Hello guys,
I'm not sure if this idea has been raised in the past or is even possible.
But is it possible to create an app which allows sending of SMS using the default/native Win Mo GUI for sending SMS, but not using the default carrier sms gateway but instead using an sms provider (who have their own API for sending sms messages) (e.g. many VoIP companies who also offer cheap sms). The data would be sent over 3G.
Any ideas?
I think such an app would be very useful to many.
Hello
Messaging APP:
Is it possible to use port numbers(to Send SMS) in Android App like we use in J2ME. So that only those App which have the same Port Number
can listen.
Problem Faced:
There is an Application X in Both Users A & B.
When we tried sending SMS from A to B using our X Messaging Application, The message will go to our App Inbox as well as Native Messaging.
Ex:
There is an Application X in Both Users A & B.
A sends sms to B. Only X's INBOX will get notified about the SMS and not the Native INBOX and should not store messages to Native Inbox. only application X will know about the sms.
It would be helpful if we get some solutions so that we can avoid the messages going to Native Inbox.
Thanks in Advance

Could you please make this thing clear to us?
Signed up and confirmed my number, how can I send sth. now? Is there an .apk for phone?
I use "flash sms for HTC" from the market, it work fine for me
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.jomegasoft.flashsms
This application keeps track of SMS notifications of incoming calls when you are not available, each mobile operator provides a different name (Missed Call Alert).
- When you receive one of these SMS you will get a notification and a call log with your contacts is updated.
- Clicking on items in the list you can call, send SMS, see the contact details, etc...
- The Find SMS feature allows to clean up SMS messages by importing older calls in the program
This program is free and supported by ads banner and reviews on the Market.
If you are a customer of a not supported mobile operator, or have problems in the recognition of SMS, send me an e-mail with the text message that usually get.
NOTE:
- Any Task Killer can interfere with the operation of the application. Be sure to place the application on the white list.
- If you use Handcent SMS, GoSMS or other applications to manage SMS remember to activate priority option in Settings.
- Finally, to make the application work it must have been opened at least once after installation.
Please post a reply with the text of the SMS you usually receive to let me add support of your country.

Hi
using multi-user profiles with marshmallow: the list of phonecalls (history) and all sms are for all users the same. Using 2 sim cards and separating business and private contacts in one phone it makes no sense to have only that 2 options:
1. user is NOT allowed to phone and sms (=will not see list of calls and sms), can have individual contacts
2. user is allowed to phone and sms what means in real he is sharing sms and phonecallhistory with ALL other profiles/users- but with his own and individual contactdatabase.
I prefer complete separate accounts (= no sharing of sms and phonecallhistory) or complete mixed accounts (=incl. contacts, sms and phonecallhistory)
How can I get that?
Is there a workaround or app for that?
