There is no android event I could bind this to AFAIK.
For this to work we would need to add some extra code to the framework.
Is there any chance this will work on cm?
CM kernel run on COS, I see no reason why a COS kernel shouldn't run on CM then.
I haven't tried it though so be my guest and try. Please do report back with your results.

Where Euphoria ROM ?????
Sorry Exodus
Works on latest CM nightly! Thank you very much.
Will try it on nightly from 26th november.
Edit: It works quiet nice. Thx a lot!
Edit2: but Now I don't have root anymore..
I will try and package another ramfs for the CM users tomorrow. That should fix a few things like root.

This is a closed source kernel mod so that won't be possible.
DT2W does work however. I'm using it right now on COS.

hhmmm strange... here my screenshot using Chroma (have Double tap to Wake) after flashing your mod it dissapear..
I'm using "Resurrection Remix v5.5.9" porting from Chinese Developers
This mod was made for COS so it is to be expected to have issues with other ROMs, but I think that swapping out the ramfs should be enough to solve that issue.
The problem with that is that I would have to create a different ramfs for every ROM out there...

That's because you have remapped your recent apps button to a different action, this remap of course also affects the fingerprint reader and the events it produces.
The mapping listed in the first post thus refers to the default button mapping (unmodified by users).
On another note, I've uploaded a CM 12.1 optimized version of the mod, this should fix issues with root (and hopefully others) that CM users have been experiencing until now.
COS users should stick to the original zip file I've posted.
Do you have any zip to undo this mod? My phone has rebooted 3 times by itself today since I applied this. Running a rooted COS rom YOG4PAS3OH. The mod itself Worked just fine though
I can guarantee you that the reboots are not caused by this. Been running the same setup you claim to have since the inception of this mod.
Sadly I do not have a undo mod available, however you only need to restore the boot.img of your original ROM and the Generic.kl file.

Succesfully compiled PAC rom for Galaxy ACE 3 LTE! It is compiled from CM11 device tree with slight modifications. Everything works like CM11, expect NFC! Rom can be used as a daily driver!
Note: PAC stands for Paranoid AOKP and CyanogenMod! It combines all the goodies in one ROM!
In my opinion it can be used as a daily driver!

Very nice job, i didn't test it yet, but want to tell some bugs on preview release.
Touch sensitive is not good enough, some times need to touche twice on same place to can recognize.
Had 3-4 times crash, on Torch, wile was trying to put lite one, but after the crash is started to work okay. Same happened on GPS Location, wile switching on/off.
Some times the home button doesn't wake up the phone, navigation buttons are lighting but screen doesn't turn on.
And about Deep Sleep, yes after some restarts, now is working

Although, most of the times feedback is not required as these users are building from the source and aren't really contributing code and it is a preview build.

I'm really lost now - does anyone else have a problem with no cellular service on the Lollipop builds? I have tried three different ROMs, but none of them give me any service, sometimes I even get the "no SIM card inserted" icon in the taskbar.
Yesterday I wiped my phone completely through TWRP - wiped ROM, deleted data, and mounted the phone system to my computer - nothing was left except the folder TWRP.. Transferred the zip's, installed the CM12 build, and the same thing happened.
As soon as I install any CM11S ROMs, I get signal and LTE/3G/2G coverage as usual. I'm using "Telenor" (in Norway) as my service provider.
Is everyone else running a kernel, modem or anything else I have completely missed?
Thanks
Hardware keys stay on...
This is a great build with very little issues. However, I have noticed that after locking the screen sometimes the hardware keys stay lit.

Same here, though I can't seem to find a fix.. Only workaround is using the on-screen buttons but I'd much prefer a fix!
hardware keys stay on in first lock
When Turn the screen off the hardware buttons keep ON.
Only turning the screen ON ena OFF again the hardware keys will turn off.
Issue in 20141122 build.
I'm using Firefox and the regular hardware buttons. I've affected the menu button to see last apps but Firefox still thinks I have the menu button activated, so he doesn't shows me the button for it's menu besides the tabs button.
Any ideas ?
Vibrate on touch off issue
Turning vibrate on touch off does not seem to be working. Running 21/11/14 - NEW Evening build.
I got a problem. Sometimes, I tap the home button, nothing happen. I need to tap twice to go to home.
This happens randomly and logcat can't catch any log about it.
Tried blisspop and temasek, both give same bug. Sometimes, it happen often but still randomly.
Both nav bar and hardware button have same problem. Anyone got this problem too?

