Hi everyone,
I just flash my Oneplus One to this ROM+Kernel by Xultanxda.
Everything works fine to me until I have a problem with my contact phone. Every single time I tried to open always show error message "unfortunately contact has been stop". How can I fix this bug?
I am newbie here so I can't post on the xultanxda thread. If this goes wrong, please tell me how to ask in this forum.

Have you cleared cache and data for contacts app in settings-apps-all ?

yes I have do that.. and looks like my contact app still got error message..
maybe I just have change my ROM..

what problem are you having, cant you login?
yes, it takes too much time then it tell me "unable to access Google servers try again later" !! I remember this problem before and it was something with cleaning the cache os something like that
yes.. you can try to wipe cache and dalvik cache through recovery mode...

Hi, I had added my google account to my cousins phone for sharing my applications with him. But he didn't find any interesting application for him that I have installed. But the issue is now I cant remove my account, when ever it is trying to remove its displaying a message to do factory reset. I am confused, please help me. He will kill me if I do the reset and I cant afford to share my private google account.. Please :crying:
You have to erase the database files from system apps but I am not sure about the exact location of the database files

Thanks, If you can figure out the location, do let me know
Settings>Accounts and Sync>
Then select the account you want. In the next screen select "Remove Account"...
Or something similar should be there in your version of android. You'll find this in Settings in the place where you have the Auto Sync option...

Its not possible, I have tried the same procedure. Its displaying to do factory reset
I say make a backup and download all the apps you downloaded to add card or pc
then delete account by privacy tab
and install everything

I had the same problem once and I googled and I got the answer.. But I forgot the website name

Yes that's one possible way but you loose your applications & data if you do that.
You can flash your stock ROM again if you want. Which country are you from & what is your current firmware version ?

Kyrillos ROM ? Where did you get this ROM from ? Are you sure you're in the right forum ?
Anyways you can flash the stock ROM released for India for your device without a factory reset.

Yes, his phone is Galaxy 3 and mine is Galaxy R. I am visiting R forum only, so I created the topic here by mistake:silly:. Thanks for your advice, I had done the same and its fine now.. :good:
This will work on all rooted android phones without factory rest or flashing anything.
Go to root explorer
Then data/system
Delete account.db
Reboot
That's it hope it helps

Den do a factory reset.. Den wen u reboot, just skip the google account thing and den restore apps using the same s/w.. Der u go.. Voila...
Google now doesnt seem to function properly.
For example, if I ask for the time it just crashes | if I ask for Sachin Tendulkars height, again it crashes

Guys i did update google search... still im facing the same problem
I also tried clear data and clear cache
Later i tried replacing the apk with m7 velvet
still not working
this is ridiculous

could it be because your location? it doesn't support all locations...

I have a htc explorer, google now works perfectly on that
as concerned at my location, google does support India

last thing i would try is flashing another gapps
disable hotword detection
guys i recently updated my xl to 4.2.2...somehow got adjusted to the flaws in firmware...only things that are bothering me are reboots (when using chrome esp)and when i open call logs it shows some java code related to missed call ... its really annoying...has anyone else faced this nuisance???any way to disable it ???....this code appers only for missed calls..

no havent tried it....does a reset really make a diff ?....didnt perform a reset coz don wanna install all apps again...will have to root again and reinstall all apps agian....and am afraid if the reset doesnt happen as expected...i mean many ppl have faced various problems n i havent faced those(camera prob,call dropping,net issues)...am afraid if after reset i start facing those problems reset bwont be worth it..any other soln other than reset?
Its highly recommended to do the factory reset after upgrade to not face any issue like yours or many others people. Don't worry, all apps you have installed will be downloaded by them selfs. Also rooting is just few seconds soo. I don't think there is other solution.

Sorry, I didn't have time to do it earlier, lots of work to do I've just finished the flashable zip with all the files and double checked to see if my script was deleting all the .odex files properly. It is currently uploading on Mega, 10% so far.

Omg, I didn't expect that to happen ! The phone I use and the file used come with the G800F variant, and I have no problems with the apps, never had any force closes. Maybe this means that the 800H roms use differents apks ? That sounds weird, because the apk should all be the same, regardless of the processor.
Maybe one of you guys could upload your system dump for the G800H ? I'll have a look into them and test them with my phone.

did you tick the System Checkbox in Mount when you reboot in TWRP first ?
