This build is for development...". I can access bootloader and fastboot/fastboot usb but don't know how to proceed. Any advises?

Thank you for the info, but when I relocked my boot loader with
Code:

and tried to run that RUU I get the following error from installshield wizard

[Q] Unlocked bootloader, HBOOT-2.00.0002 back to STOCKrom

I found out that problem i was having with my touchscreen is hardware related, so I want to get my mobile phone back to full stock. I read so many things about installing RUU, flashing this, flashing that, hboot this that i'm totally lost going true 10+ topics. If anyone could help with some direct instructions, would own you big time.

Hi there, im a bit of a noob here and need a little help determining what RUU to use on my rooted HTC One S? (It's O2 UK branded)

Can you help me what RUU i need to use?
The reason for all this is that i upgraded OTA to android 4.0.3 then 4.0.4 and now my wifi has "Error" on it.
So i was hoping to reflash via RUU to resolve it, I have a nand backup TeamWin TWRP, even flashing those backups doesnt fix the wifi "Error" issue.
If anyone can shed some light on what to do, i'd really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Darren.
WiFi "error" fixed, but ...
Just to follow up here folks, if anyone has/had similar issue...
Since i couldn't use my WiFi connection to try look for another OTA update, I used the "Internet pass-through" -to- USB cable to my PC as my internet connection on the phone. I downloaded the OTA update from 4.0.3 to Android 4.0.4. WiFi "error" fixed, but now i have the common WiFi authentication bug that seems to be common on the HTC One S. I can connect to my WiFi network when WPA is off, and the network is open, as soon as i try connect, WPA on, i always get authentication failed, invalid pass. Pass is 100% correct as other devices connect to it no problem.
Seems many people have this issue.
Anyway, i may journey on with this issue, and hope JellyBean 4.1 (due for release now) comes to my network on O2.
Thanks,
Darren.

[Q] ReLocked & Stuck At Boot Menu

In an attempt to install cyanogenmod I have got myself in a mess.

Selecting REBOOT (with no volume key pressed) reboots straight back to this same menu.
REBOOT BOOTLOADER does the same thing.
BOOTLOADER shows the HBOOT menu.
From HBOOT:
RECOVERY reboots to FASTBOOT
FACTORY RESET reboots to FASTBOOT.
While in FASTBOOT I am able to connect via the fastboot command from my PC
$ fastboot getvar all

But as I'm relocked, I can do much from fastboot.
And, being stuck as the boot menu, ADB is not able to help me.
Is there any thing I can do to recover this phone (HTC One S)?
Thanks for any advice.

[Completed] Can't install RUU on bricked HTC One M8s

Hey guys,
So... I've got a little problem. I've got a bricked HTC One M8s and I'm trying to install a RUU which gives me the error 171: "Waiting for Bootloader" (It does restart my phone into fastboot USB). There is currently no OS installed. Fastboot is recognizing my M8s but ADB can't see my phone anymore and most of the time I get the message "Waiting for Device" (used to work). Because I tried to install the RUU I relocked my phone (fastboot oem lock) so TWRP recovery can't load atm.
When I boot into Bootloader I get this information:
*** Software status: Modified ***
*** RELOCKED ***

Could someone help me out how I can fix this problem and get my M8s to work again with a stock Android version?
Thanks!
Hi !
Find the official RUU for your device download website and try again , it should exactly match your device variant
Here is a post which suggests a possible fix https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68717380&postcount=2
Some more threads specific to your device here https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/one-m8s-general
Good luck !