CM12s is good but its code is outdated. Other Cm12.1 roms offer both latest code/androi dversion and more customization. They are fairly stable for daily use. Theme engine in 12.1 is better and also DPI changer which is very useful. But its just my opinion

You are losing my point actually. As stated in this thread's title, I got an issue where sometimes, I need to tap on home button twice, to go to the home. Tapping once doesnt do anything.
I tried temasek, blisspop, cyanide and hazyrom. All of them are based on android 5.1.1 right?
I have tried mahdi 4.4.4 and this issue doesnt came out. So I am trying cm12s and srill there is no issue. Perhaps, Euphoria may have this issue as well.
Btw, thanks for recommendation.
That's great that its not in present in cm12S

As the title says, this is a flashable OmniSwitch recents management zip for 5.1.x ROMs. All credit goes to @maxwen for creating OmniSwitch and @czboyshubham for creating this zip originally for 5.0. I simply updated it for 5.1.x so it functions properly on updated ROMs. I did this for Pure Nexus, but it should work on anything as far as I know - let me know if you run into issues and I will update this post accordingly. czboyshubham's original thread for those who wish to say thanks:

I've been messing with this for like 2 hours and no matter how I package the zip it will absolutely not open OmniSwitch outside of "restricted mode" no matter what I do. This is apparently going to be more difficult than I thought, but I'm still working on getting the permissions working so we can upgrade.. will update the thread as soon as I get it working. The new layout is nice, but I don't think we want restricted mode.. need to get to the bottom of this.

Awesome, glad it's running great for you too. What device/ROM you have it running on? Curious if it is working across the board, works great on Pure Nexus for N6 but haven't tested anything else myself. Anyone who uses this, feel free to leave device/ROM info if it works or doesn't - I hope this is compatible with anything, it should be the way perms are set but I am not really sure so confirmation would be cool.

What ROM/kernel are you running? Does it give you a "restricted mode" notification when you first boot? I was having these issues for the first 20 or so times I tried to package this, but the release I finally put out works outside of restricted mode on my Nexus 6. My kernel is set to permissive as well, if that matters any - definitely curious to see what causes the incompatibility.

I doubt AK kernel is the issue. I'm curious if it's a device issue, or more likely that this does not work on stock firmware, only custom ROMs. If anyone has this up and running on the One Plus One, or if anyone has this running on stock, please let me know. My guess is that this will only work on stock AOSP or custom ROMs, but that is just a guess at this point - hoping to get confirmation as more people download and flash. Thanks for reporting, I'll see what I can do once I get more information from other users across devices (hopefully).
Just wanted to let everyone know - this works for M ROMs, at least for Pure Nexus Marshmallow. Enjoy spicing up your M ROMs until features get added, thought I'd have to wait on Omni M

screenshots don't show. is it a tapatalk app issue, i wonder. anyway, thanks for the rom. will test it over the weekend (when i get the device in my hand). btw, will folks who don't use gapps face issues if they don't update play services?
System UI like a AOSP or Blu Stock ROM?

I not sure what happens if you don't update it. The Oreo pixel launcher may need it for it's dependencies.

Blu stock Rom. It would be quite a big task to change it. It can't be replaced. It would have to be modified along with everything that depends on it.
I love this. Great work. I'm curious. Can you add the fingerprint button only method drax used for home back and multitasking? I got so used to it that it's tough going back.

Thanks! I don't know if I'll be doing that yet. I never used his Roms. Is there an option on the stock rom to use gestures on the fingureprint sensor?
Stock rom only allows you to use the fingerprint for home and back. But drax added in double press of home for multitasking allowing us to completely turn off softfeys for more screen space. Also he adjusted the dpi of the display for more to fit on the screen (another thing I love about his room and I miss right now )

It is an option that you can turn on by modifying the settings.apk, systemui.apk and, framework-res. I'll go back and see exactly which xmls to modify. Though I would start with bools.xml for best results. Just use apktool to decompile and recompile. Once recompiled open both apks using 7zip and drag and drop the meta folder from the original apk to the modified apk.
As for gestures I don't believe that was an option.
The set is as such:
-tap or swipe fingerprint to go back
- double click home for multitasking
-single click takes you home
New update released. Please see change log for details. Updated Screenshots.
You should be able to get away with dirty flashing this rom if you are using previous SRGX2 version.

Great work, but I'm having a problem controlling (answering and terminating) calls. I can initiate phone calls, but there doesn't seem to be any way to hang up, so I have to reboot the phone. Please let me know if anyone else is having this problem.

Thanks for the heads up, I don't have a sim in my testing phone. I just put one in and tested it out. I don't see any way to hang up either. I have a new rom uploading with the dialer fixed. should be able to download it tomorrow.
Will a Mini variant be released?
New update released. Phone dialer has been fixed.

I haven't considered it. I didn't think there would be any interest. I'll see what I can do.
