[Completed] How can I get the Last Online Location on my Lost Android Phone? - XDA Assist

Good morning,
First of all I would say Sorry if I am posting in an incorrect category, due to I'm very new here.
I have tried to search over the Internet, but the solution is not existing, that leads me to create a thread here today.
Follow through on my topic, I have lost a phone Samsung Galaxy Note 5 N920C on Dec 2nd, 2015 (which I just bought on Nov 30th, 2015). I thought someone break through my house and stole it.
I signed up a new google account separately on this device when I first bought it, and it's still logged in. I have tried to track it with Android Device Manager but it always says Unavailable. I search through Google and some people recommend to see location history in the Google Map Timeline, I did, but there is nothing recorded.
Luckily or badly? Yesterday with my track on Device Manager app, I saw last online lod was on Dec 4th, 2015, so I doubt there should be a procedure to get the location log of the lost phone last online time. But I don't know how, and google doesn't have the answer for this.
That's the reason why I came here to day so maybe I can get some ways to get the location log from the XDA developers.
Thank you
Regards,
Chindasone

Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
I guess there's nothing else to try. Android Device Manager never worked well on my end so I now use Tasker. Don't you have some tools from Samsung to locate it?

Good luck!

[Problem] XDA developers homepage redirection

hey guys,
First congratulation on our new home here on XDA.
when i first came to this website couple of month ago, i had no idea where to find our forum. so i searched for the device on the the upper right corner while selecting forums and instantly redirected me to the i9000 subform.

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
That was great, however this wasn't fixed when we have our own section now, it still redirects to the old subform, which will easily confuse any new comers to the website.
One more thing worth mentioning, when i try the same search but using the portal radio button the website redirects to an error page , i hope that can be fixed too
if anyone knows a moderator or someone capable of solving these issues please help to improve our phone
Thanks for your time
I had the same issue raised This is what I meant by It's easier to use that then searching LOL

Sorry I didn't run into that earlier post of yours, so is anyone doing anything about it?
Maybe not now, as the forums migration is still being carried out
It's only a matter of time until it'll be fixed
good to see that the mod has done some work in the forums...its so clean!
This type of issue should be reported directly to a Senior Moderator for resolution. Having seen this thread, and verified the issue, I will pass it along to the admins for fixing.

[Q] How Do I Know my Google account haven't been hacked

Hi,
I stumbled while exploring google play (On a PC) - found out - apparently I have a sumsung....
my first was suspicion - someone hacked my google account...
but then why would he register a phone with it
her's a pic from google dashboard showing the mysterious device:

anyway... then I thought - there was that tablet ROM ( think padandroid ) which also gave
a nice 50 GB bonus by identifying as a Samsung device
(promotion the had and been canceled since then).
anyway, How can I Check this to be certain?

Maybe someone you knew used your account.
Change your pw
I did that , bus still I'd like to know how did this happen in the first place
Sent from my HTC Desire S
One of the ROMs you flashed identified itself as Galaxy Note. This is the most probable and most likely explanation.

[Completed] Tablet xgody T93Q

Hello everyone, I need your help Please.
I discovered Android and obviously I do stupid things
Following mishandling, my tablet is blocked.
I wanted to install and test other "ROM" (as one can install an OS on a PC) but my tablet is not happy: p
Currently it normally lit but the WiFi and the touchscreen does not work.
It is well recognized by my PC but I can not validate the connection to the tablet (hs touch screen).
So I want a "ROM" compatible and the way to install it.
Thank you
Ps: I do not speak english (google translate).
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Unfortunately I can find very little about your device. However, I see you've posted this question in a number of forums on the internet. The only other thing I can suggest is to post here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2257421

Jd1639 Hello, yes I use the wizard but as you point out, not easy to find information for this device.
The other week when I asked the same question is in standby, so I came here. I also contacted the seller for more information but I have no answer yet ...
If you think my message would be better elsewhere, do not hesitate to move

[Completed] "Faulty" emoji font

OK, fellas
I've lurked XDA for a while now and it's solved many of my doubts. Today, however, I finally decided to create an account and ask for something I haven't seen solved around the web. You probably heard about Android 6.0.1 with the new emoji – my query is somewhat related: I had a Nexus 5 until not so long ago and I noticed how some emoji wouldn't display correctly, appearing only as the "raw" Unicode character instead of Google's custom design. I dismissed the problem as some sort of mistake I may have comitted while flashing a factory image or something, although it'd never be corrected as I continuosly updated to the most recent OS version available. I even took this issue up to the Google Product forums to no avail. Finally, I traded the Nexus for a Moto Maxx XT1225 (for other reasons than this) and, to my surprise, the problem is on this new device too! I haven't meddled with it yet (rooting, etc.) and it came out of the box with Android 5.0.2 – below, a screenshot showing the characters that are not displaying correctly (unless it isn't there; in which case, I failed to attach the image)

}
Does anyone have any idea of what it could be? It's a minor issue, but it sure has been bugging me...
I figure downloading an intact font file and replacing the one on my phone would do the trick, but I'd prefer a solution that didn't require rooting, if possible.
Thanks for any help! :good:

Whatsapp keeps banning my account, any hints?

Hi guys. I'm actually doing this thread just because Whatsapp has acquired an understandable behaviour, but I want to know if I can fully reset my account in order to get it working.
3 days ago, after a total number of +500 reinstalls with same number (I flash my phone very often, about 100 ROMs per device) it started to add 24hs of suspension of my account at everytime I try to verify its number again, so, if I flash 2 ROMs in a day, I got ~48hs of ban, and can't verify my account. It seems like they think that I'm trying to SPAM their severs.
Is there any way to, at least, even loosing everything, fully wipe my account without getting a new number? I've contacted their support, but being root they've automatically rejected my ticket.
Thanks in advance.

Bump
How do they know in advance that you're rooted, can't you just send an email to the support adress? A human will read it and might be able to help you.
Other than that, there is probably nothing you can do about it

Thanks for the answer, but they only read it if it comes with their headers containing the device info.
If you kept on doing that your account will be permanently banned.
you to wait and be patience and do contact there support or you can also try to contact them via there official facebook page
The only thing you should do right now is lay low & avoid doing what you're actually doing because this will only result in a permanent ban
