Just curious....
You thanked him but didn't credit or state that you had permission to use the ROM....
I'm assuming you did based on XDA Rule #12
12. Using the work of others.
If you are developing something that is based on the work of another Member, you MUST first seek their permission and you must give credit to the member whose work you used. If a dispute occurs about who developed / created a piece of work, first try to settle the matter by private message and NOT in open forum. If this fails, you may then contact a Moderator and provide clear evidence that the work was created by you.
Convincing evidence will result in the copied work being removed. If there is no clear evidence that it was you who created the work, then in the spirit of sharing, all work will remain posted on the forums.
As an addition, developers have the right to hold exclusivity over their work for as long as it is deemed necessary by that developer. However, if the work is claimed as exclusive, it must remain as such. No selective sharing will be allowed (ie, allowing certain people to use it and not others). If the developer decides to start sharing the work with others, the work automatically becomes available for all to use, albeit with the relevant credit displayed.
When permission has already been given, unless there is a very valid reason, it cannot be revoked (same applies to major updates on the work). Under that same premise, permissions cannot be denied unless the work is exclusive or under extreme circumstances.
In plain English: If you want to keep your work exclusive, go for it. However, if you are going to share your work, do it fairly.
Reposted content, derivative or maintained works based on that of former or banned members may be removed at our discretion.
These rules apply to all software posted on XDA (including but not limited to ROMs, RUUs, apps, games, kernels, themes, icons, etc) unless that software comes with a license that waives these rules.

Not necessarily. If erobot does not wish to grant permission, this thread will be closed.
That is a worry.
A simple PM to erobot notifying of this thread, explaining the mistake of not realizing permission was needed, AND requesting permission, should be enough.
If permissions is granted, that is.
There is nothing stated on his pages that that ROM cannot not be shared, modified, or utilized as a base ROM for something else. But that does not mean that those are not the dev's wishes.
That is why rule #12 exists, to eliminate any issues or disagreements.

nice to see all these roms for our S5 plus. but i think you should concentrate on one rom only, like the aurora port for example. i mean one at a time. now we have a lot of rom options but none of them are bugless or stable enough for daily usage. thanks for understanding.

The default kernel? I haven't tried as I keep it encrypted (not file level encrypted) but if you want it to be decrypted by default and don't want to risk it flash Franco/ElementalX along with Gapps and ROM.

Considering that the only pure Nexus build is by beanstown.. the only thread is by beanstown there are no unofficial pure Nexus builds... period.
And the fact that beanstown has provided the source for everyone to create there own private build...it has to stay private..he has stipulated that he doesn't want unofficial builds floating around...so out of respect for the developer u should remove this thread...

I have full respect toward the developer, I make and share builds only so the people who cannot build or don't want to build etc can try the builds until the Official builds start to roll out as soon as the team releases the official builds I will ask a moderator to remove the thread and thanks for explaining this to me, hope you understand that my intentions are not offensive.
@Ken.Adams I guess this is not allowed. You better get permission from beans.
Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
I have PM'ed the developer regarding permissions, I will keep you all updated regarding what he says and do appropriate.
This thread is closed until OP can obtain a Permission Under XDA Rule 12.

1. VoLTE and VoWiFi are not working for me.

3. Apps eg. Instagram freezes sometimes.
Rest of the things are great. thanks for the rom.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge on this matter. But isn't flashing Chinese firmware on a global device create problem in future due to roll back, if and when I move back to the global firmware? Not roll back per se, but all the things Mi did to prevent installation of global rom etc.

No. The source must point to the specific code that was used to build the kernel. Did you build a kernel for this ROM, or did you use the stock kernel?

Seems like the OP ( @nnt1709 ) is having issues understanding here are the sources they have to add:
Source Code
Kernel Source (bcm21553-common)
Device Trees (Totoro)
Device Trees (bcm21553-common)
And might as well give full credits to @afaneh92 for his CM9.2:
Base ROM Source Code (This ROM is based off of Afaneh92's CyanogenMod 9.2)

We aren't terribly concerned with the ROM source, we just need the kernel source to be published per the GPL Policy.

Again, English is required on XDA. Please translate your post. You must either post in English, or you must provide an English translation. This is not optional.
Also, why do you have 4 links for kernel source? We only need you to post the ONE source for the kernel included in this ROM.
